Abstract: In this study, the researchers sought to understand the effects perceived value and innovation have on the propensity of university students to use sports tourism websites. This study also examined the moderating roles of age and education on this usage. University students (N = 354; 292 women and 62 men) from a public university in Malaysia were surveyed for this study. The findings revealed that perceived value and innovation significantly influence the propensity to use sports tourism websites among university students. The results also showed that both age and education significantly moderated their purposed associations. The findings of this study offer sports website managers, as well as policymakers in sports organizations, an insight that will aid in the development of effective online strategies to attract young users to engage with sports tourism websites. This study also informs managers and researchers about the importance of age and education when considering the relationship between predictors and the propensity of users to use sports tourism websites. The article deals with issues related to the characteristics of the qualification of causing injury or death to an athlete during sports events. The article analyzes the possibility of applying the provisions of certain circumstances that exclude the criminality of the act. Take into account that the relationship between the participants of sports competitions and sports training, while relationships at the same time are not regulated by the law and sports regulations sports, and the internal rules of sports organizations, defining the organization of the training process. Therefore, the issues related to the influence of special rules regulating the procedure for conducting sports competitions and other sporting events on the features of criminal liability (in particular, guilt), both athletes and other persons who ensure the conduct of sports events, are studied specifically. It is taken into account that modern legislation and law enforcement often ignores this requirement, which, in particular, is expressed in the failure to include the facts of sports injuries in the list of crimes in the field of sports. First of all, the article analyzes the issues of criminal-legal assessment of an athlete's act in the event of injury to health or death to another athlete, given that in sports, harm is usually caused unintentionally, by negligence. Therefore, the work analyzes the risks, harm to health, as well as measures that should have been taken by the organizers of the competition to avoid causing harm, taking into account that all these issues are evaluative. The characteristic of harming an athlete while observing the rules of events by his opponent is given. The question of how the rules relating to a particular sport can exempt a person from liability for causing harm is being investigated.

<p class="3">Semi-formal learning is used to describe learning that is directed towards the goals of a formal learning institution but outside of the learning structure of a specific class. Students studying online may form semi-formal groups to increase their knowledge of the content by interacting with other learners taking the same class. This study of cyber university students (n = 2042) involved looking at the relationship between semi-formal learning groups and levels of germane load.  Furthermore, this study sought to understand what role group work plays in moderating the relationship between motivation and germane load. This study found that highly motivated students had higher levels of germane load, and that group work negatively moderated that relationship. In other words, while all students benefited from group work, students with lower levels of motivation benefited more than students with high levels of motivation. This research fills an important gap by showing the value this type of group work can have for all learners, particularly those who may otherwise struggle.</p>

Although achievement goals have been the subject of much study about their implications for learning and performance, interest has been less marked in understanding their precursors, particularly those linked to students’ personal characteristics. In this study, we examine the role of a defensive pessimism strategy as a mediator and moderator of the relationships between self-esteem and achievement goals in a sample of 1028 university students. Analysis of mediation and moderation was performed using the PROCESS macro within SPSS. The results showed that defensive pessimism partially mediates and moderates the effect of self-esteem on approach goals (learning and performance). We found no significant mediation or moderation effect for defensive pessimism in the relationship between self-esteem and performance-avoidance goals. These findings suggest that defensive pessimism is an effective strategy to encourage motivational involvement in students with low self-esteem in the academic context.

<p>Much has been written about service quality impacts on customer satisfaction. However, little research on this perspective has been carried out in military settings. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction, and moderating effects of perceived value in military medical centre. A survey method was employed and data was collected from customers at medical centers under the administration of Malaysian army organization. Analysis was performed using SmartPLS path model analysis. The results show two important findings: first, the interaction between four service quality components (i.e., tangible, reliability, responsiveness and assurance) and customers’ perceived value were significantly correlated with customer satisfaction. Second, the interaction between one service quality component (i.e., tangible) were not significantly correlated with customer satisfaction. In overall, this result confirms that effect of tangible, reliability, responsiveness and assurance on customer satisfaction has been moderated by customers’ perceived value. Conversely, effect empathy on customer satisfaction has not been moderated by customers’ perceived value. Further, this study offers discussion, implications and conclusion.</p>

The purpose of this study was to examine the validity of four different types of voice behavior developed by Maynes and Podsakoff(2013). In addition, relation of personal characteristics to four different types of voice behavior and moderating effects of organization trust on relationship between personal characteristics and voice behavior were examined. Data were obtained from 309 employees in various organizations in Korea. Results showed that proactive personality was positively influences constructive voice and negatively influences destructive voice. Also psychological collectivism was positively influences supportive voice, and trait cynicism was positively influences defensive voice and destructive voice. The results of hierarchial regression analyses showed that organization trust moderated the relationship between psychological collectivism and supportive voice, defensive voice. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study and the directions for future research were discussed.

Fast food restaurant industry has become a subject to intense competition and rapid growth in Malaysia’s economy. Consequently, repurchase intention become crucial especially in the fast food business, as it relates to company’s profits. Only a few studies in Malaysia were found in the literature, which deal with university students’ perceptions about fast food restaurant services. Therefore, it is necessary to study the needs of the university students and to understand their preferences. This study examined the relationship between service quality, relationship quality, perceived value and perceived price towards repurchase intentions. Besides that the study also examined customer satisfaction as a mediating role in order to fill the gap in the previous studies. A total of 372 responses were obtained from students of three universities in Shah Alam, through questionnaires. Data were analysed with multiple regression by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 2.0. The findings showed that relationship quality is the main predictor of customer satisfaction (β=.369, p<.01) followed by assurance (β=.165, p<.01), perceived price (β=.162, p<.01) and food quality (β=.102, p<.05). The least predictor is perceived value (β= -.027), tangibility (β=0.53) and responsiveness (β=0.83).  The findings also showed that customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between assurance, food quality, relationship quality, perceived price and repurchase intention. The implications of the study are further discussed in this paper.
