The study compared the three personality types delineated by Burger and Cross by obverse factor analysis with those disclosed by an average linkage cluster analytic technique. The data were from three subsamples of 85 men who completed the California Psychological Inventory for Burger and Cross. The standard score profiles within each sample were intercorrelated and then cluster analyzed. Four profile types were replicated across the three subsamples. Two of the types, labeled antisocial and well-adjusted, corresponded fairly closely to the Burger-Cross types. There were differences in the number of types generated, in the proportion of individuals classified, and in the profile shapes.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of personality types on consumer complaint channels. Respondents completed a survey that depicted four service failure scenarios, each with 11 possible courses of action. The three personality factors measured against the complaint behavior were locus of control, the California Psychological Inventory measure of sociability and Cattell’s 16 personality factors of relaxed versus tense. Factor analysis revealed three complaint channel dimensions: active, passive, and delayed. Sociability produced more active and less passive complaint behavior. Locus of control interacted with relaxed versus tense on the use of passive and delayed complaints. The findings have implications for recognizing and resolving customer complaints for different personality types.

The history of the creation of the Serkownek subscales for MMPI scales 5 and 0 is recounted briefly, beginning with their basis in factor analysis. Correlations with scores on other inventory scales and subscales are presented, including main MMPI scales, supplementary scales, and scales from the California Psychological Inventory. Scale 5 (Mf) subscales are fairly independent of each other and generally not related to pathology except for MF1, Hypersensitivity. Scale 0 (Si) subscales are highly intercorrelated and generally related to pathology except for Si3, Rigidity.

Goats are livestock that is mostly raised by small farmers in Indonesia because they are easier to raise. Apart from having the potential to become meat, several breeds of which are kept as milk-purpose. Milk traits of each breed differ from one another. Therefore, this study tried to observe genetic differences of 25 goat breeds with statistical approach. Information about milk traits from 25 goat breeds is obtained from published journal. Multidimensional preference analysis and average linkage cluster analysis were performed using SAS 9.4 to determine the differences in goat breeds from three traits, namely milk yield, fat content, and protein content. Multidimensional preference analysis was able to see the advantages of breeds from the three observed traits. Goat breeds with superior milk yields are Saanen, Camosciata delle Alpi, and Charmoisée. Sarda Primitiva, Sarda, Etawah Grade have high fat content in milk. In addition, Arsi-Bale and Somali have high protein content. Average linkage cluster analysis is able to observe the genetic relationship of goat breeds based on three traits. According to average linkage cluster analysis, we found four clusters for goat breeds in this study. With existing statistical approaches, we can evaluate genetic diversity in milk traits.

The article deals with the problem of negative mental States that occur in employees of internal Affairs bodies when performing professional tasks. The analysis of modern scientific research on the studied problem is carried out. As part of this study, a psychodiagnostic tool was developed and tested to study negative mental States in police officers. The authors studied the negative mental States of employees of internal Affairs agencies and based on the data obtained, conducted a factor analysis that allowed us to determine the main factors for the occurrence of these conditions. Next, a cluster analysis was conducted, which revealed three types of personality of ATS employees with negative mental States: resistant to the effects of negative mental States; little exposed to the effects of negative mental States; exposed to negative mental States. Thanks to the data obtained in the course of the pilot study, the prospects for studying this problem are determined. The set of research methods corresponds to the tasks set; the choice of mathematical statistics methods corresponds to the characteristics of the sample population and takes into account the features of the psychological experiment. The value of the research is to update the study of the problem of negative mental States as a factor of maladaptation of professional activity of police officers.

The purpose of the study is to identify the factors that determine the formation of a certain type of personality who has committed suicidal attempts at a young age. In order to identify the types of suicides, there was conducted a survey of 25 doctors in psychiatric clinical hospitals in Moscow. The survey results were processed using cluster analysis. To identify the factorial conditioning of suicidal behavior of each personality type, a complex of psychodiagnostic techniques was used, focused on the study of the characteristics of the emotional, value-semantic and behavioral spheres of the personality. The obtained empirical data were processed with the help of factor analysis. Between the ages of 24 and 35, common types of persons with suicidal tendencies are "protester" (negative attitudes toward life and its foundations, repeated attempts to prove oneself right with a high level of pretensions, and low level of development of abilities necessary for self-realization), "self-isolating" (a conviction of their failure and lack of right to life), "self-destructive" (excessive self-criticism and self-blaming).
