This article uses a narrative inquiry study to address the treatment of an Indigenous male through a historical and contemporary lens in the Canadian societal context. The purpose of this study was to unpack the assimilative practices through lived experience and apply an experiential reflective learning model process for the author. This narrative inquiry study concludes with a series of recommendations.

The problems of students show that the values of Pancasila have been eroded in life in society, nation, and state. Therefore, it is necessary to find alternative solutions to various problems, by showing the importance of Pancasila education learning in educational institutions. This is intended to equip students to understand and try to fix some of these problems. In this case, it is necessary to have problem-solving through Pancasila Education learning activities by using the Reflective Learning Model. The research aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education course, Faculty of Law, Bhayangkara University, Jakarta Raya. The research was conducted by doing learning actions, and how to make observations. Initial results are expected to bring awareness of students about the importance of Pancasila Education which aims to improve learning outcomes. Furthermore, several preparatory steps are arranged for observing the learning action. Researchers carried out observations of learning in the classroom with a Reflective learning model, by the actions planned in the study. Activities carried out by lecturers who have been provided with observation guidelines by recording all research activities from introduction, development, application, closing and writing additional information that has not occurred such as initiatives and reactions, both from researchers and students, as well as providing conclusions and general suggestions of actions which are conducted. The observation time was adjusted to the Pancasila Education course hours at the Faculty of Law, Bhayangkara University Jakarta Raya

<p class="Abstrak"><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study aims to determine the ability of scientific argumentation of students. The study was conducted on 64 of students X-MIPA class on force and motion. The results of the observation showed that the argument ability of the concept force and motion in students was still very low. The low ability of participants' scientific arguments could also influenced by inappropriate learning models. The learning model applied is a multi-representation based contextual learning model was implemented. The results showed that there was an improve in the ability of scientific argumentation after applying a multi-presentation based contextual learning model. Analysis obtained was 0% at level 17.18% at level 43.75% at level 37.13% at level 4 and 10.94% at level 5.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah siswa. Penelitian dilakukan pada 64 siswa kelas X-MIPA materi gaya dan gerak. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan kemampuan argumentasi konsep gaya dan gerak pada siswa masih sangat rendah. Kemampaun argumentasi ilmiah yang rendah juga dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Model pembelajaran yang diterapkan adalah model pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis multirepresentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis multirepresentasi. Analisis yang diperoleh 0% pada level 1, 17.18 % pada level 2, 43.75% pada level 3, 37.13% pada level 4 dan 10.94% pada level 5.

The objective of this research was to investigate the effect of the learning model on the mathematic communication of the students. The learning models compared were the reflective learning model with mathematics realistic in Islamic nuance and the direct learning model. The type of the research was a quasi-experimental research. Its population was all of the students in grade VII in MTs Al-Khairiyah Nature in academic year 2015/2016. The size of the sample was 44 students consisted of 22 in experimental class 1 and 22 in control class 1. The instruments used were mathematics communication test on the learning material of the polyhedron. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The conclusions of the research were as there is the effect of reflective learning model with mathematics realistic in Islamic nuance resulted in a better than the direct learning model.
