The implementation of the May presidential decree aimed at Russia’s joining the top five global economies and achieving economic growth rates above the world’s average while maintaining macroeconomic stability requires a highly developed and efficient stock market ensuring the accumulation of capital and its deployment in the most promising and productive sectors of the economy. The subject of the research is timing anomalies in the Russian stock market in 2012–2018. The relevance of the research is due to the information inefficiency of the Russian stock market and its imperfections leading to significant price deviations from the «fair» value of assets and depriving investors of the opportunity to form various strategies for deriving additional revenues not related to fundamental economic factors and objective processes occurring in the global and local economies and the economy of an individual business entity. Based on the trend analysis of the Broad Market USD Index (RUBMI), the paper demonstrates a methodology for simulating the analysis of price anomalies on large arrays of real data using statistical data processing methods and modern information technologies. The paper concludes that though the Russian stock market lacks even the weak form of efficiency, such well-known timing anomalies as the “day-of-the-week” effect and the “month” effect have not been observed in the recent years. Therefore, investors could not use these anomalies to derive regular revenues above the market average.

The objectives of the research were to make land suitability map for sugarcane plant (Saccharum officinarum), to give recommendation of location including area for sugarcane plant cultivation and to increase sugarcane plant productivity. The research used maps overlay and Geographical Information System (GIS) which used Arch-View Spatial Analysis version 2,0 A in Remote Sensing Laboratory, Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), Jakarta. The research was carried out in Tegal Regency starting from June to October 2004.The results of the research showed that the suitable, conditionally suitable, and not suitable land for sugarcane cultivation in Tegal Regency reached to a high of 20,227 ha, 144 ha, and 81,599 ha respectively. There were six most dominant kind of soil: alluvial (32,735 ha), grumosol 5,760 ha), mediteran (17,067 ha), latosol   (18,595 ha), glei humus (596 ha), and regosol (22,721 ha).

Analyzed the accounting treatment of exchange rate differences, it is shown that their records depend on the period. Examples of currency monetary and non-monetary accounting items and the specifics of their reflection in accounting transactions are given. Monetary assets and liabilities are recorded at the exchange rate at the date of recognition. The option of recognition at the reporting date is possible. Non-monetary assets and liabilities are recognized at the date of recognition and are no longer restated. An example of accounting for non-monetary assets accepted by an institution at fair value as an exception to their rules is given. The article reflects that the revaluation of such assets at the new exchange rate is made in cases when the fair value of the object changes. It shows the mechanisms for accounting for the return of advances in foreign currency and options when such debt is recalculated or not recalculated after being accepted for accounting.
