Abstrak: Teknologi komputasi awan saat ini sedang berkembang dengan pesat, hal ini tentunya dikarenakan keuntungan-keuntungan yang ditawarkan serta karakteristik layanannyayang menjadikan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi sebuah alat yang lebih efisiendan efektif. Dunia pendidikan yang sudah mulai banyak menggunakankomputasi awanataudisebut dengan pendidikan awan. Penelitian kali ini dilakukan dengan sebuah kajian analisispemanfaatan dari komputasi awan dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan yangberada di daerah-daerah pinggiran sesuai dengan program Nawacita dari Pemerintahan JokowiJK,pemenuhan21st century learning skills dan pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan.Dalam kajian ini memperlihatkan bahwa pendidikan menggunakan komputasi awantidakhanya menawarkan sebuah cara dan model pembelajaran baru yang bersifat out of box untukmenghilangkan permasalahan geografis dan ketidakmerataan sumber daya pendidikan yangada pada “daerah pinggiran”, akan tetapi lebih kepada upaya untuk membangun budaya barudalam belajar. Sehingga dalam rangka pengintegrasian teknologi komputasi awan ke dalamsistem pendidikan diperlukan peranan pemerintah melalui regulasi pendukung, mendukungperan dari PUSTEKKOM sebagai pusat pelayanan dan pembangunan budaya baru belajarmenggunakan teknologi komputasi awan. Abstract: Today the developing of cloud computing technology is arising, this is because of theadvantages that offering and service characteristic by cloud computing what makinginformation and communication technology as an effective and efficiency device. This is alsomaking education world starts to use cloud computing technology or we can call cloudeducation.This research will discuss about cloud education role to help increasing quality ofeducation, especially where at the edge areas as Nawa Cita of Jokowi-JK’s Government,21stcentury learning skills and education for sustainable development. In this study, educationusing cloud computing not only offers a new stance of learning and a new model of learningbut also solving problem with out of box way such as geographical obstacles and unbalanceeducational resources in “daerah pinggiran”, but rather to build a new culture of learning.So, in order to further integration of cloud computing to education system through governmentwith supporting regulation, supporting PUSTEKKOM as serviced central of cloud educationand preparing for a new stance of learning using cloud computing technology.

AbstrakTeknologi komputasi awan saat ini sedang berkembang dengan pesat, hal ini tentunya dikarenakan keuntungan-keuntungan yang ditawarkan serta karakteristik layanannya yang menjadikan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi sebuah alat yang lebih efisien dan efektif. Dunia pendidikan yang sudah mulai banyak menggunakankomputasi awanatau disebut dengan pendidikan awan. Penelitian kali ini dilakukan dengan sebuah kajian analisis pemanfaatan dari komputasi awan dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan yang berada di daerah-daerah pinggiran sesuai dengan program Nawacita dari Pemerintahan Jokowi-JK, pemenuhan 21st century learning skills dan pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan. Dalam kajian ini memperlihatkan bahwa pendidikan menggunakan komputasi awantidak hanya menawarkan sebuah cara dan model pembelajaran baru yang bersifat out of box untuk menghilangkan permasalahan geografis dan ketidakmerataan sumber daya pendidikan yang ada pada “daerah pinggiran”, akan tetapi lebih kepada upaya untuk membangun budaya baru dalam belajar. With the popularization and improvement of social and industrial IT development, information appears to explosively increase, and people put much higher expectations on the services of computing, communication and network. Today’s public communication network is developing in the direction that networks are widely interconnected using communication network infrastructure as backbone and Internet protocols; at the same time, cloud computing, a computing paradigm in the ascendant, provides new service modes. Communication technology has the trend of developing towards computing technology and applications, and computing technology and applications have the trend of stepping towards service orientation architecture. Communication technology and information technology truly comes to a convergence. Telecom operators are planning to be providers of comprehensive information services in succession. To adopt cloud computing technology not only facilitates the upgrade of their communication network technology, service platform and supporting systems, but also facilitates the construction of the infrastructure and operating capacity of providing comprehensive information services. In this paper, the development processes of public communication network and computing are reviewed along with some new concepts for cloud computing.

Cloud computing is the transformation of information and communication technology from client or server-based computers. Cloud computing technology benefits users no longer need to invest heavily in software or maintenance software applications. So by developing the Cloud, there is a Cloud gaming which is a process to install a remote interactive game in the cloud and issued in the form of video to the user's device via the internet. In this journal, we need a cloud gaming application called Skyegrid. This study aims to implement cloud-based mobile gaming cloud implementation using an open-source server (Skyegrid) to find out Resources, Service Quality and Experience Quality in this study. In this study Skyegrid is used to discuss some popular games, namely games called Rainbow Six Siege and Monster Hunter World. The result of this study is that Skyegrid's cloud gaming mobile system is able to implement PC games that can be run on Android smartphones and reduce the use of CPU and RAM resources, and use low cost using skyegrid cloud gaming using personal computers that require greater costs.

As a distributed computing technology, cloud computing has the characteristics of fast processing speed, large-capacity data processing, and high overall efficiency. With the continuous development of communication technology today, cloud computing technology has begun to be applied in various industries and has promoted the development and progress of the industry. As an important part of college education, ideological and political education in colleges and universities is also constantly developing. The integration of cloud computing and ideological and political education is the main trend in the future. At present, the application research of cloud computing and wireless communication technology in the ideological and political education of colleges and universities has obtained some results, but there are still some problems. Therefore, the research on innovative methods of ideological and political education is extremely important. At present, under the attention of all walks of life, scholars have strengthened the research on new paths of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, and they are also constantly experimenting with innovative methods. In this context, this paper studies the current situation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities through questionnaire surveys and analyzes the innovative mode of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the context of cloud computing through the K-means clustering algorithm model.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine university students’ attitudes towards the concept of sustainable development and towards the need for the implementation of education for sustainable development into the higher education system. To that end, the paper explores in a process-oriented focus which drivers and barriers are experienced as being the most important ones and how they relate to one another. Design/methodology/approach The study is based on the questionnaire for the evaluation of attitudes towards the concept of sustainable development. This instrument consists of 9 batteries with 83 items presented in the form of the five-point Likert scale. The questionnaire evaluated different aspects of respondents’ attitudes towards the concept of sustainable development, but students’ attitudes in relation to the items from the following subscales will be presented for this paper: understanding the concept of sustainable development, position of sustainable development in the system of higher education, sources of information about sustainable development and entities responsible for sustainable development. The study sample consisted of students from the University of Novi Sad, specifically from the faculties with accredited programs in the field of humanities and technological sciences. Findings In general, students recognized the main determinants of sustainable development and they support an integral approach to sustainability, i.e. the need to include the knowledge, values and skills for sustainable development in the higher education programs. In addition, they identified a number of obstacles and the uncertainties of overcoming them. In this regard, the students did not recognize the responsibility of the higher education institutions as the key responsibility or their own responsibility in relation to sustainable development, which can be related to their feeling of marginalization and the doubt that their behaviour and decisions can influence the development of the local society, as well as the development of the society as a whole. On the other hand, the respondents acknowledged the role, the importance and the responsibility of the mass media in the process of developing the attitudes towards and opinions about the problems related to environmental protection and sustainable development. Practical implications The results of the study indicate the students’ attitudes towards sustainable development, thus making the directions for higher education reform clearer and in line with the present needs for sustainable development in Serbia. The obtained results can serve as a recommendation to the governing structures, i.e. to the relevant ministries of education and environmental protection, as well as to the universities in terms of which direction their process of planning and creating paths of sustainability should take. This is particularly important in the case of the Republic of Serbia, which is currently in the process of joining the European Union and responding to the requirements set by the process of negotiation for Chapter 27 in terms of improving the strategic framework and plans for the education for sustainable development and building the capacities in response to climate change. On the other hand, linking the results of this research with the results of similar studies around the world contributes to the further enrichment of the scientific knowledge base in this field and confirms the need for stronger and united efforts on the path to a sustainable future. It is a fact that, regardless of the national, economic, socio-political and cultural context, there is a global lack of success in shaping a humane and sustainable relationship between man and nature. Therefore, the results of this research should be considered as an invitation for new research initiatives regarding the ways to support the positive attitudes of students towards the concept of sustainable development and to facilitate their further development in the educational process, as well as in other academic domains. Originality/value This research is inspired by the fact that, in the Balkan countries, education for sustainable development has not been extensively discussed within the scientific discourse on higher education for sustainable development. This is one of the first papers to provide data about students’ attitudes towards the concept of sustainable development and the need for its implementation in the higher education system in Serbia. The value of the paper lies in its potential to help understand the role that different drivers and barriers play in higher education for sustainable development.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to provide a case study of the establishment and development of a minor program in Sustainable Development in Tongji University, China, and how it contributes to embedding sustainable development into higher education system as an alternative platform for researchers and students to involve in a transdisciplinary teaching and learning process. Design/methodology/approach This case reviews the institutional setting and the different studying models and requirements for postgraduates and undergraduates. Postgraduate students have to take four core courses, select one module with four themed courses (4 + 4 fixed) and complete a transdisciplinary essay, and undergraduates can choose any three courses in all modules apart from the four core courses (4 + 3 open), with a transdisciplinary group project. Findings The development of the minor program reveals the popularity and decline of different modules, because of the popularity of the schools and institutes behind them, the university legacy and the media influence. The program design spurs transdisciplinary thinking on sustainable development but brings about challenges including time conflict with students’ major study. In conclusion, this program explores alternative education practices in embedding sustainable development in education system, contributing to and reflect on Education for Sustainable Development and the education reform in China. Originality/value The case presents a unique way of implementing Education for Sustainable Development in higher education system, in which minor education stands between formal and informal curriculum to tackle the barriers in undertaking sustainable development initiatives in curricula, through nurturing the culture and providing organizational support.
