PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to bare the peculiarities and challenges of the dual training (DT) of the future primary school teachers in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The above-mentioned problem is quite urgent, as the system of VET and DT is a rather new experience for Kazakhstani system of higher education. Thereby, the paper makes an effort to demonstrate the forms of organization of DT at teachers’ training university.Design/methodology/approachThe instruments for gathering information (data) for this study were various primary school teachers’ training curricula adopted by Kazakh State Women’s Teacher Training University; in particular, curricula of teaching practice. Various types of teaching practice during the entire learning period are provided by the state educational standards of higher professional education. Therefore, the research utilized a retrospective analysis that allows identifying the nature and specifics of the primary school teachers’ training curricula.FindingsThe paper points out the necessity to strengthen practical orientation of future primary school teacher through the synthesis of academic and educational processes (in school). It also presents the differences between the organization of teaching practice based on traditional and dual approach.Originality/valueThe authors suggest project curriculum of continuous teaching practice during the entire learning process on the example of the specialty 5B010200 Pedagogy and methodology of primary education in the context of DT and some results of its implementation.

The article reveals innovative experience in the study of projective technologies in the training of primary school teachers in the general education system. In the practical part of the study, relevance of training primary school teachers to the use of wide opportunities in teaching children on the basis of new system values that orient themselves to a self-developing pupil who is able to flexibly use changing component life activities at a new level is substantiated. It also actualizes the need to study and use the experience of foreign countries, taking into account the specifics of domestic realities, and to make a comparative analysis of the theory, methodology and organization of future primary school teachers training in the context of modernization of the education system in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The primary education system is recognized as one of the most important priorities of the long-term Strategy «Kazakhstan – 2050».

One of the problems of primary school teachers’ training in postgraduate education is to prove the guidelines vector of teaching activities on the development of creative abilities of every child. From the early school years it is necessary to enhance the student’s tendency to creative performance with new creative and intellectual abilities and effective methodologies. The realia of the new millennium requires the activation of personality’s creative potential, creative activity of primary school students, creating psychological and pedagogical conditions for their professional self-expression and creative fulfillment.The aim of the article is to analyze the content of primary school teachers’ training on the development of primary school students’ creative potential in postgraduate education.The content of primary school teachers’ training for the creative potential development of primary school students during training courses in postgraduate teachers’ education complies with such features as: concentric (allows to establish a connection between the known and the unknown, to develop, enhance, organize teachers’ ideas on the types and methods of the development of primary school students’ creative abilities); transfer from simple to complex in teaching of adults, from the known to the unknown or little known (makes it possible to gradually expand, enrich the content of each topic); the relationship of learning content during training courses with practical activities in primary school (includes visiting methodologist teachers’ lessons at schools); providing students with positive motivation during learning to fix the interest in the development of primary pupils’ creative activity in the classroom; interdependence of methods and techniques of training (for their efficient optimal combination in different learning situations).Thus, the content of primary school teachers’ training to the development of primary school students’ creative potential in postgraduate education combines didactic, andragogical and psychological foundations of teachers’ education as a particular category of working adults. In the long term we shall search pedagogical conditions of training.

The task of vocational education at the present stage of development of society is to train competitive professionals with professional mobility, skills of rapid adaptation to changing conditions of society, methods of self-education, improving the quality of their own professional activities and its product. The article analyzes the modern model of practical training of teachers, namely: future educators of preschool education and primary school teachers in the educational process of the Pedagogical Institute of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The current modernization of the domestic education system creates increased requirements for the quality of training of modern teachers, which is not only to modernize the content of profile-oriented disciplines, but also requires appropriate organization of various types of pedagogical practice. The authors investigate various aspects of training future teachers to carry out professional activities in preschool and primary schools. In particular, the activities of the Center for Self-Knowledge and Self-Development, the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies (ICR), the Educational Laboratory of Creative Pedagogy are substantiated, providing a combination of scientific achievements and practice in the educational process. It is in the process of training in these centers that students have the opportunity to model different components of future pedagogical activities and choose different ways to solve them given the proposed features of the pedagogical situation, which will further contribute to the formation of future teachers holistic perception of professional activity. all participants in the educational process, the ability to make independent decisions and respond quickly to the challenges of everyday teaching. The peculiarities of students’ work in the centers in classroom and extracurricular classes are revealed, in the process of which future preschool educators and primary school teachers have the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary projects, trainings, master innovative and digital teaching tools. component of the educational process and ensures the competitiveness of young professionals. The article identifies tools for information and educational environment that should be used in working with students (STEAM-education, storytelling, kahoot, answergarden), which will promote the development of future teachers’ ability to self-presentation, the effective formation of their professional competence. The article deals with the conceptual provisions of innovative pedagogical technology of teaching mathematics to primary school students «Daily 3», which considers students' interest in mathematics, developing their skills of independence, ability to work in a team and communicate by engaging in various activities. Theoretical principles of conducting mathematics independently, mathematics with a friend and mathematics writing are revealed. The generalized algorithm of conducting «Daily 3» is given and the structure of such lesson is presented. Factors that prevent the full implementation of the technology «Daily 3» in Ukrainian primary schools are analyzed. The optimal way of future primary school teachers training for realization of this technology is offered. It consists in considering within the discipline «Methods of teaching the educational field of mathematics» its elements, and while studying the discipline of free choice «Methods of teaching mathematics: technological approach» detailed disclosure of didactic and methodological foundations of mathematics independently, mathematics with a friend and mathematics in writing.

The author substantiates the relevance and significance of the study both for improving the level of professionalism of future primary school teachers, and for improving the learning process of younger students. The author conducted a theoretical analysis of the concepts of "speech activity", "readiness for professional activity", "readiness for organizing speech activity", and "pedagogical conditions". The author considers the readiness to organize speech activity as a complex of psychological and pedagogical knowledge about speech development, skills for studying the features of speech activity, and the use of these data in the pedagogical process of primary school. The article presents the results of a survey of students in order to identify ideas about the readiness of students to organize speech activity, and reveals the pedagogical conditions for its formation. Based on the theoretical analysis of sources and survey results, the author draws conclusions
