The chronicle of the scientific seminar held on February 6, 2020 in the Department of Manuscripts of the A.M. Gorky Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences and dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of Artem Vesely reviews twelve reports that examined the biography of the writer, his work as an editor of the newspaper of the city of Melekessa of the Samara province “The Banner of Communism”, his role in the literary process of the 1920-1930, creative ties with contemporary writers, and analyzed the poetics of the studies “Native Country”, “Russia Washed in Blood”, “Liberty”, “Barefoot Truth”, etc.

Есенина» и «Есенинской энциклопедии» (фундаментальным сводам знаний о жизни и творчестве поэта): концепции, этапам работы, структуре, содержанию разделов, типологии энциклопедических статей. Первый выпуск «Есенинской энциклопедии», приуроченный к 125-летию со дня рождения поэта, носит название «Памятные места. Литературная география», содержит 353 статьи о 445 реальных и литературных топонимах Есенина и вышел в свет в самом начале 2021 г. The article looks into Sergei Yesenin-related scholarly projects of the Gorky Institute of World Literature, an institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It describes the principles based on which The Chronicle of Sergei Yesenin’s Life and Work and The Yesenin Encyclopaedia were prepared, the stages of the editing process, the structure, the content of the chapters, and the typology of the entries. The first volume of The Yesenin Encyclopaedia has been published in early 2021 for the poet’s 125th birthday. It is entitled “Places of Memory. Literary Geography” and contains 353 articles on 445 real and fictional toponyms used in Yesenin’s works.

The Organizers of the conference are the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” and Alferov Saint Petersburg National Research Academic University of the Russian Academy of Sciences. More than 300 participants from Russia, CIS countries, Europe and America took part in the conference. The conference consisted of poster reports presented by the young participants (students, PhD students, and young researchers) and topical lectures by invited speakers. Due to restrictions imposed by the city authorities on holding mass events due to the threat of the spread of the COVID-19 infection, this year’s conference was held in a hybrid format at the HSE University (Saint-Petersburg, Russia). Most of the participants were present in person, while the rest could listen to reports and ask their questions on-line. Some of the speakers also made their presentations in a distant format. The article presents the results of a scientific seminar that brought together experts from various fields of science. The participants discussed issues that affected the formation of floodplain landscapes in Western Siberia, historical development of these territories by the ancient man and dating for these events. The presentations contained interesting methodological solutions and vivid results. As a conclusion of the seminar, a summary was presented which reflects the modern approach to solving these scientific problems.

The article comprises a communication by Dr. Dyya Nafi, the professor at the University of Baghdad, (at present of the city of Vladimir, Russia) given at the XII Conference of Arabists of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (November 27–29, 2017, Moscow) on the first Russian-Arabic dictionary of proverbs and sayings, which was published by the publishing house “Nowar” (Baghdad) in 2017. The communication stresses that the comparative paremiological studies of the Russian and Arab sources were conducted both in Iraq (the Russian Department of the Baghdad University) and in Russia. As an example the speaker did refer to the book “The Comparative Study of Russian and Arab Proverbs” (Baghdad, 1978) as well as the Russian-Arabic Phraseological Dictionary (Moscow, 1989). In addition to these groundbreaking works were prepared a number of relevant MA and PhD thesis. The speaker has stressed the fact that his own research with regard to its volume and structure is offers sufficiently more information in comparison to the already published works and is the first dictionary of this kind published in Arabic.

In 2009 we for the first time found a look in a neighborhood of the city of Geledzhik. Still this look wasn't specified for t he territory of Russia, but also Palearktiki as a whole. In 2013 this look was noted repeatedly. I t testifies about not accidents of detection. The species is resulted for the first time for Russia and will be included in base Zoological institute the Russian Academy of Sciences (www.zin.ru/ANIMALIA/COLEOPTERA/eng/atl_elat.htm)

Since 2015, two platforms for popular science lectures have been constantly operating in Apatity. The first one is supported by the head of the Apatity and based in the House of Culture named after V.K. Egorov. The second platform «The land where I live»is situatedin the city library named after L. A. Gladina. Since April 12, with the beginning of the quarantine, the both lecture platforms have moved into a ZOOM virtual format. In 2020 the Kola Science Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences has got an official YouTube channel. It was used for popular science lectures, in the course of which scientists would share results of research, analytical data, historical facts in a simple and informal language; 27 online lectures in total.
