The permanent magnet type DC motors are used in various applications as heater, wiper. DC motors are any of a class of electrical machines that converts direct current electrical power into mechanical power. The DC motor has important role in moving machine because of mostly use in the industry appliances. The speed control of DC motor is increasingly getting sophisticated and precise. In this paper we are studying about maximum R.P.M. of Permanent Magnet DC Motor. In this way we are using the regulator circuit and 1Amp. 2 Amp. 3Amp. With different voltages. R.P.M. of D.C. motor is measured by the digital type tachometer. The D.C. power supplies are obtaining by the rectifier circuit and also used the step down transformer.

In this paper, the design and performance investigation of the permanent magnet machines have been done to increase the mechanical and electrical outputs improvement of the systems. A permanent magnet Dc motor (PMDM) and generator (PMDG) have been modelled and designed to improve the angular position and generated current respectively. In this work, augmentation based H 2 optimal and H infinity synthesis controllers have been designed as a controller for the two systems and a comparison between the proposed controller for tracking a reference inputs and a promising results have been obtained.

A PC based speed control system of a PMDC motor using PID controller with the help of Data Acquisition System has been designed in order to control the process variable to achieve the most efficient control in the plant operation. The proposed PID controller has been tested with a process plant analogue and implemented it, in the speed control system of a PMDC motor and voltage control system of a DC generator where DC motor is coupled as a prime mover. The characteristics of the proposed controller along with process plant analogue have been studied. The speed control characteristic of the DC motor with the controller set point and load characteristics of the DC generator with and without this controller have been determined experimentally and reported in this paper.
