The concept of dashboard performance is an information system application model provided for managers to present performance quality information, from a company or organizational institution, dashboards have been widely adopted by companies or businesses. In this study, the authors designed a dashboard that was used as a monitoring system for lecturer posting activities at Binadarma University, Palembang. The limitation of the dashboard in this study only displays data based on lecturer posts which will be developed in the form of a website. Dashboard design is more effective and efficient than viewing data manually, which requires managers to open a database to view data one by one from lecturers' posts. In making the lecturer website dashboard, the data taken is in the form of posting data stored in the lecturer database, the data that has been taken will be presented in the dashboard in the form of graphs, tables and dashboards.

ABSTRACT: Disclosure and monitoring policy are studied, where disclosure relates to information about the monitoring system. A moral hazard model is presented where employee monitoring occurs with some exogenous probability and the owner privately learns whether he will be monitoring before the employee chooses his productive action. Disclosure policy is an owner choice between revealing to the employee whether he will be monitoring before the action (Disclosure) or remaining silent (Secrecy). The results rely on the joint presence of risk aversion and limited liability. Risk aversion creates an efficiency/risk tradeoff where secrecy obtains risk-sharing benefits. Limited liability reduces these benefits, allowing preference for disclosure. Lower monitoring probabilities increase the risk premium required to obtain effort with secrecy. For small monitoring probabilities, disclosure is preferred even though less efficient production is achieved, because disclosure provides a greater risk-sharing benefit. For high monitoring probabilities, secrecy is preferred because it leads to greater efficiency despite a greater risk premium.

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to explicitly focus on the roles of ownership concentration, ownership by the board, the chief executive officer (CEO) and the chairperson in the involvement and capabilities of chairpersons and other governors in their work. Design/methodology/approach – In this study, the authors investigate the impact of the concentration of ownership, the ownership of the board, the CEO and the chairperson on the chairperson’s activity when the roles of the chairperson and the CEO are separated The empirical analysis of this study is based on a survey sent to Nordic listed firms. Findings – The results show that the ownership characteristics of a company are important in determining the chairperson’s working hours, the chairperson’s communication with the CEO and the performance of governance activity. In addition, the authors found that while the ownership of the chairperson and the board of directors and ownership concentration improve governance activity, CEO ownership may undermine governance activity. Research limitations/implications – The primary implication of the study is that both ownership by internal governors and ownership concentration play an important role in determining the involvement of internal corporate governors. Originality/value – The study provides unique evidence that ownership by the chairperson, concentrated ownership and ownership by the board can potentially mitigate the costs of separating the roles of the chairperson and the CEO.

Abstract Lecturers in their daily activities have three obligations, known as “three pillars of higher education.” Insufficient monitoring of lecturers' performance in their mandatory activities may cause difficulty for university leaders to obtain regular reports from lecturers. We built a system on a web-based basis with the waterfall method, contained an input page for the performance of lecturers in their mandatory activity, which will generate performance reports, including the working hours every week. Some Persons are required to monitor the activities of each lecturer in every semester. We started to trace the reference for the credit score guideline from the ministry of education and culture, then we conduct interviews with Human Resources Department for monitoring system design. The systems created using the waterfall framework and system modeling using the unified modeling language (UML). Before implementation, we were conducting testing by sharing the user guide and giving the involved entities the opportunity to learn it. Testing is more emphasized on aspects of mastery of the use of the system. The outcome of this work is a system that can record the performance of all lecturers digitally, and lecturer performance information can be accessed by the university as a materiall for further assessments. Keywords: performance, monitoring, system, three pillars of higher education, lecturer.
