The paper discusses the strategies of green building materials, the personal safety problems and ecological materials, the appropriate and reliable technology, effective planning and design, interdisciplinary working and integrated collaboration in research on green building materials. In addition to these, the article studies the main categories of green building materials, including ecological safety materials, low-carbon materials, and recycled-content materials. This article also argues the strategy of earthquake resistant materials and structural strategy, the role of seismic designs in ecological safety strategies, reliable technology and conceptual design of earthquake engineering, etc.

That paper shows the most important thesis of the author’s dissertation. The dissertation mainly realizes diagnostic aims. The problem takes up in it concerns the real role of local government in ecological safety promotion. The basis point of reference is the typology of instruments and styles of realization social policy. Ecological safety is one of the more important needs of humans. On the other hand, the local government in the typology of entity realizing social policy is located as a public and legal entity, which acts on a local scale. The adoption method of study case has been a way to realize cognitive aim and grant research appliqué value, comparison base for different local governments. The dissertation has theoretical value, too (there is indirectly check the accuracy of safety promotion definition during research). The statement, that local government ought to and able to be a teacher in ecological safety matters can be considered as basis conclusions.

This study examined the content of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) in Tanya winter wheat plants depending on the concentration of an aqueous solution of catholyte (EKhAV-K) combined with foliar fertilizing with FlorHumate. In all phases of the growing season, tillering–stooling–heading, an increase in the content of N in the leaf and stem mass by 0.04%, 0.19% and 0.07% was shown; the content of P increased by 0.04%, 0.03% and 0.05%; and that of K raised by 0.07%, 0.09% and 0.06%. A 20% aqueous solution of EKhAV-K (pH = 9.0 and ORP = –50 mV) promoted better assimilation of N, P and K from fertilizers. The ecological safety of the wheat grain was established. The accumulation of N, P2О5 and K2О in the experimental variant of the grain was 3.09%, 8.90% and 9.09%, respectively, which was more than in the control variant. Keywords: winter wheat, foliar nutrition, catholyte, role

An urban area is the most important form of space-time interaction between society and nature. It is in the urbanized area that environmental problems are most acute. The developed Strategy of Ecological Safety of Russia for the period up to 2025 almost does not consider the role of geoenvironmental factors in the overall safety of the city. This article defines their place in the system of general ecological safety of urban areas. The structure of geoenvironmental hazards is introduced, and an example of their relationship is given. The algorithm of assessment is proposed and a version of the geoenvironmental safety system is developed for the urban area.

AbstractWhitehouse adapts insights from evolutionary anthropology to interpret extreme self-sacrifice through the concept of identity fusion. The model neglects the role of normative systems in shaping behaviors, especially in relation to violent extremism. In peaceful groups, increasing fusion will actually decrease extremism. Groups collectively appraise threats and opportunities, actively debate action options, and rarely choose violence toward self or others.

AbstractIntuitions guide decision-making, and looking to the evolutionary history of humans illuminates why some behavioral responses are more intuitive than others. Yet a place remains for cognitive processes to second-guess intuitive responses – that is, to be reflective – and individual differences abound in automatic, intuitive processing as well.
