Abstractthe paper continues the research started in the paper “Conception and fabrication using knowledge management principles”. The theoretical guidelines found in the mentioned paper crystallises at a practical level in an original product – a software solution. The proposed solution has as a central element notion concerning the design and manufacturing of straight axes in the automotive industry. The application field for the proposed example regards the educational area; the software guides the user by theoretical concepts, examples, problems through practical aspects concerning the design and manufacturing of a part belonging to the axes family specific to the automotive industry. The software was developed using the Access work environment.

Abstract In this paper we report on the application field of Dynamic Laser Stimulation (DLS) techniques to Integrated Circuit (IC) analysis. The effects of thermal and photoelectric laser stimulation on ICs are presented. Implementations, practical considerations and applications are presented for techniques based on functional tests like Soft Defect Localization (SDL) and Laser Assisted Device Alteration (LADA). A new methodology, Delay Variation Mapping (DVM), will also be presented and discussed.

Take the force feedback handle applied to the teleoperation of space robotic arm as a requirement. In order to improve users’ experience, we studied the automatic reset force of the handle. This paper proposes a springdamping model and applies it to the torque output of the motor to achieve a good reset of the handle, which is a new development of the application field of the automatic reset force model of the force feedback device. The experiment shows that the automatic reset force model has high accuracy when the handle returns to zero. In addition, through dynamic and reasonable adjustment of the stiffness coefficient and damping coefficient, it can meet the needs of different users for the automatic reset force of the force feedback handle.


Application field of UV light sources is getting larger at the last decades. Among the most widespread are high and medium pressure vacuum lamps. But there currently is a trend of moving away from using mercury both in household applications and manufacturing. This creates a necessity to conduct research and development for UV sources made and operating without Hg. Cathodoluminescent UV sources are in this category. One of the possible ways to create a viable UV anode phosphor is using quantum dots with needed spectral characteristics.

Functional Management of Economy This paper discusses the unknown before property of adapting systems which consists in that the adapting system may be operated without any information about its condition. It is necessary to know only some characteristics of its elements. It was found, however, that the economic methods of management have limited possibilities, it is impossible to regulate with their help all those parameters which are not involved in the process of exchange. Another, more universal, economic management method is provided. The economic method of management discussed in the paper enables one to separate the management of economy from labour-management relations and to expand the application field of mathematics in the field of management. The provided management method gives opportunity to get rid of centuries old bureaucracy because it enables one to substitute the considerable part of administrative - bureaucratic apparatus as well as many standard acts with one functional relationship.

It is well known the descriptor systems have a wide application field. Usually it appear as a mathematical model of a real problem, mainly the model that involves the input output relationship. It is well known that a descriptor linear system has an unique solution if the pencil matrix of the system is regular. However, there are some systems that are not regular. Moreover, even though the system is regular the solution can contain the noncausal behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to normalize the descriptor system so as it has well behavior. In this paper, we propose a feedback to normalize a discrete descriptor system under disturbance. Furthermore, we establish a sufficient condition in order for the discrete descriptor system under disturbance can be normalized positively.
