Telecommunications have become a vital tool for the success of any business. The 21st-century telecommunication business has been described by hi-tech competition, which has brought attention to customer satisfaction. The study aimed to identify major influential dimensions that affect customer satisfaction. It was accompanied by a descriptive and causal research design and used a structured questionnaire as a survey instrument of the service quality (SERVQUAL) model. The population of this research covered all customers of the Telecommunication industry located at Kathmandu valley, and the sample considered 400 customers through convenience sampling techniques. The survey questionnaire was set in three sections with 38 questions of various types to collect data. The result showed a noteworthy strong positive relationship between service quality dimensions and customer satisfaction. It also revealed security was the major influential dimension of customer satisfaction, followed by tangibles, assurance, and empathy. The finding of the study helps all telecommunication industries to enhance service quality and develop a strategy to increase customer satisfaction and value. Hence, it infers that security, tangibles, assurance, and empathy increase the customer's satisfaction in telecommunications services. Overall service quality dimensions are commonly considered as crucial features of customer satisfaction.

This paper examines the factors influencing customer’s online shopping buying satisfaction level inside the Kathmandu Valley. It establishes a relationship between service quality dimensions with customer satisfaction in Nepalese online buying through correlation analysis. Seven service quality dimensions were selected for this research. They are information quality, usability, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, transaction security and personalisation. Data gathering was carried out developing a structured questionnaire which was distributed both through online and printed form using a convenience sampling method. The study has analysed the responses of 160 online shoppers (aged above 18 years) residing in the. The study confirms the absence of significant relationship between website usability and responsiveness while shows a positively significant relationship between other service quality (SERVQUAL) dimensions taken for this research. The proposed model in this study helps to ascertain the factors that influence online buying satisfaction level. Further, study concludes that while shopping online, websites with good layout and interaction helps promote customer satisfaction. Similarly, website reliability such as timely delivery of products, being truthful about its offerings, and fast delivery are considered as important elements for customer satisfaction.

Commercial bank service quality dimensions and customer satisfaction are related with each other. Customer satisfaction play significant role for the success of bank. A structured questionnaire with 5 point Likert scale has been used to collect the data by conducting field survey. The sample size is 144 and chosen on a convenient basis. Data has been analyzed by using statistical tools like mean and Correlation Coefficient. The result revealed that service quality dimensions like such as tangibility, reliability, assurance, empathy, and responsiveness have significantly and positively correlated on customer satisfaction of commercial bank in Nepal.


This study is conducted to measure the level of customer satisfaction and understand the customer perceptions towards the bank regarding different service quality dimensions in different areas of the Mymensingh area. The study was carried out through a field survey among 300 customers of different branches of this bank at Mymensingh district. A well designed structured questionnaire including both open-ended and close-ended was developed by the researchers and randomly administered to the respondents to collect data. The study finds that customers of this bank are satisfied with the branch accuracy, less complexity in opening an account, security, behavior of employees, technology, and environment, etc. The factors that contribute to customer’s frustration are that they take too much time for the delivery of the checkbook and the interest rate for the loan is high; just as the bank does not provide loans without a mortgage.

This study aims to determine the dimensions of mobile service quality and to examine their effect on customer satisfaction in UAE mobile phone service providers while also investigating the behavioural differences between mobile phone customers with prepaid and postpaid subscriptions. A combination of the SERVPERF model has been adopted as the main framework for analyzing service quality. A structured questionnaire instrument was designed for data collection. The present study concentrates on the level of customers’ satisfaction for leading service providers in the UAE mobile industry. Etisalat and Du were chosen for this study. A sample of (452) mobile phone users in Abu Dhabi city was selected at random using convenience-sampling. We found a positive effect of both functional and technical service quality (network quality) on customers’ satisfaction. Functional and technical dimensions were good predictors of customer satisfaction and confirmed the multidimensional nature of service quality. Also, the service quality dimensions; reliability, assurances, and responsiveness are found to be significant predictors of customer satisfaction. Behavioural difference between mobile phone customers is also significant in predicting customer satisfaction for postpaid subscribers. However, only reliability and network quality are significant predictors of customer satisfaction for prepaid subscribers. The model developed in this study provides marketers and researchers with a diagnostic tool to assess service quality from the perspectives of customers to meet the customer’s expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to consider the nonlinear impact of online retail stores’ quality dimensions on general customer satisfaction and loyalty. Design/methodology/approach – Using a quantitative approach, 429 online users answered a closed questionnaire regarding their present satisfaction with 26 service attributes, their general satisfaction and loyalty. Using factorial analysis with Varimax rotation, five service-quality dimensions are studied: service accessibility/speed, fault recovery, buying reliability, service and site flexibility and site interaction/feedback. Penalty and reward contrast analysis identifies the Kano model classification of the service-quality dimensions, and the nonlinear impact of these dimensions, and customer satisfaction, on customer loyalty. Findings – The results show that there is a nonlinearity between quality dimensions, customer satisfaction and loyalty. The dimension “service accessibility/speed” has a one-dimensional impact on customer satisfaction, but with higher reward impact than penalty impact. “Fault recovery” is a “must-be”, “buying reliability” and “service flexibility” are “attractive” and “site interaction/feedback” is one-dimensional. Besides, the dimension “service accessibility/speed” has also a direct impact on loyalty if achieving above-average performance, thus reinforcing general customer satisfaction. Originality/value – Few previous papers explore this nonlinearity in online retail services. So, future studies should lead to a theoretical and practical understanding of managing these services. Understanding this nonlinearity may help companies to better identify what improve or offer to customers.

Purpose In the present competitive scenario in the Indian banking industry, service quality has become one of the most important facets of interest to academic researchers. The purpose of this paper is to determine the dimensions of perceived service quality and investigate their impact on customer satisfaction in the Indian banking context, with special reference to selected public sector banks in India. Design/methodology/approach On the basis of the empirical study, the authors validate a measurement model using structural equation modeling for investigating the impact of perceived service quality dimensions on customer satisfaction. The study sample consists of 480 respondents in the National Capital Region (NCR) of India; the data were collected through a structured questionnaire utilizing a seven-point Likert scale while implementing a purposive sampling technique. Findings The perceived service quality dimensions identified were tangibility, reliability, assurance, responsiveness, empathy, and image. The empirical findings revealed that “responsiveness” was found to be the most significant predictor of customer satisfaction. On the other hand, “image” (corporate image) has a positive but the least significant relationship with customer satisfaction followed by all other constructs. The exception is “reliability,” which is insignificantly related to customer satisfaction in Indian public sector banks. Research limitations/implications The study cannot be generalized in the context of Indian banking sectors, as it only focused on the public sector. The findings of this study suggest that the six dimensions of perceived service quality model are a suitable instrument for evaluating bank service quality for public banks in India. Therefore, bank managers can use this model to assess the bank service quality in the context of Indian public sector banks. Originality/value There is dearth of research focusing on corporate image as a dimension of perceived service quality and its effect on customer satisfaction in the Indian banking context. Furthermore, similar studies were rarely found in the Indian context, especially within the public banking sector. Hence, this paper attempts to accomplish the research gap by empirically testing the satisfaction level of a large sample of the population in NCR toward six dimensions of perceived service quality rendered by selected public sector banks in India.

Research to analyze customer satisfaction at optimal postal parcel delivery service at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Branch Pontianak. Dimension-imensi examined are reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. This study used survey methods, data collection techniques, namely: observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation study. Samples used as many as 100 people by using purposive sampling. analysis using Cartesian diagram. The results of this study indicate that the majority of respondents were satisfied with the service of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Branch Pontianak with an average satisfaction level of 3.91 and the value of the average rate of interest of 4.34 dimension of service quality the most satisfied customers is assurance dimension and physical evidence, where the majority of respondents' votes are in quadrant B, which means that the interest and customer satisfaction are at a high level and in accordance with the wishes of the consumer. Dimensional quality of services that they are in quadrant A, which means the consumer is not satisfied then it should be further enhanced by the company. While the dimensions of the quality of services that are in quadrant C and D in which the interests of consumers are at a low level is considered normal practice even though consumers are satisfied because it is not very important.Keywords: Satisfaction, Service Quality Dimensions Services

The purpose of this paper is to empirically investigate the influence of dimensions of service quality towards satisfaction in the context of Indian retail market. The paper focused to examine the relationship between satisfaction and service quality dimensions. A study has been conducted on 20 supermarkets in Kadapa district, A.P. India. The results of this research indicate that retail service quality positively influences satisfaction and trust. It is found that satisfaction also positively influences trust and loyalty. Satisfaction and trust mediate the relationship between retail service quality and loyalty on customer satisfaction.
