The slow traffic system, which has a series of advantages including low cost of traveling, green environment protection and fewer resource-consuming, indicates its important role in the urban traffic system. This paper, through the research on the slow traffic system and based on current slow traffic system construction, puts forward new urban traffic mode including connection of “BRT (bus rapid transit) and PBFR (public bike free rental), integration of NBT (Normal Bus Transit) and TBB (take bicycle on bus), and planning of SCF (special cycle facilities) and SFW (special foot way) and NBT(normal bus transit). Finally, the paper Prouides a reference for exploring urban green and sustained development.

Developing urban low-carbon traffic is an effective measure to reduce traffic carbon emissions, which are important parts of greenhouse gas. In order to understand the development characteristics and regular patterns of urban low-carbon traffic, we present a game model that enables us to predict the possible range of travel mode choice and the impact of low-carbon awareness. Through chaos analysis and simulation of the model, the authors come to realize that the proportions of travel mode choice can reach an equilibrium under a certain urban traffic system. This equilibrium is related to low-carbon awareness and the situation of the urban traffic system. The research we have done suggests that in small cities with undeveloped traffic systems, the most effective measure to achieve urban low-carbon traffic is to increase the comprehensive costs of high-carbon travel. However, in big cities with developed traffic systems, raising low-carbon awareness of residents can greatly increase the proportion of low-carbon travelers and improve the stability of travel mode choice. The results could provide development strategies and policy suggestions for urban low-carbon traffic and reduce the adverse impact of urban traffic emissions on public health.

<p>With constant development of urbanization, urban traffic has become the most urgent problem in the contemporary metropolis. Therefore, it is an inevitable trend to positively improve the human-oriented sustainable urban eco-friendly traffic system. The urban branch road constitutes a part of urban road that will be mostly neglected while it plays a positive supportive role to the eco-friendly traffic. This article makes a contrast and analysis to the coordinated relationship between branch road network and eco-friendly traffic in same areas of Germany and Dalian City and concludes the branch road network’s assurance role to the eco-friendly traffic, points out deficiency of branch road network and low density in China. The development of eco-friendly traffic, raises a series of improvement measures to the urban branch road system.</p><p> </p>

Abstract Outokumpu Moda 410L/4003 is a weldable, extra low carbon, Cr-Ni, ferritic stainless steel that is best suited for mildly corrosive environments such as indoors, where the material is either not exposed to contact with water or gets regularly wiped dry, or outdoors, where some discoloration and superficial rusting are acceptable. It is a low-cost alternative to low-carbon non-alloy steels in certain applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-1330. Producer or source: Outokumpu Oyj.

The optimization of blank design is the key to the implementation of a green innovation strategy. The process of blank design determines more than 80% of resource consumption and environmental emissions during the blank processing. Unfortunately, the traditional blank design method based on function and quality is not suitable for today’s sustainable development concept. In order to solve this problem, a research method of blank design optimization based on a low-carbon and low-cost process route optimization is proposed. Aiming at the processing characteristics of complex box type blank parts, the concept of the workstep element is proposed to represent the characteristics of machining parts, a low-carbon and low-cost multi-objective optimization model is established, and relevant constraints are set up. In addition, an intelligent generation algorithm of a working step chain is proposed, and combined with a particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve the optimization model. Finally, the feasibility and practicability of the method are verified by taking the processing of the blank of an emulsion box as an example. The data comparison shows that the comprehensive performance of the low-carbon and low-cost multi-objective optimization is the best, which meets the requirements of low-carbon processing, low-cost, and sustainable production.

As a new economical development mode, “low-carbon economic” is attracting more and more attention all over the world. In this paper, associating with the development background of the low-carbon industry, we applied the uncertainty set pair analysis (SPA) into the investment decision-making of the listed company, and established the investment decision model based on the uncertainty SPA. As a case, we made investment decision analysis to 12 typical low-carbon industrial listed companies selected. The results show that it is effective and applicable, and the research is helpful for the investors conducting decision-making.

In this paper, which is part of a complex study of the urban-geographical development of Zadar, the author elaborates the main components of its traffic system. Special attention has been paid to the town traffic and to the importance of Zadar traffic function for its region and for Croatia. The elements of the urban traffic system: streets, roads and town bus lines have been treated in particular. The importance of the transit and regional traffic function of Zadar has been pointed out. There are characteristic indicators of the number of travellers and cargo quantities in the ship, railway, bus and airway traffic. Consideration has been dedicated to the significance and development of the Zadar sea port as well as to necessities of an efficient future development of all traffic functions in conformity with the necessities of town, region and Croatia.

An alternative source of heat energy to firewood called, palm waste briquette, has been developed from oil palm fruit process wastes. These wastes (sludge, shell, fibre) are compounded in a volumetric ratio of 1:2:3 and moulded into briquettes. The performance evaluation of a low cost women friendly palm waste briquette moulding machine was carried out. The evaluation showed that the machine designed and fabricated using readily available low carbon steel (mild steel) and employing the vertical screw thread mechanism in its operation, produces three different sizes of briquette (industrial sizes, medium sizes and domestic sizes). It requires only two unskilled operators and has a daily throughput of about 1,300kg briquettes (i.e. 400 pieces-industrial size or 800 pieces-medium size or 1,600 pieces-domestic size) unlike a modified brick moulding machine which has a daily throughput of 120 pieces industrial size

Climate crisis has become the main concern of International community. China is undergoing the quick growing period of urbanization. The fast urbanization inevitably encountered a lot of problems and defects. Our carbon emission occupy more and more percentage of the whole world. To change the traditional way of constructing activity and work towards low-carbon city development mode is the most important task of China city development. From the causes of low carbon cities construction and its significance, this essay focuses on the space structure, traffic mode, land use and landscape architecture framework of constructing a low-carbon city. Low carbon urban construction planning is also presented.
