Qurban is an Islamic ritual that's carried out every year in an effort to get closer to Allah SWT. This study tried to explain about the committee and the management on sacrificial meat in Masjid Al-Irsyad Surabaya. The problem discussed in this study is the writer's curiosity to examine about the meaning behind the real Qurban event. Then the problem investigated is how the committee manages the Qurban meat in Masjid Al-Irsyad Surabaya. This study uses qualitative method. The Study is a descriptive type with data-collecting method, i.e. interview and documentation. In the data processing we use data triangulation with the aim to obtain the validity of the data obtained. Then, the data analysed starting with sorting the data, presenting the comprehensive data, and drawing conclusion from analysis results obtained. The result of this study analysed using event management theory and functional management in answering these problems. Then the goal of this study is to understand the committee and the Qurban meat processing through POAC management at Masjid Al-Irsyad Surabaya.Ibadah qurban merupakan ibadah yang dilaksanakan setiap tahun sebagai upaya untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Allah SWT. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk menggambarkan bagaimana kepanitiaan dan juga pengelolaan daging qurban di Masjid Al-Irsyad Surabaya. Adapun problem yang akan dibahas dalam skripsi ini adalah keingintahuan peneliti untuk mengkaji  mengenai makna dibalik peristiwa qurban yang sesungguhnya. Permasalahan yang kemudian akan peneliti cari jawabannya yaitu bagaimana manajemen kepanitiaan pengelolaan daging qurban di Masjid Al-Irsyad Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam pengolahan data menggunakan triangulasi data dengan tujuan untuk menguji keabsahan data yang diperoleh. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis dimulai dengan memilah-milah data, menyajikan data secara keseluruhan, kemudian menarik kesimpulan dari hasil analisis yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian ini menganalisis menggunakan teori manajemen event beserta fungsi manajemen dalam menjawab permasalah tersebut. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui kepanitiaan dan juga pengelolaan daging qurban melalui manjemen POAC yang ada di Masjid Al-Irsyad Surabaya.

Masjid memang mesti berkembang dinamis, ia tidak semestinya dibiarkan tanpa upaya perbaikan dan penyempurnaan. Inovasi tanpa henti selalu dibutuhkan agar masjid dapat senantiasa selaras dengan perkembangan zaman dan karenanya, tidak ditinggalkan umat.. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui optimalisasi fungsi-fungsi manajemen (planning, organizing, actuating, controlling) yang diterapkan oleh pengurus Masjid Istiqamah dalam sebuah organisasi kelembagaan serta melakukan berbagai kegiatan guna meningkatkan peran dan fungsi masjid. Manajemen masjid secara garis besar terbagi menjadi dua bidang; pertama, physical management dan kedua, functional management. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode deskriptif, melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti terlibat langsung melakukan penelitian di lokasi Masjid Istiqamah. Teknik penelitian yang ditempuh oleh peneliti untuk memperoleh data yang dibutuhkan dengan cara; observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan fungsi manajemen pada Masjid Istiqamah, yakni: Penerapan fungsi perencanaan pada setiap kegiatan dan program yang meliputi peramalan, penentuan sasaran, penjadwalan, pengganggaran dan penentuan prosedur kerja; Penerapan fungsi pengorganisasian yang meliputi pengorganisasian alat, pengelompokan kerja, penentuan dan pelimpahan tanggung jawab dan wewenang; Penerapan fungsi penggerakan pada Masjid Istiqamah yang meliputi pimpinan memberikan motivasi dan mengkoordinasi; Penerapan fungsi pengendalian yang meliputi pemimpin melakukan penilaian dan evaluasi pada setiap kegiatan maupun kepengurusan. Mosques must indeed develop dynamically, they should not be left without efforts to repair and perfect. Continuous innovation is always needed so that the mosque can always be in tune with the times and therefore, the people are not left behind. This research was conducted to determine the optimization of management functions (planning, organizing, actuating, controlling) implemented by Istiqamah Mosque administrators in an organization. institutions and carry out various activities to improve the role and function of the mosque Mosque management is broadly divided into two areas; first, physical management and second, functional management. The method used in this research is descriptive method, through a qualitative approach. Researchers were directly involved in conducting research at the Istiqamah Mosque location. Research techniques used by researchers to obtain the required data by means of; observation, interview, and documentation. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of management functions at the Istiqamah Mosque, namely: Implementation of planning functions in every activity and program which includes forecasting, targeting, scheduling, budgeting and determining work procedures; Implementation of the organizational function which includes organizing tools, grouping work, determining and delegating responsibilities and authorities; The implementation of the movement function at the Istiqamah Mosque which includes the leadership to provide motivation and coordination; The implementation of the control function, which includes the leader evaluating and evaluating each activity and management.

Background and Objectives: The structural diversity of an urban forest affects ecosystem service provision, and can inform management, planning, as well as policy. Trunk diameter at breast height (DBH) is amongst the most common measures of tree structure due to its ease of measurement and strong relationships with other structural and non-structural urban forest characteristics. Materials and Methods: In this study, the DBH distributions of urban forests are summarised for 38 American cities with a combined population of over 30 million people and a range of geographic, climatic, and demographic conditions. The Anderson–Darling (AD) test was used to test the hypothesis that all DBH distributions came from a common population. Moreover, structural diversity was compared using the Shannon–Wiener index. Results: The AD test results failed to identify any statistically significant differences in DBH distributions. However, qualitatively, the DBH distributions have two primary forms, which have important functional, management, and planning implications. The vast majority of cities have an exponentially inverse-proportional distribution, such that the proportion of trees in each successively larger DBH class decreases exponentially. The Shannon–Wiener index indicates an uneven DBH distribution in the cities with an exponentially inverse-proportional diameter distribution; these cities are dominated by trees in the smallest diameter class. Potential explanations for a large proportion of trees in the smallest diameter classes include a large number of small, naturally regenerating trees; a preference for smaller trees in urban areas; or a recent increase in tree planting efforts. Conclusions: Despite no statistical differences in DBH distributions for the 38 study cities, the functional, management, and planning implications will differ considerably.

Introduction. Qualitative functional support of management is an important prerequisite for the success of the organization in the market. Nowadays, the implementation of classical management functions has expanded its content and applied aspect of implementation. This is due to the speed of change in the exogenous and endogenous environments of organizations, their inertia, changing the worldview of the generations that make up the personnel basis of the functional management Goal. The goal of the publications is to analyze the current manifestations of the implementation of management functions, identify current management problems and the formation on this basis of the determination of strengthening the positive effects of functional management. Results. The work highlights the main new features of the implementation of the organization functions, planning, control and motivation. It is substantiated that the characteristic feature of the implementation of the organizational function is the gradual transition to decentralized organizational structures on the basis of adhocracy and holocracy. The priority role of the situational approach for full implementation of the strategy in the development of the organization is defined. New vectors of intra-organizational implementation of the control function have been outlined. It is established that the biggest transformational changes have undergone the function of motivation, which in case of its effective application includes internal organizational manifestations of socially responsible behavior of the organization and a gradual transition to the importance of balancing professional success and personal space. The conducted ABC-analysis allowed to rank the current managerial problems of modern management, to justify the feasibility of scientific research on algorithms for designing organizational structures, to actualize the need to further strengthen the internal value orientations of the organization as a prerequisite for increasing profitability and its share in a particular market.
