Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik M-learning yang efektif untuk mendukung flipped classroom pada pembelajaran kimia SMA menggunakan pendekatan saintifik dan kelayakan M-learning yang dikembangkan dilihat dari validitas isi, media, dan desain pembelajaran, serta keterbacaan oleh pengguna. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pembuatan prototipe  M-learning pada topik kimia SMA kelas X dan prototipe pembelajaran M-Learning untuk satu topik kimia yang telah memenuhi kelayakan konten, pedagogi, desain media, uji coba teknis dan individual.  M-learning dapat diakses oleh pengguna yang dapat diposisikan sebagai guru atau siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik M-learning adalah menyajikan materi ikatan ion dan kovalen, strategi yang digunakan adalah felipped classroom, pembelajaran diarahkan untuk mengikuti langkah-langkah pendekatan saintifik mulai dari mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan informasi, mengasosiasi, dan mengomunikasikan, serta setiap pertemuan M-learning berisi materi, video, lembar kerja siswa, dan chatting, (2) produk M-learning menurut ahli isi berkriteria cukup baik dengan nilai 72,31, ahli media pembelajaran dan ahli desain pembelajaran memberikan nilai masing-masing 96,92 dan 95,00 dengan kriteria sangat baik, dan uji coba individu dari tiga orang siswa yang berkemampuan rendah, sedang, dan tinggi menunjukkan hasil yang baik dengan rerata penilaian 82,86. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa M-Learning dengan strategi flipped classroom dapat mendukung pendekatan ilmiah dalam pembelajaran kimia.

Abstrac - This study aims to create a mobile learning development using the Flipped Classroom model. This development research aims to facilitate learning activities so that they are more effective & efficient in accordance with learning principles and are goal-oriented to be achieved in the learning. Mobile Learning with the Flipped Classroom model is intended to be accessible by students in a more flexible manner without limited space and time, more effectively and is also expected to be more efficient in its implementation. The research method used is R & D, this development method uses the learning development model proposed by Borg and Gall, Dick & Carrey and J. Moonen. This is done because what will be developed in this study is a product of mobile learning media with a flipped classroom model. The stages in development for this product are: (1) needs analysis, (2) Production planning Development Design Learning test instruments, in this case using the development model of Borg and Gall, Dick & Carrey and J. Moonen (3) validation, evaluation and model revision, including: expert review and one to one evaluation (4) Model implementation, carried out using experimental designs.Keyword - Mobile Learning, Flipped Classroom, Learning Strategies Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah pengembangan mobile learning dengan model Flipped Classroom. Today's learner is able to access information from mobile devices. Due to accessibility and affordability of mobile devices, more instructors continue to adopt instructional design models of mobile learning as more learners also bring their mobile devices to their classrooms. Instructors using flipped classroom model organize the learning activities both inside and outside classroom. Before the next class the instructor avails instruction and content in advance. The learner reviews class content materials and assigned research activities at home prior to class. In class, the instructor allows learners to peer review their work in groups while the instructor engages them to validate their work. The findings described in this chapter suggest that introducing mobile learning to learners in a flipped classroom model helps to bridge learner entry behavior as it improves learner performance.

The approach proposed in this chapter called flipped classroom based on context-aware mobile learning system (FC-CAMLS) aims to provide learners with an adapted course content format based on their feedback and context. The latter has a significant influence on multimedia content in adaptive mobile learning. The contribution was applied in the context of the flipped learning in order to manage the heterogeneity of context imposed by this approach. Firstly, the authors present a quantitative analysis by means of structural equation modeling to analyze the causal relationships of knowledge, skills, and motivation with students' satisfaction. Secondly, they confirm that the proposed flipped classroom has positive effects on students' knowledge, skills, and motivation. Finally, the research provides useful results that the use of the context dimensions and learner feedback in adaptive mobile learning is more beneficial for learners especially in the flipped classroom.

Science learning in Indonesia has not succeeded in increasing scientific literacy skills, as indicated by the decreasing international ranking from year to year. One of the efforts made to improve scientific literacy is using Android-based learning media. This study aims to analyze the need for the development of instructional media to improve students' scientific literacy at MTs Al Uswah Bergas Semarang Regency. This type of research is a descriptive study that is to describes the current situation. The data instruments used were interviews, observation, and questionnaires. The results of the research on the analysis of the needs for learning media based on android showed that 38% of the 80 students, namely 30 students agreed to develop Android-based learning media, while 29% of the students showed disagreement, 21% strongly agreed, and 12% strongly disagreed. There are aspects of literacy then students including; literacy as mastery of science as knowledge was 63%, 66% as a way of thinking, 62% of scientific literacy as a way of learning, 62% of the aspects of mastery of the competence of the interaction of science, technology, and society. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the development of Android-based mobile learning media to improve students' scientific literacy
