Abstract: In this paper we attempt to explain and establish certain frameworks that can be assessed for implementing security systems against cyber-threats and cyber-criminals. We give a brief overview of electronic signature generation procedures which include its validation and efficiency for promoting cyber security for confidential documents and information stored in the cloud. We strictly avoid the mathematical modelling of the electronic signature generation process as it is beyond the scope of this paper, instead we take a theoretical approach to explain the procedures. We also model the threats posed by a malicious hacker seeking to induce disturbances in the functioning of a power transmission grid via the means of cyber-physical networks and systems. We use the strategy of a load redistribution attack, while clearly acknowledging that the hacker would form its decision policy on inadequate information. Our research indicate that inaccurate admittance values often cause moderately invasive cyber-attacks that still compromise the grid security, while inadequate capacity values result in comparatively less efficient attacks. In the end we propose a security framework for the security systems utilised by companies and corporations at global scale to conduct cyber-security related operations. Keywords: Electronic signature, Key pair, sequence modelling, hacker, power transmission grid, Threat response, framework.

Due to its nature, cyber security is one of the fields that can benefit most from the techniques of artificial intelligence (AI). Under normal circumstances, it is difficult to write software to defend against cyber-attacks that are constantly developing and strengthening in network systems. By applying artificial intelligence techniques, software that can detect attacks and take precautions can be developed. In cases where traditional security systems are inadequate and slow, security applications developed with artificial intelligence techniques can provide better security against many complex cyber threats. Apart from being a good solution for cyber security problems, it also brings usage problems, legal risks, and concerns. This study focuses on how AI can help solve cyber security issues while discussing artificial intelligence threats and risks. This study also aims to present several AI-based techniques and to explain what these techniques can provide to solve problems in the field of cyber security.

In classic PKI systems, users resorted to cryptographic devices like smartcard or electronic-token to perform the required cryptographic operations, therefore all cryptographic operations will be done in a safe environment. Although a widely-accepted and highly-efficient method, along with the evolution of technology, it is also desirable to simplify user experience with the applications and at the same time to reduce costs. Thus, there is the problem of cryptographic devices and passwords needing to be retained and secret. To overcome all these impediments, we introduce the concept of remote signing, a concept that will simplify the signature generation process, and also increase security to the whole process while lowering costs for equipment. Therefore, by the fact that the signature generation process will be delegated to a remote service, the possibility of generating errors due to the client system is minimized, the need for a cryptographic device for users is eliminated. At the same time, the entire computational effort is also delegated to the remote service, which means an increased computing speed, and by the fact that the cryptographic devices that generate the signature are located at distance, there is also the possibility of physical securing and limiting unauthorized access.

The technological advancements in image storage, data processing, and signal analysis of Big Data include (a) the fastly degrade the cost of storage and CPU power in recent arena; the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of data operating platforms and cloud computing systems for flexible computation and storage; and (c) the development of new frameworks , which allow users to take advantage of these divided computing systems storing large amount of data which is almost flexible parallel processing. The proposed survey work focused on discussing the various impacted cyber-attack critics available in industry and the trending algorithms available for cyber security etc. Big data in IoT clouds handling and software platforms which allow the malware enter into the working systems are analyzed, reliable methods to avoid the miscellaneous malwares are clearly depicted here.

Many embedded systems in a Smart Grid have special constraints in terms of timing, cost and power consumption to ensure security. This paper addresses the Smart Grid security problem with a focus on improving the security of crucial components, and reducing the risks from cyber attacks. A hardware architecture to enhance the security of important embedded devices in the smart grid has been proposed and implemented. This hardware based malware detection system runs on a dedicated hardware implemented with FPGA logic, and allows detection in near real-time. The system architecture and results are presented in the paper.

The paper considers the description of electronic signature scheme Rainbow, which is based on multivariate transformations. It is a generalization of the UOV structure, which provides efficient parameterization due to the additional algebraic structure. The article provides an initial analysis of known attacks on the ES Rainbow scheme. Also, algorithms for generating general system parameters for 384 and 512 security bits were developed and the results are presented in this paper. The study found that the Rainbow signature generation process consists of simple operations of linear algebra, such as multiplying matrix vectors and solving linear systems over small finite fields. Another advantage of Rainbow is that this scheme offers very small signatures of only a few hundred bits. But the main disadvantage of Rainbow is the large size of public keys.

Cyber Security refers to the processes of protecting data and systems from cyber-attacks. Any firm without security policies and systematic security systems is at large risk and the important data related to that firm are not safe without security policies like. Payment Card Industry and Data Security Standard framework used to protect payment security credit card, debit card, etc. In maintaining access, the hacker inside the target system is used to exploit vulnerabilities and password cracking. In today’s era, day by day cybercrimes rise so it raised the requirement of system Security or even the entire network. As more business exercises are being mechanized and an expanding number of PCs are being utilized to store important data, the requirement for secure PC frameworks turns out to be more evident. As a result, network safety issues have become public safety issues.

AbstractMultiple governmental agencies and private organisations have made commitments for the colonisation of Mars. Such colonisation requires complex systems and infrastructure that could be very costly to repair or replace in cases of cyber-attacks. This paper surveys deep learning algorithms, IoT cyber security and risk models, and established mathematical formulas to identify the best approach for developing a dynamic and self-adapting system for predictive cyber risk analytics supported with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and real-time intelligence in edge computing. The paper presents a new mathematical approach for integrating concepts for cognition engine design, edge computing and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to automate anomaly detection. This engine instigates a step change by applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning embedded at the edge of IoT networks, to deliver safe and functional real-time intelligence for predictive cyber risk analytics. This will enhance capacities for risk analytics and assists in the creation of a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the opportunities and threats that arise when edge computing nodes are deployed, and when Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies are migrated to the periphery of the internet and into local IoT networks.

As cyber-attacks and their subsequent responses have become more frequent and complex over the past decade, research into the performance and effectiveness of cybersecurity teams has gained an immense amount of traction. However, investigation of teamwork in this domain is lacking due to the exclusion of known team competencies and a lack of reliance on team science. This paper serves to provide insight into the benefit that can be gained from utilizing the extant teamwork literature to improve teams’ research and applications in the domain of cyber-security.
