Human resources play an essential role in helping companies to achieve their vision and mission. As a large scale company, PT Petrokimia Gresik obviously needs to invest in Employees’ Performance Assessment System. It could act as a decision-making tool or a measure to evaluate and assess employees' performance at work so that theemployees’ promotion would be moreobjective and organized. Decision support system could be used to reduce the subjectivity in decision-making process. The decision support system that uses profile matching method or competency gap analysis was created based on the data which refers to the decree of the board of directors issued by PT Petrokimia Gresik. This system analyzes and assesses employee’s competencies by grouping and calculating core factors and secondary factors in each variable. The output of the calculation is a ranking of the candidates. By implementing decision support system which uses Profile Matching method, it assists company decision-making process in promotion decision based on employees’ competency scores more optimally.

The scholarship selection process of Politeknik Negeri Samarinda are constraints on the decision-making process. This is because there is no objective method to determine quickly and precisely. To assist in the determination of the set someone worthy scholarship in this study will be design DSS (Decision Support System) with model of Multi-Criteria Decision Making. The method used is the method Profile Matching. Profile Matching methods have been able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case meant that alternatives are eligible to receive scholarships based on the criteria specified. Research carried out by finding the weights for each sub-aspect, then carried ranking process that will determine the optimal alternative, the best students will be considered by decisionmakersto get a scholarship. Proses seleksi beasiswa di Politeknik Negeri Samarinda banyak terdapat kendala pada proses pengambilan keputusan. Hal ini dikarenakan belum ada metode objektif yang dapat memutuskan dengan cepat dan tepat. Untuk membantu penentuan dalam menetapkan seseorang yang layak menerima beasiswa maka dalam penelitian ini akan didesainkan DSS (Decision Support System) dengan model Multi Criteria Decision Making. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Profile Matching. Metode Profile Matching dipilih karena mampu menyeleksi alternatif terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif, dalam hal ini alternatif yang dimaksudkan yaitu yang berhak menerima beasiswa berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang ditentukan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari nilai bobot untuk setiap sub aspek, kemudian dilakukan proses perankingan yang akan menentukan alternatif yang optimal, yaitu mahasiswa terbaik yang akan dipertimbangkan oleh pengambil keputusan untuk mendapatkan beasiswa.

Learning is one of the obligations of students to do in every school activity where they study. However, sometimes many students are less able to digest the subject matter delivered by the teacher. Therefore, the school held a scholarship program for outstanding students. In order to motivate students to study harder. Achievement scholarships are given with the aim of motivating students to study harder. Currently the scholarship is not right on target because it is still done manually and it is not clear the criteria for a student to get an achievement scholarship. To conduct an assessment in awarding scholarships to high achieving students use a decision support system to help solve a problem. For this reason, to conduct an assessment in the awarding of scholarships, a decision support system using the Profile Matching method is used. Profile Matching method is one of the methods used in decision making. In this study, there are several aspects of the assessment for awarding achievement scholarships, namely the KKM Aspect, the Attendance Aspect, the Behavior Aspect, the Craft Aspect or the Discipline, the Neatness Aspect.

 Decision Support System is a system that can assist managers in making decisions that are based on the criteria set by the company. Decision Support System helps in the assessment process so it does not happen to be subjective judgment in decision making. Ratings are based on the criteria that have been determined are expected to determine the employee is entitled to a promotion. Many methods can be used in making a decision support system. One method that can be used in making a decision support system that the method Profile Matching. Profile Matching is the process of comparing the profiles of employees with occupational profiles so that the known value of the gap. The smaller the value gap is generated, then the weight value will be even greater gap so that employees the opportunity to get a promotion will be even greater. The results of the calculation with profile matching method in the form of value which ranked based on the largest value. The results of this ranking value will be used as a reference in helping managers to make decisions. Software used in the manufacture of these decision support systems applications with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 with MySQL databases.

The company is a place of production, where humans function as a driving force and executor to realize the company's goals that have been set previously. Every employee in a company must always try to improve their abilities and achievements. So he can get a good career path according to his dream. To facilitate the implementation of the permanent employee appointment process of each employee, a decision support system is created which aims to facilitate the process. One of the methods used in making decisions on the appointment of permanent employees is Profile Matching. The decision support system for the Profile Matching and gap analysis process is based on data at PT. Hyper Mega Shipping, Profile Matching Method is carried out to determine the appointment of permanent employees based on two aspects, namely Performance and Work Culture. The results of the selection process in the form of a final employee score as a recommendation for decision-makers to determine which employees will get the promotion of permanent employee appointments.

Therefore, to make an assessment in making a decision to choose a decent demotion employee based on the assessment carried out in the field. Then the decision support system that will be built with a computerized system so that decision making is done quickly and accurately. For this decision support system, use the Profile Matching method or matching the demotion of employee demos with the profile of the employee assessed with the specified Criteria. Making an application program must be made carefully, so that it looks easy to understand and proven useful and useful for users. the system built can help PT. Nafasindo in determining the demotion of employees who are decent and can reduce errors in determining the demotion of employees

Decision support system for selecting color guard with VIKOR and Borda methods. It has been made as a tool to select color guard at the Sei Rampah High School. The criteria used in the decision support system for color guard selection are: height, weight, agility, stamina, and body language. Color guard selection activities are a routine activity every year, so GINADA marching band coach Sei Rampah hereby selects to select permanent members in the marching band. Decision Support System in an organization can be seen as important in supporting the smooth running of activities and achieving an organizational goal. SPK can come in various forms, ranging from simple forms of data processing to complex application forms, and can also be used to accelerate and improve the quality of the decision-making process in the organization.

Decision making on relief distribution is a complex multidisciplinary task in humanitarian logistics. It incorporates decision makers from different but related problem areas. The failure to perform assigned decision-making tasks in any area makes the entire system unstable and delays the relief distribution process. An organized, well-planned, and practical decision support system (DSS) can assist practitioners in making rapid decisions on delivering relief items. Hence, DSS researchers in humanitarian logistics require rigorous thinking, close and critical analysis, and the identification of challenges to conduct research or validate the generated knowledge properly. To perform such complex knowledge-based tasks, the philosophical understanding of DSS in the humanitarian context is necessary. After analyzing the commonly used philosophical paradigms, this research identifies the pragmatic approach as the adequate support for solving decision-making problems in relief distribution during large-scale disasters.

  Clinical decision support system (CDSS) is promising in assisting physicians for improving decision-making process and facilitates healthcare services. In medicine, causality has become the main concern throughout healthcare and decision-making. Causality is necessary for understanding all structures ofscientific reasoning and for providing a coherent and sufficient explanation for any event. However, thereare lack of existing CDSS that provide causal reasoning for the presented outcomes or decisions. Theseare necessary for showing reliability of the outcomes, and helping the physicians in making properdecisions. In this study, an ontology-based CDSS model is developed based on several key concepts andfeatures of causality and graphical modeling techniques. For the evaluation process, the Pellet reasoneris used to evaluate the consistency of the developed ontology model. In addition, an evaluation toolknown as Ontology Pitfall Scanner is used for validating the ontology model through pitfalls detection.The developed ontology-based CDSS model has potentials to be applied in clinical practice and helpingthe physicians in decision-making process. Penilaian kinerja staff merupakan proses penilaian yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui staff yang berkualitas dan berdedikasi tinggi. Manajer memiliki pemasalahan untuk bisa mengevaluasi atas kinerja staff pada sebuah acara yang bertema “Change Agent” dan staff terbaik diberi nama “Best Agent”. Dikarenakan sistem penilaian secara manual dengan mengisi form nilai kemudian dijumlahkan dan diperoleh rata-ratanya. Aplikasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan “Best Agent” metode Profile Matching merupakan sebuah aplikasi yang dirancang untuk memberikan sebuah alternatif keputusan yang akurat didasarkan pada data terkini dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan, hal ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas kinerja staff dan harapan besarnya adalah terbangunnya peningkatan kinerja yang baik sehingga meningkatkan kualitas SDM dan membawa nama baik institusi. Kata kunci: Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Manajemen Kinerja, Metode Profile Matching. Staff performance appraisal is an appraisal process undertaken to find qualified and dedicated staff. Managers have problems to be able to evaluate staff performance at an event entitled "Change Agent" and the best staff is named "Best Agent". Due to the manual appraisal system by filling in the value form then adding up and obtaining the average. Decision Support System Approval Selection of "Best Agent" Profile Matching method is an application designed to provide an accurate decision alternative based on current and accountable data, it is expected to improve the quality of staff performance and the expectation of the magnitude is the establishment improvement in good performance so as to improve the quality of human resources and bring the institution's good name to both the scope of the Department and more broadly.
