This research aims to determine the improvement of beginning skill through big book media on the students of class I SDN 24 Temmalebba Palopo city. This research uses the qualitative and quantitative approach with Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is designed through two cycles. Research subjects, students of SDN 24 Temmalebba class I which amounted to 28 students. Data collection techniques used, namely observation, documentation, and tests. The research data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive statistic formula (percentage) to express descriptively the research result. Furthermore, to discuss and explain the results of research that is quantitative descriptive then used the technique of data reduction analysis, data presentation, and drawing a conclusion. The research results found that in precycle stage, with the average value of reading skill beginning is 51,5 with mastery learning classical 25%. After implementing the learning by applying the big book media, in the first cycle, the average score of reading skill is 66.71 students with 57.14% classical learning completeness. Furthermore, in cycle II with the average score of simple writing skill is 75.21 with 89.28% classical learning completeness. Thus, the initial reading skill in class I SDN 24 Temmalebba Palopo City by applying the big book media conducted from the first cycle to the 2 show significant results. Therefore, the big book media needs to be referenced by the teacher in the activity.

This research is motivated by the low listening skill of class I SDN 006 Bencah Kelubi Kampar. The purpose ofthis research is to improve the listening skill of children's story of grade 1 SDN 006 Bencah Kelubi Kamparthrough the use of audio visual media. This research was conducted at SDN 006 Bencah Kelubi KamparDistrict, The subject of research is the first grade students with the number of students as many as 28 people.The form of research is classroom action research. The research instrument is a test of story listening skills. Theresults of the average score of students' reading skill increased from 66.8 to 72.3 and increased to 73.8 thenincreased to 77.1, and increased again to 83.6. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the use ofaudio visual media can improve students' listening skills.

Specifically, this study discuss about Qowaid role in Arabic Language in forming reading skill in student class I Senior High School Hikmatussyarif Nahdhotul Wathan Salut Narmada West of Nusa Tenggara. Significances of this article is to know instruction process Qowaid of Arabic Language and to forming reading skill in student Class I Senior High School Hikmatussyarif Nahdhotul Wathan Salut Narmada West of Nusa Tenggara. As for research study method in this article use Qualitative method, Qowaid instruction has done it well according to effective steps because existence of some components of teacher instruction, student, hand book, material, time, instruction strategy, instruction media and evaluation. And Qowaid instruction has seen from student skill, they have come up with the target of study which have been determined, they read some Arabic references without harakat and also they can write it well.

Insulin-dependant (Type I) diabetes mellitus (IDDM) is a metabolic disorder resulting from the lack of endogenous insulin secretion. The disease is thought to result from the autoimmune mediated destruction of the insulin producing ß cells within the islets of Langerhans. The disease process is probably triggered by environmental agents, e.g. virus or chemical toxins on a background of genetic susceptibility associated with particular alleles within the major histocompatiblity complex (MHC). The relation between IDDM and the MHC locus has been reinforced by the demonstration of both class I and class II MHC proteins on the surface of ß cells from newly diagnosed patients as well as mounting evidence that IDDM has an autoimmune pathogenesis. In 1984, a series of observations were used to advance a hypothesis, in which it was suggested that aberrant expression of class II MHC molecules, perhaps induced by gamma-interferon (IFN γ) could present self antigens and initiate an autoimmune disease. We have tested some aspects of this model and demonstrated that expression of IFN γ by pancreatic ß cells can initiate an inflammatory destruction of both the islets and pancreas and does lead to IDDM.
