One of the major issues in system integration is to deal with interoperability of legacy systems which use traditional System Integration Patterns (SIP). Information are unable to exchange effectively when the systems involved comes from developer that tended to not interoperate and this leads to the interoperability problem in heterogeneous system integration. To address the interoperability issues, interfacing processes need to be made more easily by defining components, processes, and interfaces that affect the system integration architecture at the initial design stage. This paper includes a basic concept on types of traditional SIP covering File-Based, Common Database, Remote Procedure Call (RPC), Distributed Objects, and Messaging. An overview of three Service Interface Design (SID) approaches for systems interoperability is discussed. The discussions on these approaches serve as a basis for the solution of interoperability of heterogeneous systems which use traditional SIP.

The development of technology and multimedia at this time has been developing rapidly, severalmultimedia applications have also been created and used in various fields. One of its uses is inthe field of e-commerce. Jualombok application is one of the e-commerce that is developing inLombok Island, but it is still tricky in establishing visual identity. In building the right use, acompany needs a visual identity and the correct User Interface for its application. Therefore, inthis study, the author will design a visual identity and User Interface for the JUALOMBOKApplication for the Jualombok marketplace application that has a focus on helping entrepreneurson the island of Lombok develop local MSMEs to promote and sell their products. Thisapplication was designed on November 13, 2017, by one of the companies in the city of Mataram,namely Cv. Sol Interactive. However, the design stage is only limited to the plan because theessential company is information technology, multimedia, and system integration. This researchis a qualitative study by conducting interviews with the company to get the data needed by theauthor relating to the company and the application of Jualombok. The concept used in this studyis the concept of local wisdom in the visual form and color of the logo for the user interfacecharacteristic of the island of Lombok in the log-in display on the user.User Interface Design Juallombok application presents a typical photo of the island of Lombok,namely rice barns and Songket cloth from the Sasak tribe, so that users still recognize thisapplication as an original application made by the company on Lombok Island despite having amodern look. So that both the visual identity and user interface will still remind the audience onthe island of Lombok, following what is desired by the company

For problem of heterogeneous system integration, Service-oriented component of integration model is proposed and the integration framework of component-based is constructed in this paper,which is based on research service component and integrated structure of SOA. The structure of service components is Designed,and analysis its working principle. WEB service and description criterion of registered for system is defined. Paper further study the key technical of heterogeneous information integration and mapping model. Finaly, with examples no heterogeneous systems integrate framework of service component is designed and implemented.

In large organizations, typical systems portfolios consist of a mix of legacy systems, proprietary applications, databases, off-the-shelf packages, and client-server systems. Software systems integration is always an important issue and yet a very complex and difficult area in practice. Consider the software integration between two organizations on a supply chain; the level of complexity and difficulty multiply quickly. How to make heterogeneous systems work with each other within an enterprise or across the Internet is of paramount interest to businesses and industry.

This paper describes the design and implementation of a senior level course in mechatronic system integration for students completing a mechatronics engineering option in mechanical engineering. The course is designed to give students theoretical and practical experience with a large-scale mechatronic system, and a variety of control, sensing and actuating architectures. The lecture component of the course introduces students to large-scale project integration and interface design, as well as system architecture design. Students learn about alternative control hardware platforms commonly used in industry, such as motion control hardware, field programmable gate arrays and programmable logic controllers. The selection and system integration of various industrial sensors, including vision, are presented. Students also learn about networked control and discrete event control approaches for large-scale industrial systems. The course contains a significant practical laboratory component. In a series of laboratory sessions, students develop and implement subsystems of a part sorting machine, culminating in the integration and demonstration of an automated, autonomous, sensor driven electro-mechanical system for sorting randomly delivered parts. The course offers students a theoretical background as well as significant practical experience with large scale mechatronics systems, as would be encountered in industry. This paper describes the lecture and laboratory content, and the experiences from the first offering of the course.
