The aim of this study is to analyze the general behavior and indebtedness of Tocantins State in Brazil, between the years 2000 and 2018. In order to reach the results, short-and long-term indicators of debt, as well as the behavior of the indebtedness are estimated. Data were collected from government account, extracted from the sites of the Audit Office of National Treasury Secretary and from the Estate Secretary of Tocantins. This paper is grounded on Agency Theory applied to public sector, and on descriptive statistics techniques by means of dispersion measures. Results show trends in behavior of public indebtedness in Tocantins. The first and second ones reveal tendency to decrease in the second half of the year, and to increase in the first half of the year, depicting a larger debt than the State paying capacity. The second and third trends, although distinct indicators, converge due to the increase of the debt indicators between 2014 and 2015. Keywords: Indebtedness, Indicators, Public Account, Tax Liability Law, Tocantins.

With the rapid change of the macro environmental factors, the operations and organizations of Taiwan's overall construction industry have also been greatly affected, and in retrospect, the publicly-listed construction companies in Taiwan have often encountered the phenomenon of Bermuda Effect of Real Estate. Hence, can good product planning and design adapt to the above-mentioned adverse environmental changes? The main purposes of this study are to verify the impact of Product- Planning-and Design on Financial Performance with Macro Environmental Factors as an intervening variable for the publicly-listed construction companies in Taiwan; besides, the directors or above of Taiwan publicly-listed construction companies as the research interview object, and this study uses the database of Taiwan Economic Journal (TEJ) to obtain the company's EPS information and adopts Purposive sampling to sample the population. In addition, this study firstly establishes the SEM model and then verifies the fitting effect of the Structural model, Measurement model and Whole model. These Findings Show that as Below • Product Planning and Design (PD) has a positive impact on Financial Performance (FP), but not significant; • Macro Environmental Factors (ME) have a positive impact on Financial Performance (FP), but not significant; and • Product Planning and Design (PD) and Macro Environmental Factors (ME), both of which have a positive interactive effect on Financial Performance (FP), but not significant. This implies that Macro Environmental Factors (ME) plays an important role in promoting Financial Performance (FP), which is also influenced by other factors. Keywords: Product Planning and Design (PD), Macro Environmental Factors (ME), Financial Performance (FP).

In this paper author has tried to find out the factors hampering the development of Tourism sector in India. Author has used the extensive literature survey in order to find out the factors affecting tourism sector. For the smooth development of the tourism sector these factors need to be sorted out but in real life all of the factors can’t be sorted as it requires huge investment and would lead to mismanagement of funds. So bringing this thing into concern creator has utilized a conventional procedure where numerous approaches are vieing for consideration for example Pareto Analysis. Pareto Analysis is an innovative perspective on of issues since it animates thinking and sort out musings. This system encourages creator to distinguish the main 20 percent of makes that requirements be routed to determine the 80 percent of the issues. The estimation of the Pareto Principle for creator is that it reminds you to concentrate on the 20 percent of things that issue. of the things you do during your venture, just 20 percent are extremely significant. Those 20 percent produce 80 percent of your outcomes. Recognize and spotlight on those things first, however don't thoroughly overlook the staying 80 percent of causes. Author has used a self-designed questionnaire to detect the frequency of all important causes that hampers the development of Tourism sector from a group of 100 respondents from Dehradun. By plotting the response of the respondents on Pareto Chart author has tried to find out and has detected the most important factors that requires immediate concern to speed up the development of tourism sector. We aim to verify if there is an association between the level of corruption and the lethality on countries due to COVID-19 pandemic. Previous studies provide evidence that corruption can harm health outcomes, especially in developing and under-developing countries where resources are already scarce. We apply a strictly quantitative approach using dispersion graphics analysis and Pearson’s correlation on 171 countries. On countries from America, Africa, Asia and Oceania we observed that as more corrupt the country, higher its lethality, although in Europe this association is inverted. We attribute this last result to the continent possess the elderly population among other continents, the fact that countries loosened to earlier measures of physical distancing and cases of corruption were reported in some countries with a low perception of corruption. Therefore, corruption remains an issue that needs more understanding so we can decrease its effects on health outcomes and save lives, particularly in countries with weak healthcare systems. Besides, the next pandemic is coming and we need to be prepared. Keywords: Corruption, Healthcare system, Health outcomes, COVID-19, Lethality.

Trade and manufacturing have gained momentum in economic debates across Africa as of late. In particular, this study attempts to shed light on the impact of trade openness on manufacturing in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Using a dual comparative approach made of vector auto-regression (VAR) and general method of moments (GMM) applied to 36 countries, results indicate that trade openness impedes the development of manufacturing. The negative effect of trade openness, which remains very limited in scope notwithstanding, underscores an essential feature regarding the entire manufacturing sector in SSA. Indeed, the idiosyncrasies of this sector – namely, underdevelopment, nascent industries and lack of diversification, among others − severely undermine the resilience of countries in SSA as they face heightened international competition. Keywords: Trade openness, Manufacturing, Sub-Sahara Africa, Vector auto regression. JEL Classification: F14, F41, F60
