This paper presents a method to calibrate pipe friction factor in oilfield water injection pipeline based on genetic algorithm. For the shortcoming, of basic genetic algorithms, genetic algorithm is made the corresponding improvements, this algorithm is improved global searching capability. Finally, a practical example verified the feasibility of the presented method.

An aerobic, moderately halophilic, Gram-negative, motile, non-sporulating bacterium, strain LIT2T, was isolated from an oilfield-water injection after enrichment on crude oil. Strain LIT2T grew between 15 and 45 °C and optimally at 37 °C. It grew in the presence of 1–25 % (w/v) NaCl, with an optimum at 10 % (w/v) NaCl. Predominant fatty acids were C16 : 0 (26.9 %), C18 : 1 ω7c (22.6 %), C16 : 1 ω7c (20.4 %) C19 : 0 cyclo ω8c (10.9 %) and C17 : 0 (8 %). Interestingly, the relative percentages of these last two fatty acids were intermediate compared with most species among the family Halomonadaceae for which fatty acid composition has been determined. The DNA G+C content was 53.7 mol%, which is very low among the family Halomonadaceae. Strain LIT2T exhibited 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity values of 94.06–95.15 % to members of the genus Chromohalobacter, 94.21–94.65 % to members of the genus Halomonas and 93.57 % with the single species representative of the genus Cobetia. Based on the phylogenetic and phenotypic evidence presented in this paper, we propose the name Modicisalibacter tunisiensis gen. nov., sp. nov. to accommodate strain LIT2T. The type strain of Modicisalibacter tunisiensis is LIT2T (=CCUG 52917T =CIP 109206T). A reassignment of the descriptive 16S rRNA signature characteristics of the family Halomonadaceae permitted placement of the new genus Modicisalibacter into the family.

The Qijia oilfield is a low permeability reservoir, and it is difficult to inject water. For improving the water injection capability of Qijia oilfield, the experiments of water sensitivity and scaling evaluation are developed, and so on. But these experiments are the evaluation about single element. The actual situation of reservoir is not reflected accurately by this way. For determining the main element of water injection difficulty in Qijia oilfield, the experiment of core scaling after water sensitivity is carried on. It is known that the damage ratio to the permeability of core scaling after water sensitivity is more than the simplex scaling through comparing this experiment to the simplex scaling experiment. The reason is that the sloughed clay granule is existed in core after water sensitivity, and the new crystal nucleus is provided for scaling crystal. At the same, the inside wall of core porous channel is becoming coarse, the contact area is increased with the fluid, and it is instrumental for the adhesion and deposition of scale.

Graphite oxide sheet, now referred to as graphene oxide (GO), is the product of chemical exfoliation of graphite and has been known for more than a century. A GO sheet is characterized by two abruptly different length scales; the apparent thickness of the functionalized carbon sheet is approximately 1 nm, but the lateral dimensions can range from a few nanometers to micrometers. In this paper, an improved method for the preparation of graphene oxide within a mild condition is described. We have found that cancelling the high-temperature stage and prolonging the reaction time of mid-temperature can improve the efficiency of oxidation process. We utilized FTIR, XRD, Ultraviolet-visible, TGA, Raman spectrum, and XPS measurements to characterize the successfully synthesized GO. SEM images were employed to reveal the interior microstructure of as-prepared GO dispersion. We also wondrously found that the GO dispersion could be used as profile control agent in the oilfield water-flooding. Flooding experiments showed that the GO dispersion has an ability to adjust water injection profile, reduce permeability ratio, and improve conformance factor. So the GO dispersion would have potential applications in oilfield exploitation.
