The paper is dedicated to the methods of heat-power backup supply. A search for a solution to update a process of power backup supply to consumers of the first category is carried out. There is carried out a comparative analysis of all accessible systems for power backup supply including those which were not used earlier for the most significant consumers. As a solution in the paper there are offered micro-turbine installations as the most efficient and convenient in operation. The method is based on the principle of comparison allowing the choice of the most suitable solution. The investigation results are a fundamentally new solution for this field of researches as micro-turbine installations were not used earlier for power backup supply of consumers of the first category. Various versions of power backup supply are presented, problem setting is carried out taking into account the requirements made, the objects under investigations are described and conclusions on the best version for heat-power backup supply of the consumers of the first category are presented.

In 2019, according to the technological assignment of the Iron and Steel Institute (ISI), the reconstruction of the blast furnace (BF) No. 3 of PJSC «AZOVSTAL IRON & STEEL WORKS» was carried out for the long-term energy-efficient production of pig iron with using pulverized coal (PCI) up to 180 kg/t with a change in the profile according to the technological task of ISI. The design of the BF No. 3 profile corresponds to the best world solutions for furnaces efficiently working with pulverized coal, and the furnace was equipped with five mathematical models of ISI («Horn», «Mine», «Heat losses», «Loading», «Slag»). Specialists of ISI developed recommendations and carried out technological support for the operation of BF No.3, which made it possible to increase the removal of pig iron from the design 2.1 t/m3 to 2.27 t/m3 and achieved the best indicators in the blast furnace workshop in terms of coke and equivalent fuel consumption by increasing the productivity of the burden system, using a rational burden loading matrix, using a rational pressure drop in the furnace, which allows the maximum use of the power of the blower machine, forcing the furnace with technical oxygen and other measures. Using the heat power model of I.D. Semikin was made a comparative analysis of the best for six months indicators of thermal performance and technical and economic indicators of BF №3 of PJSC «AZOVSTAL IRON & STEEL WORKS», with a volume of 1800 m3 before (work with natural gas) and after major repairs (work with pulverized coal and with natural gas). Using the exergy method of analysis based on the results of calculating heat and power balances, a comparative analysis of changes in the energy efficiency and environmental indicators of BF No. 3 before and after its major repairs was carried out. It shown the expediency of integrated mastering of operating modes and modernization of the blast furnace for long-term and energy-efficient operation with pulverized coal. It disclosed the mechanism for improving the technical and economic indicators of work after major repairs by changing the heat and power conditions of the blast furnace. Its shown Improvement of exergy efficiency factor and environmental performance of BF No. 3 after major repairs.

The thermoacoustic behavior of different typologies of porous cores is studied in this paper with the goal of finding the most suitable solution for small thermoacoustic devices, including solar driven air coolers and generators, which can be used in future buildings. Cores provided with circular pores, with rectangular slits and with arrays of parallel cylindrical pins are investigated. For the type of applications in focus, the main design constraints are represented by the reduced amount of the input heat power and the size limitations of the device. In this paper, a numerical procedure has been implemented to assess the behavior of the different core typologies. For a fixed input heat power, the maximum acoustic power delivered by each core is computed and the corresponding engine configuration (length of the resonator and position of the core) is provided. It has been found that cores with parallel pins provide the largest amount of acoustic power with the smallest resonator length. This conclusion has been confirmed by experiments where additive manufactured cores have been tested in a small, light-driven, thermoacoustic prime mover.

Social networks, mobile apps, and cloud computing push traditional networks to the limits of their boundaries. One solution to this problem is Software Defined Networks (SDN), which is a contemporary networking concept that allows network administrators easy to manage network services and resources by differentiating the management plane from the data transport plane. The new generation of networks eliminate inefficiencies of the existent networks making them more automated, dynamic and easy adapting to the changing state and requirements of users. The paper presents a comparative analysis of traditional and software defined networks on the base of their capabilities and application as the aim is the applying of SDN as a suitable solution of the problems of modern networks.

It is a fact that Indonesian students have difficulty learning Arabic because of the characteristics and linguistics of different Arabic and Indonesian languages, and their lack of understanding of the similarities between the two languages. The researcher sees that it is necessary to examine the similarities and differences in verbs between the two languages, and then present the way the verb teaches them to give the teacher and learner the desired result. Researchers approached an analytical descriptive approach in the achievement of this study, using comparative analysis methods, to compare between transitive verbs in Arabic and Indonesian and then the researchers divide into two categories, the first category is the equation of transitive verbs in Arabic and Indonesian, the second category is the difference between transitive verbs in Arabic and Indonesian. The study found that the difficulties experienced by Indonesian students began with the following reasons: differences in sentence composition and differences in grammatical and morphological rules.

For over half a century Gandhi has been one of the favored characters of a number of films – Nine hours to Rama (1963) to Gandhi, My Father (2007). Gandhian ethos, life and teachings are frequently represented in varied ways in different films. The portrayal of Gandhi in different films can be grouped into two broad categories: i. revolving around his life, percept and practice as one category and ii. involving his ideas, ideals and views either explicitly or implicitly. The first category of the films include three broad films—Gandhi (1982), The Making of the Mahatma (1996) and Gandhi My Father (2007) and the other category of the films include Nine Hours to Rama (1963- English), Jinnah (1998- English), Sardar (1993), Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar (2000), Hey Ram (2000), Lage Raho Munnabhai, (2006) etc.  Grounded in the theory of inter-textuality through moving image method, the present study is a comparative analysis of examining the portrayal of Gandhi among the first category of three films ---Gandhi (1982- English) by Richard Attenborough, The Making of the Mahatma (1996) by Shyam Benegal and Gandhi, My Father (2007) by Feroz Abbas Khan with crisscross critiquing of the portrayal of Gandhi in the second category of films. Using Bingham’s (2010) discursive analysis on biopic films, the study seeks to show how Gandhi is perceived and depicted through the lenses of these three eminent directors vis-à-vis others from the point of intertextuality both ideologically and politically. Further the study would elaborate how different personal and social events in Gandhi’s life are weaved together by these directors to bring out the character of Bapu or Mahatma from Gandhi. For all the above critique, Gandhi’s autobiography-The Story of My Experiments with Truth-has been taken as a base referent
