One of the algorithms stored in natural intelligence is the writing of Arabic numerals in Indonesian words. Algorithms in naturals intelligence are not easy to find. This problem gave us an idea to create artificial intelligence that tries to mimic natural intelligence algorithms. The proposed algorithm for building artificial intelligence is an R-Z rule-based system. This rule-based system contains a knowledge base of R-Z rules and a knowledge base of facts. In the knowledge base, the R-Z rule provides the R rule and the Z rule, while the facts knowledge base provides facts in the form of a definite standard number and an affix word. R-Z rule-based system for reasoning writing Arabic numerals in Indonesian words uses forward chaining. Artificial intelligence designs that mimic naturals intelligence in writing numbers in Indonesian words were made in C using Borland C++ 5.02 software. The experimental results show that by applying the R's rule of seven rules and Z's of twenty-five rules, the R-Z rule-based system can write Arabic numerals in Indonesian words from Arabic numerals "0" to Arabic numerals "9999999". For example, to write the Arabic number "10" in Indonesian words, the R-Z rule-based system starts with the R2 rule. Rule R2 takes action on Z3 to create new facts about Arabic numerals in the Indonesian word, namely "SEPULUH."

Interdisciplinary research provides in¬spirations and insights into how a variety of disciplines can contribute to the formulation of an alternative path to artificial cognition systems. It has been suggested that results from ethology, evolutionary theory and epistemology can be condensed into four boundary conditions. They lead to the outline of an architecture for genuine cognitive systems, which seeks to overcome traditional problems known from artificial intelligence research. Two major points are stressed: (a) The maintenance of explanatory power by favoring an advanced rule-based system rather than neuronal systems, and (b) the organizational closure of the cognitive apparatus, which has far-reaching implications for the creation of meaningful agents.

<p>This research project is about the managing of an ENT ( Ear Nose Throat) diagnosis expert system through the virtual doctor that can assist physicians in diagnosing ENT related diseases. ENT problems can distress hearing, speaking, learning and many other significant behaviors and untreated ENT diseases can be serious. Therefore, early diagnose of ENT diseases is fundamental. This study is qualitative in nature where we have used the concept of Virtual Doctor under artificial intelligence (AI) based expert system, already designed to assist physicians in the diagnosis of ENT related disease in the absence of ENT experts. This system can reduce the excess created due to the busy schedules of ENT experts and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of healthcare system. Virtual Doctor for ENT diagnosis uses rule based system for knowledge representation and has sub-systems which can enhance the physician’s ability in reaching a diagnosis decision with assurance. In this paper, we described the management system for application of Virtual Doctor for the diagnosis of  ENT related diseases which can be used by physicians in their daily practice.</p>

The solar system is one of the natural phenomena taught at school. However, delivering the material is still text-based. One of the current technology-based learning uses technology Augmented Reality as a support for learning aid. Augmented Reality is an integrated two worlds, the real and the virtual. Augmented Reality for the solar system learning application was developed by applying the concept of the Rule-Based System algorithm as a simple artificial intelligence that aims to help augmented reality systems in simulating knowledge and experience from humans with several rules prepared. The existence of Augmented Reality facilitates the process of learning on specific topics such as the solar system more attractive and interactive, with aims to inspire students to learn the solar system. Based on the testing results at SDN Purwantoro 2 Malang, Indonesia 95% of respondents are interested and captivated by learning media applications using Augmented Reality technology.

AbstrakKekurangan gizi menjadi salah satu masalah yang dialami oleh masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya defisiensi mineral mikro. Pada dasarnya hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat akan pentingnya pola konsumsi makanan seimbang serta kemiskinan yang dialami oleh sebagian masyarakat sehingga mereka sulit memenuhi asupan gizi setiap hari dan sulit menemui seorang ahli atau dokter gizi. Hal ini dapat diatasi melalui pembuatan sebuah aplikasi berbasis web yang mampu mendeteksi defisiensi mineral mikro pada manusia secara dini, serta memberikan saran untuk mengatasi defisiensi tersebut. Aplikasi ini menggunakan sekumpulan data sebagai basis pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari studi pustaka dan diskusi dengan pakar gizi. Pengetahuan direpresentasikan dalam bentuk rule-based system dan diolah dengan metode forward chaining.Aplikasi ini dapat diakses dan digunakan oleh pengguna melalui internet. Pembuatan aplikasi ini dapat membantu masyarakat dalam menyadari pentingnya asupan mineral mikro dalam tubuh dan juga mendorong mereka untuk memiliki kebiasaan hidup yang sehat.  Kata kunci— gizi, mineral, aplikasi web, rule-based, forward chaining.  Abstract Malnutrition is the one of the Indonesian society issues, especially micro mineral deficiency. Basically, this is due to a lack of society understanding of the importance of balanced food consumtion patterns and poverty factor in Indonesia so that they are difficult to fulfill the daily nutritional intake and also difficult to meet a doctor or nutrition expert. This can be overcome through the creating of a web-based application which can detecting micro mineral deficiency in the human body at the early stage, as well as providing suggestions to overcome those deficiency. This application uses a set of data as a knowledge base which obtained from the literature and discussions with nutritional experts. The knowledge is represented with a rule-based system and processed with forward chaining method.This application can be accessed and used by users via internet. This application can helps the society to realize the importance of micro mineral intake and also encourage them to have healthy life habits. Keywords— nutrient, mineral, web application, rule-based, forward chaining.

Penyakit demam typhoid dan demam berdarah dengue merupakan penyakit yang umum di Indonesia. Kedua penyakit ini memiliki gejala yang hampir sama. Apabila pada saat menangani pasien, dokter salah mengetahui jenis penyakit yang diderita, hal ini dapat menyebabkan kematian. Oleh karena itu, dibuatlah Sistem pakar pendiagnosa penyakit demam typhoid dan demam berdarah dengue. Sistem pakar ini dibangun menggunakan metode inferensi forward chaining. Metode inferensi forward chaining ini diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman C#. Sistem pakar yang dirancang dalam skripsi ini merupakan rule-based expert system. Dari hasil uji coba sistem dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat keakuratan sistem adalah 93,33%, rata – rata waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mendiagnosa penyakit menggunakan sistem ini adalah 3,16 menit. Tingkat keakuratan sistem bergantung pada knowledge base yang disimpan dalam database

The needs for continuous quality improvement resulting in the more complex. The research aims to develop system of quality assurance evaluation using rule based system to monitor the quality of higher education. This process of the research begins by documenting the daily activity of study program which consists of lecturer data, research data, service data, staff data, student data, and infrastructure data into a database. The data were evaluated by using rule based system  by adopting rules on quality standards of study program of National Accreditation Board for Higher Education as the knowledge base. Evaluation process was carried out by using the forward chaining methods by matching the existing data to the knowledge base to determine the quality status of each quality standard. While the reccomendation process was carried out by using the backward chaining methods by matching the results of quality status to the desired projection of quality status to determine the nearest target which can be achieved. The result of the research is system of quality assurance evaluation with rule based system that is capable of producing an output system in the form of internal evaluation report and recommendation system that can be used to monitor the quality of higher education.
