This study was carried out to determine the glycemic index of coconut-enriched gari which was fermented at various durations. A total of 18 apparently healthy subjects participated in the study. The determination of total carbohydrate, crude fibre and available carbohydrate, followed by glycemic index was performed on six samples of the coconut gari using the standard operating procedure. The coconut gari samples (48 hours fermentation) gave mean glycemic index values ranging from 81.96 ± 3.42 - 84.96 ± 4.90 while the 72 hours fermentation gave a mean range of 74.34 ± 2.24 – 82.04 ±5.40. The samples were subjected to statistical analysis using ANOVA and found to be non-significantly (p > 0.05) different when compared to each other. The low G.I rating observed in coconut gari fermented for 72 hours is an indication that the food may be good for consumption as a staple except with under some exceptional conditions. This study suggests that extensive fermentation of gari enriched with coconut could be nutritionally appropriate for diabetics.

<em>Murabahah financing product at PT. Pegadaian Syariah branch Landungsari Malang, Murabahah Logam Mulia untuk Investasi Abadi (MULIA) is defined as a gold trade financing in a cash or credit in accordance with Sharia laws. This research aims at exploring the determination process of profit margin and the implementation of Standard Operating Procedure in the practice of murabahah financing at PT. Pegadaian Syariah  branch of Landungsari Malang. This study uses qualitative method with two approaches. First, the researcher conducted an observation and in-depth interview to Strategi Bisnis Unit (SBU) assistant manager. The result of this study confirms that researcher get total of profit margin Rp. 85.414 in which there is administration cost Rp. 50.000, sales margin 2,5% Rp. 15.725, and installment margin 3,94% namely Rp. 24.783. Researcher get discount margin Rp. 5.094 that’s means net installment margin is Rp. 19.689. The determination of profit margin for murabahah financing has considered the terms of sharia laws by using consensus principle which is mentioned in Quran surah An Nisa verse 29. This verse explains that any transaction should not bother customers. With this basis, therefore, the practice of murabahah financing has been compatible with the regulations written on Standard Operating Procedure of the firm.</em>

Saraswatarishta is a herbo-mineral hydro alcoholic formulation prescribed for various memory and sleep related disorders as well as a brain tonic. It is a unique formulation where the presence of swarna during the fermentation process may be responsible to manifold the action of remaining herbal drugs. Though the formulation is prescribed widely and available in the market with different varieties, there is a lack of documentation regarding the standard operating procedure and quality of the product. In the present study, Saraswatarishta and Swarna Saraswatarishta were prepared following standard operating procedure. Both the formulations were subjected to physico-chemical tests and values were found within the normal limits of arishta preparation from Ayurvedic Pharmacopeia of India. The sample of Swarna Saraswatarishta was analysed to check the presence of swarna using the ICP-MS technique. It was found below the level of quantification which interprets the absence of swarna in the formulation. This is the first and foremost report regarding the presence of Swarna in Swarna Saraswatarishta.

As a socio-cultural product of Banjar society, Ramadhan seasonal market, which coincided with the month of Ramadhan is a socio-cultural phenomena that reflects the religiosity of society, especially in Amuntai, Hulu Sungai Utara. Along with the globalization influencing Muslim countries, it’s reflecting the cultural change in society of Amuntai, known as Bertakwa City which is the cultural basis of social organization Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah. Here, Regulation of Hulu Sungai Utara District No. 32 Year 2013 on the Prevention and Prohibition of Staining Activities in the sacred month of Ramadhan was made to ensure peace and order during the month of Ramadhan.In implementation, it’s constrained by low awareness of the traders / buyers as a target group in addition to the lack of enforcement of sanctions explicitly and the absence of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that also affect the level of performance of the Civil Service Police Unit. In addition, limited land for Ramadan Market location in Jalan Basuki Rahmat resulted in the closure of the road and not the concentration of the traders of food / drinks.To improve the effectiveness of the implementation, it should be carried out intensive monitoring and integrated by forces civil service police unit especially with respect to hours of selling food / drinks during the day in Ramadan seasonal market and in other similar locations, the settings related to the traders cake / small snacks in the market daily / weekly complemented by the determination of the location of Ramadan more representative markets in the coming years by the authorities. In the meantime, it takes continuous socialization coupled with enforcement of sanctions explicitly that all of the stages refers to a set of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

Standard operating procedures or commonly called SOPs are important things that every company must have and must be a guide in carrying out work activities by all waiters and waiters at In Bloom Restaurant Hotel Ayaartta Malioboro Yogyakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach method, using data from questionnaires and uncovering problems in the form of numerical scores, which are then processed and tested by statistical analysis techniques in an effort to reveal the performance and effectiveness of SOP implementation in carrying out tasks at Bloom's Restaurant.

The aim of this article is to analyze internal control in service company. The analyze used the components of internal control according to COSO: control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, monitoring. Analysis of internal control used the data obtained through observation, questionnaires, interview, and documentary. Based on this analysis results can be concluded, that the dual positions refer with company SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). Separation of task does not work because that the dual positions. Therefore, the component of control activities applied at company is not in accordance with the component of control activities according to COSO. Nonconformity components still results in very effective internal control because the purpose of the internal control still remains to be achieved even though there are components that are not in accordance with the internal control components according to COSO.
