Quality control is an important issue in the ceramic tile industry. Price of ceramic tiles also depends on purity of texture, accuracy of color, shape etc. Considering this criteria, an integrated  defect detection and classification technique has been proposed which plays an important role in ceramic tiles industries to detect the defects and to control the quality of ceramic tiles.GLCM extracts the  texture features and these features  together with color features are used for analysis in classifiers such as SVM, KNN and Bayesian. Experimental results illustrated that  every classifier gives highest accuracy with HSV.

Improvement of the quality of production processes organization, shift to a new engineering level and effective use of products are associated with the improvement of production and the development of organizational processes quality control system. The purpose of the paper is to study the methods and means that allow increasing the performance of the implementation and organization of production processes for the development of radio-electronic instrument making products, as well as their improvement. It is possible to increase production efficiency and quality of manufactured products, in particular, by ensuring the processes stability, reducing the dispersion of production parameters, timely detecting deviations of production processes and eliminating their causes. This can be achieved through the use of methods for organizing inter-operation statistical analysis, control and regulation of processes using cause-and-effect analysis of product parameters relationship, which allow establishing the statistical relationship of their parameters with the modes of the production process and patterns of product parameters distribution depending on processing factors. The analysis of converters production processes was carried out and the cause-and-effect diagram was drawn up taking into account the main factors affecting the quality and percentage of usable products yield. Structure of the analysis system for monitoring production processes and its algorithm are given. The paper shows the dependence of the filming process quality on films parameters in the form of a cause-and-effect graph, as well as products manufacture progress diagram, which demonstrates the reproducibility and stability of the converters production processes. An integrated approach to the implementation of production processes, taking into account special aspects of the technology, connection of instrument parameters with processing factors, organization processes quality control, allows reducing the dispersion of product parameters, improving process stability and overall production efficiency.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the effect of roller leveling process on the behavior of microstructure in flexible magnetic medium. Linear magnetic encoder is a highly precise measuring device that required accurate quality control during manufacturing. Previous studies have demonstrated the feasibility of roller leveling application to enhance the manufacturing of flexible magnetic medium. Mechanical shape defects in magnetic medium occurred during manufacturing due to environmental conditions can be eliminated through roller leveling process. In this paper, further steps were taken to understand the effect of roller leveling process in the microstructural level. From experimental results, it demonstrates that roller leveling process, a type of cyclic loading process, would not encourage crack growth if cracks were not initiated prior to leveling process. In addition to removing mechanical shape defects, understanding roller leveling process in magnetic medium application through investigating microstructure behavior has implications toward the fabrication quality of flexible magnetic medium.

The apparent quality of the concrete is its side performance and affects the aesthetic effect of the building. However, the apparent quality is closely relevant to the strength and the durability of the concrete. The experimental results show that some measures, such as optimizing the ratio of mixing and making use of the defoamers, can improve the apparent quality of the self-compacting concrete.

Airbags are subjected to strict quality control in order to ensure passengers safety. The quality of fabric and sewing thread influences the final product and therefore, sewing defects must be early and accurately detected, in order to remove the item from production. Airbag seams assembly can take various forms, using linear and circle primitives, with threads of different colors and length densities, creating lockstitch or double threads chainstitch. The paper presents a framework for the automatic detection of defects occurring during the airbag sewing stage. Types of defects as skipped stitch, missed stitch, or superimposed seam for lockstitch and two threads chainstitch are detected and marked. Using image processing methods, the proposed framework follows the seams path and determines if a color pattern of the considered stitches is valid.

This paper aims at investigating a method for tackling the problem of automated fabric defect detection. A new scheme for defect detection using Gabor filters was proposed. In the experiment, texture features is extracted using Gabor filters. The proposed method would automatically segment defects from the regular texture. The experimental results showed the effectiveness of the proposed detection scheme.

Water absorption is an important physical performance index to measure the quality of architectural ceramics products. The difference of water absorption test results between different laboratories is large, which cannot truly reflect the quality status of products, restricting the quality improvement of ceramic products and restricting the development of enterprises. This paper mainly analyzes the testing technology of water absorption of ceramic tile, and finds that the technical level of testing personnel, test water and vacuum system of equipment are the main factors affecting the results of water absorption test, and puts forward relevant Suggestions, which provides a strong basis for improving the testing technology of ceramic tile in the laboratory.

The compaction quality of the subgrade is directly related to the service life of the road. Effective control of the subgrade construction process is the key to ensuring the compaction quality of the subgrade. Therefore, real-time, comprehensive, rapid and accurate prediction of construction compaction quality through informatization detection method is an important guarantee for speeding up construction progress and ensuring subgrade compaction quality. Based on the function of the system, this paper puts forward the principle of system development and the development mode used in system development, and displays the development system in real-time to achieve the whole process control of subgrade construction quality.

In construction production, the safety of constructing buildings and structures is achieved by ensuring the required quality as a result of systematic construction control based on the implementation of a complex of technical, economic and organizational measures at all stages of the object's life cycle. The article deals with the actual problem of improving the quality of construction products-buildings and structures in conjunction with the activities of construction control bodies. The article presents the advanced foreign and domestic experience of ensuring the quality control at the construction sites, providing for the prevention of the underlying causes of defects and increasing the interest of the contractors directly. On the basis of the analysis of the current situation with quality control at the construction market, ways to improve its efficiency by developing a unified system of technological implementation of relevant requirements for the quality of construction products, determining the rational number and business load of construction control engineers, as well as the active activities of self-regulatory organizations in this area are offered.
