RESEARCH OF PROPERTIES OF THE FREQUENCY CONVERTER AS THE POWER SUPPLY OF THE SHIP ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT
Data processing, received as a result of voltage measurement at the output of the frequency converter which is used as the electric power supply, was presented. Measurements of output voltage of the frequency converter were taken in case of the variable loading representing various combination of electric motors and glow lamps. Operating modes in case of symmetric and asymmetrical loadings were simulated. The collected data were checked for compliance to requirements of GOST 32144-2013 "Power quality limits in the public power supply systems" regarding the requirement to a sinusoid of the feeding voltage and its harmonious components. Data for handling were obtained on the experimental installation collected at the department "Electric equipment and automation of ships" of the Astrakhan State Technical university.
