This study aimed to examine the effect of firm size, liquidity, financial flexibility, share growth, sale growth, business risk and profitability to capital structure. This study used secondary data from the company’s financial statements and determinan of the sample using techniques proposive sampling. The population in this study are manufacture companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period  2011-2015 with a sample 55 companies. The result showed firm size has a positive effect to capital structure. Liquidity has a no effect to capital structure. Financial flexibility has a negative effect to capital structure. Sale growth has a positive effe ct to capital structure. Profitabilitas has a negatife effect to capital structure. Other result showed share growth and risk business has no effect to capital stucture. The result of the study are expected to add to the research literature that discuss the factors that effect of capital structure on manufacture companies. Further research can add control variable. This research is intended to prove the influence of financial flexibility, asset structure, firm size, profitability and business risk on the capital structure. The population on this study are property, real estate and building construction sector that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009-2018. The number of samples used were 28 companies with a purposive sampling method. The data studied was obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Methods of data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results showed that financial flexibility has not significant  negative effect on capital structure. Asset structure and firm size have a significant positive effect on capital structure. The profitability and business risk have a significant negative effect on capital structure. Further research is needed to use another proxies such as ROE for profitability variables or standard deviations from ROE for business risk on capital structure and add another sectors or the number of observation periods.

This research aims to analyze the effects of profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR), assets growth, and firm size towards capital structure (DER) and the impact on firm value (PBV).This research uses secondary data from yearly financial statement of food and baverages companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange for period 2013-2017. The research design uses descriptive quantitative research and causality. Sampling method uses purposive sampling method, with some predetermined criteria, the number of sample is 17 manufacturing companies. The analysis technique used is panel data regression. The research results shows that the profitability (ROA) and firm size partially have negative effect and not significant on capital structure (DER). The liquidity (CR) and assets growth partially have negative effect and significantly on capital structure (DER). Then the capital structure (DER) partially have positive effect but not significantly influences the firm value (PBV). The profitability (ROA) partially have positive effect and significant on firm value (PBV). The liquidity (CR) and assets growth partially have negative and significant effect on firm value (PBV), and firm size partially have negative and not significant effect on firm value (PBV). Simultaneously profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR), assets growth and firm size effect on capital structure (DER). On the other side, simultaneously profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR), assets growth and firm size have effect on firm value (PBV).

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of firm size, exchange rate, earnings per share and capital structure as control variables on stock returns. All manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013 – 2017 are the population in this study. By using purposive sampling method, 100 companies were selected as samples in the study. The method of collecting data is library research and secondary data from the official publications of the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the official website of Bank Indonesia. Panel and regression methods are used as an analytical tool in this study. The results obtained in the study are, stock returns are significantly affected by firm size, exchange rates and earnings per share either partially or simultaneously. Meanwhile, when using capital structure as a control variable on stock returns, the results show that the variables of firm size, exchange rate and earnings per share are partially stated to have no significant effect.

The capital structure is very important for the company, this is because it involves the policy of determining the source of funding used, both from inside and outside the company. This study aims to determine the effect of asset structure, business risk, and firm size on capital structure with profitability as a moderating variable. The research was conducted on manufacturing sector entities that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2019 period. The population is 141 entities. Based on the purposive sampling method, the research sample used was 70 manufacturing entities. The data analysis technique in this study is moderated regression analysis. The results showed that the asset structure has a negative effect on the capital structure. Business risk has no influence on the capital structure. Firm size has a positive influence on capital structure. Profitability is able to moderate the effect of asset structure and firm size on capital structure. ABSTRACT This study was conducted to obtain empirical evidence on the influence of profitability, liquidity, and business risk on capital structure. This research was conducted since June 2017 and used secondary data obtained from annual reports of property and real estate companies in property, real estate and construction of Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this research is 30 companies for three years, namely 2013-2015. The sample was obtained through purposive sampling technique.The analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis, analysis of classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this research is liquidity has significant negative effect to capital structure, while profitability and business risk have no significant effect to capital structure. This research aims to analyze the influence of earning per share (EPS), growth opportunity and business risk against capital structure on property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this research was 60 companies that had been ‘go public’ and their shares were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2018. After the selection was done using a purposive sampling method, a sample of 15 companies was obtained from 2015-2018 so that the total observation of this research is 60. The data used is secondary data and the analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this is partially earning per share is significant negative effect against capital structure, while growth opportunity and business risk is not effect against capital structure. The result of the research simultaneously show earning per share, growth opportunity, and business risk has not effect against the capital structure.

The purpose of this research is to know about the effect of these factors Corporate Governane proxy by Institutional Ownership and Number of Board of Directors, Firm Size, and Return On Asset in basic industry and chemistry towards capital structure, and also to determine which of those factors having powerful effect to the capital structure. This research is using secondary data, such as the financial reports, annual reports and other related information of basic industry and chemistry listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange which sample were taken from 45 companies for the period of 2013 to 2014, and the choosing of these samples was based on the purposive sampling method. Panel data is used to test the effect of Institutional Ownership, Board of Directors, Return on Asset and Firm Size among as independent variables, in regard to capital structure as dependent variables. The result shows that only Return On Asset have significant effect to the Capital Structure in the basic industry and chemistry. Meanwhile Institutional Ownership, Board of Directors and Firm Size have no effect to the Capital Structure in the basic industry and chemistry. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of partially or simultaneously the size of the company and business risk on the capital structure of the Automotive Industry Company Registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data collection uses secondary data using purposive sampling technique. The population in this study were all automotive industry companies as many as 17 companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange for the period 2014-2016, while the samples taken were the number of observations for 3 years (2014-2016). The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that all hypotheses had a positive and significant effect based on t test and F test. This means that both partially and simultaneously the size of the company and business risk had a positive and significant effect on the capital structure of the Automotive Industry Company Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Capital structure reflects the extent to which companies can manage existing capital to generate profits. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of variables of profitability, firm size, asset structure, liquidity, and business risk on the capital structure in Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2015 - 2018. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling by determining 3 criteria. From total of 155 companies, only 69 companies were sampled. The result of this research indicate that profitability has a positive and significant effect on capital structure, firm size has a positive and no significant effect on capital structure, asset structure has no effect and no significant on capital structure, liquidity and business risk have a negative and significant effect on capital structure in Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the periode of 2015 -  2018. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of profitability, asset structure, business risk, and firm size to capital structure. The research populations are 44 mining companies which listed In Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) with 11 research samples around 2011-2015. This research used purposive sampling method. The statistical methods used in this research are multiple regressions.
