In recent decades, linear communication has largely been replaced by visual depictions that contain not only moving images but also sound, text and other (visible or invisible) data. It is therefore not surprising that video has become so popular, especially among young people. So-called multimedia communication is transmitted via a variety of media. Since there are many ways and means of transmission, we wanted to investigate how the type of encoding that allows efficient file reduction affects the characteristics of the video format. For this purpose, we encoded selected videos using the three most common encoding mechanisms H.264/AVC, MPEG-2 and H.265/HEVC at high and medium bitrate. The newly created video files were then uploaded to three popular platforms – Instagram, YouTube and Gmail. Changes in file size, colour gamut, frame and bitrate, resolution and other visually recognizable details are presented in the paper.

Currently a low cost security system is needed and easy to apply especially at educational institutions that willimplement smart school and industry 4.0. Needed devices are raspberry pi and web camera. Raspberry pi willonly save moving images taken from the web camera. Because by storing an image whose file size is not toolarge will ease the performance of the server. In this study, a design for the raspberry pi based motion detectionsystem will be applied at SMK PGRI Sukodadi Lamongan Regency which has not have security system. Thissystem will save the file in the form of an image that will be put together into a moving image that looks like avideo that will displayed in a LED monitor.Keywords: smart school, motion detection, moving image.

Young people use the potentials of digital media to learn outside of school, for example through explanatory videos and tutorials. The use of such YouTube videos has long since found its way into everyday school life. However, it is entirely unclear how the (educational) market for explanatory videos and tutorials currently presents itself, especially to pupils since it is no longer shaped solely by semi-professional and amateurishly created moving images. In this article, we present the first data and findings of a market analysis of school-related explanatory videos and tutorials with their communicative embedding, and of a survey of ca. 700 secondary school students regarding their usage and motivation gathered for the BMBF-funded project "Digital extracurricular learning and education-related action practices of young people". We present a scope of forms these videos can take, show how differently knowledge and education are valued and how the students’ attention is increasingly treated as a good in business models.

This author deals with the attraction of that feeling of terror generated in the media, especially in cinema, and from the perspective of the controlled emotion behind that fear, pleasure and pain. What is the nature of the fear and pleasure the spectator feels? Why is it important for educators to take account of this connection between the viewer and the film? This subject is treated from film culture as experiecned by young Britons, with an analysis of the influence of cinema on the cultural lives of young people and the lessons that can be drawn. The author takes two young girls as an example, identifying their social identity and later outlining the state of education in cinema and the media. He presents two projects developed by young Britons on Psychosis and the creation of videogames. The author concludes that the fascinating world of moving images is open to us via films and videogames, by examining ludic structures and narratives and teaching students how these are interrelated and exploring their creative processes of production. El autor de este trabajo examina la atracción hacia el sentimiento de terror en los medios de comunicación, y especialmente en el cine, desde la perspectiva de la emoción contenida que genera el terror, lo angustioso y agradable… ¿Cuál es la naturaleza del miedo y el «placer» que se experimenta? ¿Por qué es importante que los educadores tengan en cuenta esta conexión que relaciona a los espectadores con la película? En este sentido, abordar el tema desde la perspectiva de la cultura cinematográfica de los jóvenes de Reino Unido, analizando la influencia del cine en la vida cultural de los jóvenes y cuál es la lección que deben obtener los educadores. Partiendo de una ejemplificación con dos chicas, en las que analiza sus identidades sociales, más tarde pasa a bosquejar la situación general de la educación en el cine y en los medios de comunicación, presentando brevemente dos investigaciones desarrolladas con jóvenes británicos sobre «Psicosis» y sobre creación de videojuegos. Concluye este autor que podemos introducirnos en el fascinante mundo de la imagen en movimiento a través de las películas y videojuegos, examinando las estructuras lúdicas y narrativas que existen, enseñando a los alumnos de qué forma se interrelacionan y explorando sus procesos creativos de producción.

The structure of insect salivary glands has been extensively investigated during the past decade; however, none have attempted scanning electron microscopy (SEM) in ultrastructural examinations of these secretory organs. This study correlates fine structure by means of SEM cryofractography with that of thin-sectioned epoxy embedded material observed by means of transmission electron microscopy (TEM).Salivary glands of Gromphadorhina portentosa were excised and immediately submerged in cold (4°C) paraformaldehyde-glutaraldehyde fixative1 for 2 hr, washed and post-fixed in 1 per cent 0s04 in phosphosphate buffer (4°C for 2 hr). After ethanolic dehydration half of the samples were embedded in Epon 812 for TEM and half cryofractured and subsequently critical point dried for SEM. Dried specimens were mounted on aluminum stubs and coated with approximately 150 Å of gold in a cold sputtering apparatus.Figure 1 shows a cryofractured plane through a salivary acinus revealing topographical relief of secretory vesicles.

The deleterious effect of post mortem degeneration results in a progressive loss of ultrastructural detail. This had led to reluctance (if not refusal) to examine autopsy material by means of transmission electron microscopy. Nevertheless, Johannesen has drawn attention to the fact that a sufficient amount of significant features may be preserved in order to enable the establishment of a definitive diagnosis, even on “graveyard” tissue.Routine histopathology of the autopsy organs of a woman of 78 showed the presence of a well circumscribed adenoma in the anterior lobe of the pituitary. The lesion came into close apposition to the pars intermedia. Its architecture was more compact and less vascular than that of the anterior lobe. However, there was some grouping of the cells in relation to blood vessels. The cells tended to be smaller, with a higher nucleocytoplasmic ratio. The cytoplasm showed a paucity of granules. In some of the cells, it was eosinophilic.
