The number of stock investors has increased from the past to the present. Likewise, the number of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). What makes investors confused about choosing the best stock from the hundreds of stocks that are regulated on the IDX. The method used for the best stock is the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Investors will enter criteria that take into account the specified criteria and criteria. The criteria used to determine stocks are C1 = PER, C2 = PBV, C3 = DER, C4 = ROE and C5 = ROA. The results of research conducted in the second rank show that alternative A1 = CPIN is in the first rank with a Priority Vector of 0.6536, alternative A2 = JFPA is in the second rank with a Priority Vector of 0.2013 and alternative A3 = UTAMA is in the second rank. second rank. second rank. second rank. ranked third with a Priority Vector of 0.1452.

The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) uses pairwise comparison to evaluate alternatives' advantages to a certain criterion. For decision-making problem with many different criteria and alternatives, pairwise comparison causes a prolonged decision-making period and rises fatigue in decision-makers' mentality. A question of practical value is if there exists a way to reduce judgment number and what influence the reduction will have on the overall evaluation of alternative ratings. To answer this question, we introduce scale error and judgment error into AHP judgment matrix. By expanding the scales defined in the AHP, scale error is eliminated. Taking judgment error as random variable, a new estimator to calculate priority vector is presented. In the end, an example is proved to show lowering judgment number will increase the probability of larger errors appearing in priority vector computation.

The Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is a popular method for solving multi-criteria problems. However, the problem of the adequacy of the AHP method is not solved. Opponents of the Analytic hierarchy process believe that the AHP as a whole is erroneous and cannot be applied in practice. Proponents of the method believe that the disadvantages of the method are compensated by a simple measurement procedure. In this paper, a modification of the AHP method is proposed. A mathematical model of measurement is formulated, which contains a built-in mechanism for checking adequacy. moreover, the measurement method is preserved, and the calculation algorithm becomes even simpler. The fact is that the Analytic hierarchy process is based on the assumption that the scale of relations can be obtained by pairwise comparison using numerical judgments based on the absolute scale of numbers. Fechner’s psychophysical law is considered as a justification for the existence of the scale of relations. But there are not one, but two psychophysical laws. The existence of two psychophysical laws is a problem of psychophysics. This problem can be solved by the rating method. To overcome the disadvantages of the Analytic hierarchy process, it is also proposed to use the rating method. The use of the rating method makes it possible to use the fundamental scale of the AHP method. As an example, the problem is solved using the traditional AHP scale.

To classify the difficulty of the experiments is the basis of the effective mutlit-level experimental instruction. In this paper, we employ the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method to compare and analyse the difficult of the experiments, and set up a corresponding comparison judgment matrix to the difficulty of the projects. We obtain some sortings of difficulty of experiments, which coincide with the fact. Our studies offer an effective way to the rational sorting of difficulty of experiments.

This year the International Symposium on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (ISAHP2018) was dedicated to the memory of Thomas Saaty, the father of the Analytic Hierarchy Process, and my husband of 52 years, who passed away on August 17, 2017, at the age of 91 The conference chair was Luis Vargas, Tom’s longtime colleague at the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business where he held the chair of Distinguished University Professor. Their names are linked on many AHP articles and books that they co-authored during the past 40 years.

The problem addressed in this research is how to predict the winner of football match with various criteria. The problem will be solved using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The AHP method that implemented to solve the problems will run two analysis to get an alternative solution. The first AHP method is criteria analysis, in order to get priority vector value. In criteria analysis, to know the consistency of criteria value filling, CR < 10%. If known that criteria value filling not consistant, the process must be repeated until CR < 10%. Then continue with alternate analysis to get global priority vector value wich is AHP solution. The accuration of this system is close to 80% compare with the real condition.

Abstract The level of occupational health and safety is one of the determinants of the company's efficiency. The article assessed the quality of general initial training (general training) and initial training at the workplace (on-the-job training) carried out in selected business entities related to the hard coal mining industry. Problem included in the above trainings were interpreted as a criterion function within a multi-criteria analysis based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Application of the AHP method allowed to perform a diagnostic (comparative) assessment of objects (business entities), both objects and accepted assessment criteria were compared in pairs with each other (the evaluator's preferences (subjectivity of assessments) are treated in the Analytic Hierarchy Process as a natural phenomenon).
