The results revealed that audit firm size (β=14485.32, P=0.000) which is external audit attribute and board size (β=-2741.887, P=0.000), audit committee presence (β= -8225.11, P=0.044) and company size (β= 5454.20, P=0.000) were the significant determinants of external audit and corporate board attributes of listed foods and beverages firms in Nigeria. Also, the result of panel regression revealed that audit independence (β= -6.57e-06, P=0.035) and audit firm size (β=0.1141479, P= 0.018) were the external audit attributes that had significant effect on discretionary accruals. This paper investigates the effect of corporate governance practices on the extent of voluntary disclosure in France. Using a panel of 206 non-financial French listed firms during the period 20062009, we find evidence that voluntary disclosure in annual reports increases with managerial ownership, board and audit committee independence, board meeting frequency, and external audit quality. We also find that frequency of audit committee meetings and diligence of board and auditing are associated with decreased disclosure. Additional findings show that larger, more profitable, and less indebted firms have greater voluntary disclosure.

The purpose of this study is to determine investors reactions to earnings announcements and unexpected earnings when facing stickiness cost. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique with a total of 10 infrastructure companies listed on the IDX during 2015-2019. The analysis technique in this study uses panel regression analysis using EVIEWS 9. The results of this study indicate that there is no investor reaction to earnings announcements in infrastructure companies when there are low and high stickiness cost. However, when the company has a combined stickiness cost, there is an investor's reaction to the earnings announcement by seeing a positive CAR value which means good earnings quality. Unexpected Earning has no effect on companies that are facing stickiness cost, so the results of this study indicate that there is no investor reaction to unexpected earnings in infrastructure companies that have low, high, and combined stickiness cost. The conclusion of this study is that earnings information becomes less important in predicting future earnings.
