Oil field produced water with a high fl ow rate usually contains suspended solid, such as corrosion, scale, bacteria, clay, wax, and oil residue. Biocide is used to reduce viability of bacteria cell in produced water reused for produced water reinjection into oil reservoir. The objectives of this study is to examine anti bacteria activity of fi ve active compound biocides i.e. Glutaraldehide (Biocide-1), Aldehyde-Based and Surfactants (Biocide-2), Glutaraldehyde, Quartenary Ammonium Compounds (Biocide-3), Tetrakis Phosphonium Hydroxymethyl Sulfate (Biocide-4), and Amine Aldehide (Biocide-5) for reduced bacteria cell in produced water in this fi eld. Resulted in this study is general aerobic bacteria group is high contamination at the produced water reinjection. Bacteria isolates identifi ed is Bacillus sp (2 types of isolates) and Pseudomonas alcaligenes. The type of Biocides-2 and Biocide-3 reduced the number of bacteria cells maximal at a concentration of 200 ppm.Oil field produced water with a high fl ow rate usually contains suspended solid, such as corrosion, scale, bacteria, clay, wax, and oil residue. Abstract Oil and gas sectors generate large amounts of oily wastewater, which is called produced water. In which, it contains high concentrations of hazardous organic and inorganic pollutants. This paper attempts to evaluate the performance and quality of using a polyethersulfone ultrafiltration membrane (UFM) to treat the produced water of Al-Ahdab oil field (Wassit, Iraq). 8 rectangular flat sheets of polyethersulfone ultrafiltration membrane were used. The area of each is 60 cm2 and pore size about 15 nm used in the experimental work. Prepared UFM is characterized by determining the surface morphology by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The result showed that the UFM indicated high removal efficiency in all parameters and especially oil and grease and total suspended solid but in general it still less than the requirement of water reuse. The results showed that, a combination of a conventional treatment method and UFM technology have higher efficiency than using UFM only.

The results of a comprehensive analysis of geological and field information are presented in order to assess changes in the hydrogeochemical field of the oil reservoir of the U horizon of the Verkh-Tarskoye oil field during its development in the period from 1994 to 2021. The main production facility is at the IV stage of declining production. The water cut of the production wells stock reaches 98% with cumulative production of 14.86 million tons (as of May 1, 2021). Since 2015, there has been an increase in the TDS of produced water, which is explained by the processes of their mixing with circuit waters along the periphery of the reservoir with a decrease in reservoir pressure and more saline waters of the U horizon, supplied during joint operation.

Currently, inhibitory protection is one of the most effective and common methods of protecting the inner surface of oil field equipment from corrosion. The work explores the mechanism of protective action of new inhibitors based on quaternary ammonium compounds and assesses feasibility of their practical application in oil fields of OJSC Surgutneftegas. Studies were conducted on samples made of pipe steels A 568M, A 516-55 and 13CrV (rus 13ХФА) in a model produced water solution. Three corrosion inhibitors were tested. Parameters of the mechanism of protective action of reagents were determined by potentiodynamic analysis.

China is rich in resources of heavy oil.But some oilfield heavy oil reservoir in the development process will encounter interlining, affecting the development effect. In the process of SAGD to carry out the basic research of reservoir interlayer is helpful to identify the basic attributes of reservoir in the interlayer. The interlayer of SAGD development process is helpful to find the study focus and direction of development. Steam chamber breakthrough research achievements of interlining research abroad, summarizes the steam chamber breakthrough interlining, provide technical support for the oil field SAGD breakthrough interlining, it is of great significance for promoting SAGD efficient development.

Abstract In this paper the simplified way is proposed for predicting the dynamics of liquid production and estimating the parameters of the oil reservoir using diagnostic curves, which are a generalization of analytical approaches, partially compared with the results of calculations on 3D simulation models and with actual well production data.
