This project is concerned with the application of the ZigBee communication standard for implementing a temperature measurement system. Due to ZigBee's low-power and low data rate features, it is ideal for analog sensor systems. Digi's ZigBee devices called XBee are used in this project. The XBee devices meet all the ZigBee standard. The XBee device has the advantage of being programmed with API firmware (application programming interface). XBee's API provides fast and reliable communication between the remote stations and the base station. The remote station has three different modules: power supply, temperature sensor and XBee device. The power supply is designed to output 3.3V. The temperature sensor is designed so that the output stays within the XBee's maximum analog input voltage range of 0V to 1.2V. The XBee device is programmed as a router. The base station has three different modules: Arduino microcontroller, LCD display and XBee device. The Arduino is programmed to receive the analog readings from the XBee device and convert them into temperature readings The temperature readings are displayed on the LCD display. The XBee device is programmed as a coordinator. The design successfully worked for 3 remote stations and 1 base station.

A new-type LED switching power supply circuit using flyback converter is designed based on current-mode PFC controller chip L6562. The circuit has some characteristics such as simple structure, wide input voltage range, output stability and reliable operation. The experimental results show that the system efficiency is up to 89.46% when the input voltage changes from 85V to 265V(AC), meanwhile the system works stably with constant current and constant voltage output.

A steady output single-ended flyback switching power supply using L6561 current mode PWM controller designed in this paper. The designed circuit consists of single-ended flyback topology and based on the peak current PWM technology. The circuit has input voltage range from 85V AC to 265V AC and about output drive capability of 12V/2A. Based on the specific chip L6561, the novel single-ended flyback AC/DC converting circuit is adapted for mobile or office equipment, off-line battery chargers. The low-power Switched-Mode Power Supply (SMPS) are the most noticeable examples of application that this configuration can fit. The testing results show that the design of this method can reduce the switching power supply ripple, and ensure stable voltage output.

The circuit of series switching power supply based on voltage and current dual-loop control is proposed, which can work in the voltage range from 12V to 90V. It is less influence to working state when capacitive load is accessed. The circuit have the function of quickly response, short circuit protection and overcurrent protection. The power supply have advantages of low-cost and working stability, which can be used to different various industry alarms and blasting signal lights in the wide voltage range.
