This article aims to fulfill administrative duties and educational supervision. Where this article is titled "Curriculum Administration." This article writing technique is taken by looking for existing information. Curriculum administration is the entire process of activities planned to help achieve educational goals. Abstrak- In general, this study aims to determine and analyze the role of supervision in an education. This research uses the literature study method by collecting literature (material materials) sourced from books, journals, and other sources related to the science of Educational Administration. Supervision comes from the word super and vision, which means to see and review from above or view and assess from above, which is carried out by superiors on the activities, creativity and performance of subordinates. In terms of terms, in Carter's Good Dictionary Education, supervision is all the efforts of school officials in leading teachers and other education personnel to improve teaching. These include stimulating, selecting the growth and development of teachers' positions, selecting and revising educational goals, teaching materials and teaching methods, and evaluating teaching. Educational supervision has very important goals and benefits. The scope of educational supervision includes the following: Managerial supervision of the curriculum, Managerial supervision of student affairs, Managerial supervision of educators and education personnel, Managerial supervision of facilities and infrastructure, Managerial supervision of finance, Managerial supervision of public relations, Managerial supervision of administration, Administration supervision academics about learning, related to methods, sourcing strategies, and evaluations.

The quality of educational institutions is supported by several system elements including supervision of education carried out by principals as supervisors as mandated by Minister of National Education Regulation (Permendiknas) Number 13 of 2007 concerning Standard Principals who must supervise education in the form of supervision and assessment of teacher performance and employees who aim to assist teachers and employees in achieving educational goals starting from planning, implementation and evaluation to be optimal in carrying out institutional tasks in an organizational frame that leads to the quality of the institution. Educational supervision serves to coordinate all school efforts including all role holders in the school organization and broaden the experience through giving constructive criticism from the principal to teachers and employees. References to educational supervision include curriculum components, curriculum content and curriculum development strategies, improvement of teaching references in terms of making learning planning, optimizing the educational functions and educational goals embodied in the school's vision and mission. Educational supervision has important objectives and benefits including the following: Generating and encouraging the enthusiasm of teachers and other school administration staff to carry out their duties properly. So that teachers and other administrative staff try to complete their shortcomings in the administration of education, including in the various instructional media needed for the smooth running of a good learning and teaching process. Together try to develop, find and use new methods for the advancement of a good learning and teaching process. Fostering harmonious cooperation between teachers, students and school staff. For example, by holding seminars, workshops, in-service, and training.
