COVID-19 berdampak pada beberapa aspek kehidupan manusia sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kesejahteraan hidup seseorang. Salah satu hal yang dapat digunakan sebagai bentuk coping untuk menghadapi masa pandemi yang mendatangkan stres untuk sebagian orang ini adalah aktivitas seksual yang pada akhirnya dapat menyebabkan munculnya perilaku penyimpangan seksual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian literatur terkait penyimpangan seksual sehingga menemukan faktor penyebab munculnya perilaku penyimpangan seksual. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan mereview beberapa jurnal penelitian. Penyebab munculnya perilaku penyimpangan seksual dapat diulas dengan pendekatan behavioristik, psikoanalisis dan kognitif. Dengan adanya reinforcement dapat menyebabkan perilaku terjadi berulang dan pengalaman masa lalu seseorang yang tidak menyenangkan dapat menjadi salah satu penyebab munculnya penyimpangan seksual. Penangan yang dapat diberikan untuk mengurangi perilaku tersebut adalah dengan CBT. Temuan ini dapat menjadi salah satu acuan teori yang dapat digunakan oleh peneliti selanjutnya dalam mencari tahu penyebab munculnya penyimpangan seksual dan menemukan penanganan yang efektif dan spesifik. COVID-19 is undoubtedly having an immerse impact on well being. One way of coping to tackle the impact of this pandemic outbreaks is through sexual activity which can cause the development of sexual deviation. The purpose of this literature review is to gain understanding of the existing research and theories relevant to sexual deviation, and to present the review in the form of a report. Sexual deviation can be explained from the perspective of behavioristic, psychoanalytic, and cognitive. Reinforcement can cause the behavior to be repeated and traumatic childhood experience may result in sexual deviance. One way to treat sexual deviance is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). We believe the result of this study can be used as reference to find the cause of sexual deviation and come up with specific treatment.

Latar belakang: Studi literature review ini dilatar belakangi oleh masalah psikologis yang sering terjadi pada remaja yaitu harga diri rendah. Harga diri meningkat seiring bertambahnya usia dan paling terancam selama masa remaja. Bentuk penghargaan, penerimaan serta pengakuan membuat seseorang berharga dan diakui kehadirannya oleh lingkungan. Implikasi dari harga diri rendah, akan muncul masalah hubungan interpersonal, masalah dalam sekolah dan pekerjaan, ketergantungan zat, depresi atau gangguan mental lainnya. Tujuan: Literature ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis secara teoritik pengaruh Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) terhadap peningkatan harga diri pada remaja. Metode: Metode kajian literatur dilakukan terhadap lima artikel yang diperoleh dari sejumlah dua database Google Scholar dan PUBMED. Kata kunci untuk pencarian artikel adalah “Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)”, ”harga diri rendah”, “self esteem”,“treatment”,“remaja”,”Teenager” or ”Adolecent”. Kriteria artikel yang digunakan berbahasa Inggris dan Indonesia, diterbitkan  dari  tahun  2016 sampai 2018. Hasil : tinjauan ini menunjukkan nilai yang signifikan yaitu dari ketiga artikel menujukan nilai (p< 0.05) yang artinya adanya pengaruh dari terapi kognitif atau cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) terhadap peningkatan harga diri pada remaja. Kesimpulan: terapi kognitif atau cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) merupakan terapi yang diyakini dapat meningkatkan harga diri rendah pada remaja sehingga diharapkan tenaga kesehatan dapat menerapkan terapi kognitif untuk mengurangi tingkat harga diri rendah pada remaja.

Parents of children with developmental disabilities usually experience stress, grief, and isolation. Asian American parents may experience higher stress and other difficulties due to their cultural background, discrimination, and different acculturation status. Parental well-being also has an impact on the parent–child interaction and the child’s development. Psychological and educational intervention for parents of children with developmental disabilities has been studied from different approaches, such as family system and cognitive behavior therapy. The possibility of integrating cognitive behavior therapy and structural family therapy was also proposed.

Self-esteem accorded a prominent role in the transition adolescence to adulthood. High self-esteem was associated with life satisfaction and predicts success and well-being in life domains. Otherwise, low self-esteem predicted depressive symptoms and as an indicator of various forms of internalizing and externalizing psychopathology. This study aimed to determine effectiveness the principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to increase self-esteem. This study uses single-subject research design. The participant of this study is a 13 years 8 months old girl who has low self-esteem. Self-esteem was measured by a Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI) from Coopersmith (1967), adolescent’s behavior was measured by Child Behavioral Checklist (CBCL), and supported by interview with adolescent and parent. This intervention consists of three stages, such as the pre-intervention that consists of one session, the intervention that consists of eight sessions, and the post-intervention that consist of one session. The result of this study indicates that CBT can increase self-esteem, especially in certain domains, such as school and general self. Meanwhile, adolescent’s behavior also changes, especially in thought problem aspect. However, other problem experienced by adolescent can be obstacle to effectiveness the principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to increase self-esteem.

The main problem in this study is the lack of self-control of students in class XI IPS SMAN 1 Batipuh. The purpose of this study was to see how much influence the group counseling approach to Cognitive Behavior Therapy to improve self-control of students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Batipuh. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental methods. The design used in this study was pre-experimental design with the type of one group pretest-posttest design, namely by measuring the self-control of the experimental group students by using the same instrument in the pretest and posttest measurements. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Batipuh, the sample in this study were 10 students who have low self-control. The results showed that cognitive behavior therapy approach group counseling had a significant effect on student self control. This can be seen based on the results of "t" count with df or db 9, with a significance level of 0.5% obtained that (16.8)> tt (1.83) can thus be interpreted that the cognitive behavior therapy approach group counseling influential significant to the self-control of students of class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Batipuh
