This research aims to explore, understand, and describe Universitas Islam Balitar students’ interest towards reading Al-Qur’an. Deploying qualitative method, observation, and interview, it appears that there were 65 out of 100 students who have finished reading Al-Qur’an, and it was revealed that most of the students read Al-Qur’an inside the college; nevertheless, most of them still read Al-Qur’an haltingly. However, all the students said that they had great interest in reading Al-Qur’an fluently either those who found themselves difficult to read Al-Qur’an or even those who were unable to read Al-Qur’an at all. The students were also aware that Al-Qur’an must be read on a daily basis, and due to the importance of reading Al-Qura’an nowadays, they thought that Reading Al-Qur’an should be a particular subject in the university. The results revealed that a great number of students who have either finished reading Al-Qur’an or read Al-Qu’ran on a daily basis were found in Class A. The data were obtained from the students Attendance List under the supervision of Islamic Education lecturers in Primary Teacher Education study program at UNISBA Blitar

Learning angklung ensemble in music major is common, but learning angklung in the environment of student in Primary Teacher Education major is uncommon. This research aims at analyzing the culture of learning angklung in students not majoring in Music, but in Primary Teacher Education. The method used was qualitative method by giving some angklung materials to be studied and performed. During the learning process, the students were observed, then after the show they were assigned to fill the survey to strengthen the findings about their learning culture in studying angklung. The results of the study indicated that students in Primary Teacher Education had high motivation to learn angklung, but did not have sufficient knowledge in basic theory of music, and in practice they had a learning culture that tended to be less able to hold a commitment to learn in groups or work together to perfectly complete an angklung music composition.

Abstract: Semantic Analysis Research on the Self-Naming of the fourth semester of Physical Education Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Kotabumi University sourced from the names of students in the academic year 2018/2019 in class A (morning). Muhammadiyah University Kotabumi is a Muhammadiyah College (PTM) in North Lampung district which has interesting meanings in the students' self names. Based on the findings of the analysis, there are elements of naming from Javanese language and culture, naming that uses elements of foreign languages ​​(English, Arabic, Scottish), and from the combined elements of the names of parents or descendants in these names. This is the basis for researchers to study, especially those related to the language of elements and meanings contained in the name of the fourth semester Physical Education Study Program students at Muhammadiyah University, Kotbaumi. Understanding of the language of the elements and types of meaning can be known based on language as forming elements of student names and the types of meanings contained therein.

Arabic subjects are very important to develop the ability to communicate. By learning Arabic, students can understand the conversation and reading in Arabic well. Formal Arabic Studies in Madrasahs are the main means for students to master Arabic. This study aims to: 1) Know the efforts of STI Pati Raden Wijaya Prodi in shaping Arabic environment on Prodi PIT STIT Raden Wijaya. 2) Knowing the supporting factors in shaping Arabic environment on PAI STIT Raden Wijaya Prodi. 3) Knowing the obstacles faced by Prodi PIT STIT Raden Wijaya in shaping Arabic environment at Prodi PIT STIT Raden Wijaya. This study uses oriented approach (paradigm) Descriptive-Qualitative, While the type of research is using case studies (Santoso, 2005). In this study the researchers themselves or with the help of others are the main data collectors. This research was conducted at Tarbiyah High School of Raden Wijaya Kota Mojokerto, on Islamic Religious Education Study Program. In this study, the primary data obtained by researchers is: the results of interviews with the Chairman of the Study Program of Islamic Education and Students Semester I (One). In this study used in analyzing data that has been obtained is by descriptive (non statistical) descriptive that is explorative. The conclusions of this research are: 1) Effort-uaha done Prodi in making effective learning arab language in Prodi PIT STIT Raden Wijaya are: a. He held yaum al-'araby twice a week on Friday. b. It was called shabah al-lughah a week twice before ta'lim afkar al-islamy began. c. The existence of study club on each mabna. 2) Factors that become supporters in forming bi'ah al-'arabiyah are: a. Attachment of mufradat in strategic places. b. Make plaques that are written / spoken in Arabic to make it easier to remember. c. Songs in foreign languages ​​(Arabic and English) to increase students' insight in developing the language. 3) The constraints faced in creating bi'ah al-'arabiyah namely: a. Ability and basic students are different. b. There is no class classification that suits the ability of each student. c. Lack of facilities / facilities and infrastructure. d. Competence musyrif / ah who are not all able to speak. e. The curriculum and materials that are presented have not been neatly arranged. f. The absence of a strict iqob for students who do not communicate arabic language everyday.

Abstract: The Effect Of Instructional Media And Multiple Intelligences On Student’s Learning Achievement On Information And Comunication Technology (ICT) Of Primary Teacher Education,  State University Of Medan. The objectives of  this quasi – experimental research were to discover: 1) whether the students learning achievement of Primary Teacher Education (PTE) in ICT taught by using CD interactive multimedia interactive instructional media was higher than learning achievement of  PTE taught by using module instructional media, 2) whether the students learning achievement of  PTE in ICT with spasial visual multiple intelligences was higher than student’s with verbal linguistic multiple intelligences, and 3) the interaction between instructional media and multiple intelligences in affecting the student’s learning achievement in ICT. The population of the study was 180 students of PTE who took the ICT from 6 classes namely 2 regular classes, 3 extension classes from the city government Academic year 2010/2011.Based on cluster random sampling technique 4 clasess taken from 2 reguler classes and 2 extention classes. The A regular class and A extension class using CD interactive multimedia instructional media and module was used in B regular class and B extention class. The research findings showed that : (1) the students’ learning  achievement in ICT taught by using CD interactive multimedia instructional media was higher than the students’ taught by using module instructional media with Fcount = 11.65 > Ftables = 4.00 at the level of  significance α = 0.05; (2) the students’ learning achievement in ICT with multiple intelligences spatial visual was higher than students’learning achievement with multiple intelligences verbal linguistic with Fcount = 11.65 > Ftables = 4.00 at the level of  significance α = 0.05, and (3) there was an interaction between instructional media and multiple intelligences on students’ learning achievement in ICT where Fcount =  8,85  > Ftable =  4.00 at the level of  significance α = 0.05.         The conclusion of research is that application of the instructional media in the instructional process can improve the student’s learning achievement especially for PTE. Therefore, the implication is lecturers should be trained in order they can apply a more variative instructional process. So, it is the suggested that the lecturers should able use a variety of media for the success of the instructional process.
