Using the models of family farms implementing cattle production, it has been analyzed how economic efficiency and financial feasibility of the cattle production investments is influenced by the size of family farms; the type of production; the way of securing of the land for the forage production, both under the safe and risky circumstances. During the analysis of economic efficiency the dynamical methods of investment evaluation have been used, as well as the appropriate method for risk estimation of investments. Besides, in the study has been analyzed an earlier development of the cattle production in the Republic of Serbia, its present conditions, as well as the prospective developments of the bovine production. Judging by the acquired data, it has been established that the family farms investments with a larger number of cows are more economically efficient and more financially feasible, as well as that these investments have a lower level of risk taking in the uncertain conditions of business undertakings.

Introduction. The article deals with the main problems of rural diversity in Kalmykia based on a sociological study conducted in may-August 2019 in nine districts of the republic. One of the research tasks is aimed at determining the main economic structures in the modern villages of the region. The purpose of the article is to introduce the results of a mass questionnaire survey into scientific circulation. Results. The mass questionnaire survey allowed us to clarify the factors that influence various agricultural practices, the specific features of rural space, when the usual forms of management disappear and new outlines of the village appear. Personal subsidiary farm is an important source of income for the family. Half of the respondents will not change the intensity of work in their farmstead and are ready to expand it with an increase in wages and other social benefits. The author of the article using the self-esteem of villagers determined the marketability/non-marketability of family farms, entrepreneurial activity of smallholders, the presence/lack of motivation of the rural population to the maintenance of peasant farms (KFH). Diversity, types of employment in various fields, and income levels of the rural population determine the main changes in rural life. The results of the study revealed the most important problems of rural residents: lack of jobs, financial opportunities for farm development, availability of state support for farmers.

Within the Active Living and Well-Being Project (RRP3), funded by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Regional Development Fund Investing in Your Future program, we aim to develop different approaches and prototype solutions to provide ICT solutions for the family in order to connect its members; communicate; promote quality family time, active life, a health-friendly lifestyle and well-being; and integrate various sensor and user-based data sources into a smart city ecosystem platform. A mixed methodology, combined qualitative and quantitative approaches, was selected to conduct the study. An online survey with a structured questionnaire as well as semi-structured interviews were performed. Through the analysis of the results, we tried to establish a family-centered design approach that would be inclusive as much as possible, creating benefits for all generations in order to develop an interactive prototype solution that would allow us to further test and verify different use-case scenarios.

The article analyzes individual measures aimed at protecting and strengthening the institutions of marriage and family in the Republic of Belarus, in particular, the establishment of a differentiated rate of state duty charged for divorce in both judicial and administrative procedures, as well as the provision of basic and additional term for divorcing spouses to take reconciliation measures. The article is based both on the norms of international legal acts and their interpretation by the authorized bodies, as well as on the norms of the national legislation of the Republic of Belarus and current statistical data. The article draws a number of conclusions: on the non-uniform application of security terminology in relation to the institutions of marriage and family; on the irrational approach to setting the rates of state fees charged for divorce in an administrative procedure; on unnecessary administrative barriers in the form of a two-month term for registration of a divorce in administrative procedure.

Introduction. High values of standardized mortality and morbidity rates of standardized cancer mortality in Serbia, especially colorectal, cervical and breast cancer led to creation of national programs for their early detection and engagement of the international support for their implementation. Objective. Assessment of required resources (time, personnel, financial) to implement the National program for screening of breast cancer in the Republic of Serbia. Methods. Three possible scenarios have been prepared (optimistic, realistic and pessimistic) based on the expected coverage by screening of women aged 45 to 69 years, and time, personnel and financial feasibility estimates were made for a two-year screening cycle. Results. Time aspect of feasibility even under conditions of ?relaxation? of the assumption on the number of working days during the year did not question feasibility of any of the scenarios. Personnel feasibility is only possible in the pessimistic scenario, while the financial feasibility only makes sense in optimistic scenario as the least unfavorable solution due to economies of scale. Conclusion. Establishment of the initial base of skilled radiologists and radiology technicians and the system for their continuous medical education as well as allocation of specific MoH budget line for screening program expenditures, along with donated mammographs and good organization and coordination, may provide unobstructed implementation of the National program for early detection of breast cancer in the Republic of Serbia.

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of investments in the development of agricultural infrastructure, including in the development of new approaches to the formation and use of investments as a factor in increasing the economic efficiency of the agricultural economy. The research method is comparative and analytical analysis, calculations using the “eviews” software package and a systematic approach. To determine the possibilities of creating the volume of investment products directed to fixed capital in agriculture, it is possible to construct a mathematical function of investment in agriculture, both in theoretical and practical terms. For example, in the form of the dependence of investments in fixed assets in agriculture on the volume of products produced, depending on the rate of return in agriculture, interest rates, etc. As a result of the study, the main directions of investment attempts to increase economic efficiency in agricultural industry. It was concluded that investments in agriculture in the Republic of Azerbaijan increased by 393.9 million manats in 2010 compared to 2003, and by 727 million manats in 2018. However, this growth is not at the desired level. In short-term and closed economic conditions, the multiplicative efficiency can be higher. The scientific novelty of the study consists in clarifying the essence and role of investment as an economic category based on its definition in both a narrow and a broad sense, as well as in identifying trends and patterns in the formation and use of investments in the agricultural economy.
