CV. XYZ adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dibidang produksi sarana prasarana lalu lintas seperti RPPJ, PJU, rambu-rambu, dan trafic light. Masalah yang timbul pada perusahaan ini adalah kurang efisiennya lini produksi tiang Rambu Pendahulu Penunjuk Jurusan (RPPJ), yang ditandai dengan munculnya waktu delay yang menyebabkan bottleneck pada sejumlah stasiun kerja. Hal ini disebabkan oleh tidak seimbangnya pembagian beban kerja pada setiap stasiun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan efisiensi lini produksi dengan pendekatan keseimbangan lintasan. Keseimbangan lintasan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dengan pemerataan beban kerja disetiap stasiun. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yaitu Moodie Young dan Ranked Positional Weight. Kedua metode ini memiliki karakteristik yang serupa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan keseimbangan lintasan, yaitu dengan penggunaan matriks hubungan antar elemen kerja. Hasil perbandingan metode akan dipilih berdasarkan tingkat efisiensi dan smoothes index terbaik sebagai solusi dari permasalahan keseimbangan lintasan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan metode Moodie Young sebagai solusi optimal, karena memiliki line efficiency sebesar 85,06%, balance delay sebesar 14,94%, dan smoothes index sebesar 47,51, dengan jumlah stasiun kerja sebanyak 9 stasiun kerja. CV.XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of traffic infrastructure such as RPPJ, PJU, signs, and traffic light. The problem that arises in this company is the inefficient production of the Traffic Direction Sign (RPPJ) pole line production, which is characterized by the emergence of time delays that cause bottlenecks at a number of work stations. This is caused by the unequal distribution of workload at each station. The purpose of this study is to improve the efficiency of the production line with the line balancing approach. Line balancing can increase efficiency by equalizing workload at each station. The methods used to solve the problem are Moodie Young and Ranked Positional Weight. Both of these methods have similar characteristics in solving the problem of line balancing, namely by using a matrix of relationships between work elements. The results of the method comparison will be chosen based on the best level of efficiency and smoothes index as a solution to the problem of line balancing. The results of this study are the use of the Moodie Young method as an optimal solution, because it has a line efficiency of 85.06%, a balance delay of 14.94%, and a smoothes index of 47.51, with a total of 9 work stations.

PT XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri mebel. Masalah yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah adanya ketidakseimbangan di lintasan produksi akibat ketidakmerataan pembagian beban kerja di setiap stasiun kerja. Hal ini menyebabkan performansi keseimbangan lintasan (line performance) menjadi kurang baik. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan ini perlu dilakukan penyeimbangan lintasan produksi. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan metode line balancing yaitu metode penugasan sejumlah pekerjaan yang saling berkaitan dalam satu lintasan produksi sehingga setiap stasiun kerja memiliki waktu yang tidak melebihi waktu siklus dari stasiun kerja tersebut. Metode line balancing yang digunakan adalah metode heuristik yang terdiri dari: metode bobot posisi (Ranked Positional Weight), metode pembebanan berurut (Large Candidate Rule), dan metode pendekatan wilayah (Region Approach). Dari ketiga metode Heuristik yang digunakan sebagai solusi penyeimbangan lintasan, terjadi perbaikan performansi dengan nilai yang sama pada lintasan produksi. Nilai efisiensi lintasan (line efficiency) meningkat menjadi 94,07 % dari 62,71 % pada kondisi awal. Nilai keseimbangan waktu senggang (balance delay) turun menjadi 5,92 % dari 37,28 % pada kondisi awal. Waktu menganggur (idle time) turun menjadi 12,39 menit dari 116,87 menit pada kondisi awal. Nilai smoothness index juga turun menjadi 7,44 dari 64,67 pada kondisi awal. PT XYZ is one of the company which refers to furniture industries sector. The problem which faced by this company is unbalance of the production line which is caused by the unequal of work responsibility distribution in each work station. This problem caused the performance of line balance doesn’t work properly. To solve this problem we need to do the line balancing of production line. It can be done by line balancing methode that assigns a number of work which is related in one production line until each work station has efficient time which is not more than the cycle time of the work station. Line balancing methode that used is heuristic methode which is devided into ranked positional weight methode, large candidate rule methode, and region approach methode. From those three heuristic methode that used as solution of line balancing, there was improvement happenned with the same value in doors of production line. Line efficiency increased into 94,07% from 62,71% at the beginning condition. Balance delay increased into 5,92% from 37,28% at the beginning condition. The idle time descreased into 12,39 minutes from 116,87 minutes at the beginning condition. The smoothness index descreased into 7,44 from 64,67 at the beginning condition.

The existence of operational balance in each production lines may decrease the idle time; it shows that the productivity is increasing therefore it increases the production rate. The issues existed in the production process of hollow Dakota 1730 in PT. XYZ were 3 departments, from the result of the first observation, there was a bottleneck from each department and each production did not achieve the required target. Therefore, this research would fix the production line. The method used was ranked /positional weight. Based on the data processing by the ranked positional weight method, gained the total of work station in the production process of hollow Dakota 1730 by the number of 2 work stations. From the result of efficiency balancing, gained 62.5% and balance delay value was 37.5%. it shows that the balance performance between each department increases significantly.

According to Assemble line balancing (ALB) problem which is widespread in manufacture, we establish a mathematical model and present our improved algorithm that is based on Heuristic rules, which adopt cumulative ranked positional weight as a basis of task assignments and schedule the orders of branches traversal. After that we can find an optimal solution to the balancing problem efficiently. The result of examples given by this paper shows our algorithm has a good performance.

Balancing assembly line in a mass production system plays a vital role to improve the productivity of a manufacturing system. In this paper, a single model assembly line balancing problem (SMALBP) is considered. The objective of this problem is to group the tasks in the assembly network into a minimum number of workstations for a given cycle time such that the balancing efficiency is maximized. This problem comes under combinatorial category. So, it is essential to develop efficient heuristic to find the near optimal solution of the problem in less time. In this paper, an attempt has been made to design four different genetic algorithm (GA)-based heuristics, and analyze them to select the best amongst them. The analysis has been carried out using a complete factorial experiment with three factors, viz. problem size, cycle time, and algorithm, and the results are reported.

The development of the savings and loan business is currently growing rapidly as a financial institution in alleviating poverty . BumDes is a business owned by a village or sub-district that is engaged in lending or channeling funds to people who need to develop their business. The BUMDes conducts deliberation meetings in determining loan granting. There is often disagreement between the parties that will borrow. This resulted in unequal distribution of loans to BUMDes members. Although the determination of the granting of the loan amount is fully determined by the BUMDes However, this Decision Support System will display the highest to lowest priorities of the prospective customer , so that it will facilitate and assist the BUMDes in making decisions. TOPSIS uses the principle that the chosen alternative must have the closest distance from the positive ideal solution and the longest distance (farthest) from the negative ideal solution to determine the relative proximity of an alternative to the optimal solution.
