This study aims to study the effect of and psychological well-being on job performance through work involvement in bank employees in Surabaya. This study uses a type of causality research that uses quantitative. Sampling technique using accidental sampling. Amount of respondents is 81 bank employees in Surabaya. The statistical analysis in this study is used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of Smart PLS 3.2.9 software. The results showed that Self-esteem was not a significant positive effect on job performance. Self-esteem has a positive and significant effect on work engagement. The psychological well being did not have a positive effect on job performance. Psychological well being has a positive and significant effect on work engagement; work engagement has a positive and significant effect on job performance, has an indirect effect on job performance through work engagement, psychological well being has an indirect effect on job performance through work engagement.

Work engagement has a contribution to the success of an organization. Governmental institutions are often criticized for showing less satisfying performance and less effective services due to the misconducts of the civil servants such as coming late to work, leaving at working hours, and being less enthusiastic at work. This study aimed to examine civil servants' working conditions using three variables, namely leader-member exchange, psychological well-being, and work engagement. The measuring tools used referred to the Leader-Member Exchange Multidimensional (Liden & Maslyn, 1998), Psychological Well-being Scale (Ryff, 1989) and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (Schaufeli & Bakker, 2004). There were 80 civil servants involved in this study as the subjects. They were selected using simple random sampling technique. Statistical techniques used in this study Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with Warp PLS 5.0 Software. The result indicated that the three variables had a positive correlation with one another, and psychological well-being mediated the influence of leader-member exchange on work engagement.

Abstract Background The popularity of genital cosmetic procedures in women is increasing. These procedures are often assumed and promoted as having a positive effect on women’s psychological well-being, particularly their self-esteem. Empirical support for these claims is lacking. Objectives The aim of this study was to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis of the impact of genital cosmetic procedures on self-esteem in women. Methods The authors performed a systematic literature review of MEDLINE, PreMEDLINE, Ebase, EMBASE, OVID, CINAHL, Cochrane, PsycINFO, and PubMed to identify articles that measured self-esteem in women after a genital cosmetic procedure. A meta-analysis was conducted to assess the pooled effect of these procedures on self-esteem. Results The authors identified 5 eligible studies for the meta-analysis, comprising 2 prospective and 3 retrospective studies. Labia minora reduction was the most commonly studied procedure. All 5 studies used different measures of self-esteem, with only 1 study employing a validated psychometric measure at both preoperative and postoperative time points. The meta-analysis results showed a pooled logit rate estimate of 1.230, indicating a positive effect of surgery on self-esteem. However, there was substantial heterogeneity across studies. Conclusions Female genital cosmetic procedures, particularly labiaplasty, appear to have a positive effect on women’s self-esteem. However, inconsistencies in study measures and methods limit our conclusions. Future research should involve the development of standardized outcome measures to more accurately assess the impact of these procedures on self-esteem, and on psychological well-being more generally. The main purpose of the study is to examine the relationship of organizational dissent with personal values and psychological well-being. The research data were collected from 272 employees of various public institutions in the province of Kocaeli through a questionnaire. Relationships between variables were analyzed using structural equation model. According to results of the study; self-enhancement has a positive effect on displaced dissent; openness to change has a positive effect on articulated dissent and displaced dissent and, self-transcendence has a positive effect on latent dissent. In addition, the articulated dissent has a positive effect on psychological well-being. So, this study presents important results about the individual antecedents and consequences of organizational dissent.

This study aims to analyze the effect of psychological well-being and psychological empowerment on job satisfaction in institutions x. The sampling technique uses saturated samples with a total of 36 educators working under 10 years. This type of research is quantitative research. The statistical analysis used in this study is the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) with the help of SPSS IBM Version 20.0 software. The results of this study indicate that psychological well-being has no significant effect on job satisfaction. But psychological empowerment has a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction, and psychological well-being and psychological empowerment have a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction. Objectives: To examine self-esteem in college students who participate in physical education (PE), the influence of psychological trends on self-esteem, and the possible influence of passion. Motivations: This study aims to determine whether passion affects participants’ self-esteem and psychological well-being. Methods: Subjects included 183 students enrolled in university PE classes (46 men and 137 women) with an average age of 19.58 (SD = 6.19). Self-esteem, passion, and psychological well-being were measured using a fuzzy questionnaire and descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling were performed through fuzzy statistical analysis. Findings: 1. The self-esteem, passion, and psychological well-being scales had good reliability and validity. 2. The model’s dimensional goodness of fit was satisfactory (χ2 = 281.601(182) = 1.952, GFI = 0.863, AGFI = 0.821, RMSEA = 0.072, SRMR = 0.649, TLI [NNFI] = 0.918, IFI = 0.925, CFI = 0.942). 3. Passion had a direct influence on well-being and an indirect influence on self-esteem. Well-being had a direct influence on self-esteem. Innovations: The passion scale and psychological well-being scale were confirmed to have good reliability and validity. The new method of fuzzy statistical analysis used in this study provides new research techniques for investigation and research into psychological trends in the field of sports. Value: In the teaching process, PE teachers should encourage students’ passion for participation to better their psychological well-being and self-esteem.

A beginning teacher is someone who has just started his/her career as a teacher or someone who has just graduated from college and is working as a teacher. This transition from student to worker (as a teacher) is a critical period since it is often associated with stress (Dicke et al., 2015; Smith and Ingersoll 2004). This study examines the relationship between stress exposure (seen from stress exposure in class and outside class) and the psychological well-being of beginning teachers (seen from work enthusiasm and emotional exhaustion). This study is conducted on 325 beginning teachers of senior high schools in Malang as samples collected using a random sampling technique. The data are analyzed by using a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that stress exposure in class and outside class has negative effect on work enthusiasm but, on the other hand, had positive effect on emotional exhaustion. This shows that stress exposure has significant effects on beginning teachers’ psychological well-being.

Turnover is a big issue for an organization, leading to the loss of talent and financial costs based on the organization’s investment in human capital and decreased productivity. In this research, we examined the impact of three HR practices on employee well-being, job performance and turnover intentions in professional workers at PT ABC. Employee well-being in this study involved two perspectives: psychological well-being and physical well-being. This study also examined the impact of employee well-being on retention. The study was conducted in a subcontractor company in the telecommunication industry in Indonesia. This study included 283 professional workers who were considered critical people in ensuring quality service. HR practices had a negative effect on turnover intention and a positive effect on job performance. HR practices did not influence either psychological well-being or physical well-being.
