The olfactory cognitive test is not commonly used. Still, it required in the future because it reported that and olfactory disorder appears as an initial symptom of Alzheimer’s dementia or COVID-19 infection. There are several types of odor inspection kits used for testing, but in Japan, there are odor sticks, open essences, T&T olfactometry, etc. This time, we report that we conducted an olfactory cognitive test using Odor Sticks and Open Essence on healthy 112 peoples (34 high school students, 55 university students, and 23 middle-aged). The Open Essence (made by FUJIFILM) has the smell as same as the Odor Stick Identification Test (OSIT-J). The odor Stick (made by Daiichi Pharmaceutical industry Co., Ltd.) and the open essence include the aromas as curry, perfume, Japanese cypress, India ink, menthol, rose, wood, stynkysocks/sweat, roasted garlic, condensed milk, gas for cooking, and Japanese mandarin aromas. This 12 different odorants perception is not necessarily culture-free; the Japanese version employed.

Learning media is a help assistant for students to understand mathematics concept. Sometimes textbooks are very boring and not interesting therefore an innovation using a technology based media is needed. This research aims to make a learning media to improve students’ ability on the topic of trigonometry. The learning process will use hawgent dynamic mathematic software as a mathematics learning media. The problems that we are going to find out through this research are 1) can developing a learning media such as hawgent dynamic mathematic software improve students’ mathematical ability? and 2) did the student show a positive response in the learning process when using hawgent dynamic mathematic software? This research will use the ADDIE method. The target of this research are 30 high school students. The instruments use for this research are the cognitive test, interview and observation. According to the research result, there is an improvement in the students’ mathematical ability for trigonometry when using hawgent dynamic mathematic software. This means that the implementation of hawgent dynamic mathematic software in the learning process is successful. Students are more active and enthusiastic in class. In conclusion, developing hawgent dynamic mathematic software can improve the students’ mathematical ability in trigonometry as students’ show positive response when the learning process is helped by hawgent.

Colors convey meaning and can impair intellectual performance in achievement situations. Even the processing of color words can exert similar detrimental effects. In four experiments, we tried to replicate previous findings regarding the processing of the word “red” (as compared to a control color) on cognitive test scores. Experiments 1 and 2 (Ns = 69 and 104) are direct replications of Lichtenfeld, Maier, Elliot, and Pekrun (2009). Both experiments failed to uncover a red color effect on verbal reasoning scores among high school students and undergraduates (Cohen’s d = 0.04 and –0.23). Experiments 3 and 4 (N = 103 and 1,149) failed to identify an effect of processing red on general knowledge test scores (Cohen’sd = 0.19) and 0.01) among undergraduates and adults. Together, these results do not corroborate the assumption that processing the word red impairs intellectual performance.

Karir adalah salah satu hal penting yang perlu disiapkan dalam kehidupan seseorang. Perencanaan karir idealnya dilakukan pada masa remaja. Meskipun demikian, banyak siswa SMA masih belum bisa menentukan dan mengambil keputusan tentang pemilihan studi lanjut di Perguruan Tinggi. Lembaga Psikologi DTC membutuhkan pengembangan sistem agar dapat menggantikan peran dari sesi konseling untuk dapat memberikan rekomendasi jurusan kepada siswa yang berasal dari bimbingan belajar yang bekerja sama dengan mereka. Karena keterbatasan tenaga ahli untuk konseling di beberapa kota, maka dibutuhkan pengembangan sistem untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. Pada penelitian ini, prototype psikotes yang akan dikembangkan adalah tes perencanaan karir. Tes perencanaan karir ini adalah tes model CBT (Computer Base Test) yang berisi tes kognitif (bakat) dan tes minat. Bentuk dari tes kognitif adalah multiple choice menggunakan teori Sternberg. Bentuk dari tes minat adalah forced choice menggunakan teori Holland. Hasil dari prototype ini berupa report yang berisi tentang hasil dari tes kognitif, tes minat dan rekomendasi jurusan yang cocok untuk siswa SMA.Kata Kunci — Sistem Pakar, Psikologi, Kognitif, Minat, Sternberg, Holland.Career is one of the important things that need to be prepared in a person's life. Career planning is ideally done in adolescence. Even so, many high school students still cannot determine and make decisions about the selection of advanced studies in college. The DTC Psychology Institute requires the development of a system so that it can replace the role of the counseling session to be able to provide recommendations of college majors to students from tutoring agency who collaborate with the DTC. Because of the limited expert for counseling in several cities, it is necessary to develop a system to improve service quality. In this study, the prototype psychological test that will be developed is a career planning test. This career planning test is a Computer Base Tes) model that contains cognitive tests (aptitude) and interest tests. The form of cognitive test is multiple choice using Sternberg’s theory. The form of interest test is forced choice using Holland’s theory. The results of this prototype is a report containing the results of cognitive tests, interest tests and recommendations of college majors that are suitable for high school students.Keywords— Expert System, Psychology, Cognitive, Interet, Sternberg, Holland.

A modification of the Paired-Stimuli Parent Program (Florance, 1977) was adapted for the treatment of articulatory errors of visually handicapped children. Blind high school students served as clinical aides. A discussion of treatment methodology, and the results of administrating the program to 32 children, including a two-year follow-up evaluation to measure permanence of behavior change, is presented.
