Interpreter in Criminal Proceeding This article presents the role of an interpreter in criminal proceedings, Polish and international regulations governing the obligation to appoint an interpreter for criminal procedural activities, the problems of interpreters’ cooperation with justice authorities, and the results of a survey on the experiences of sworn interpreters who provide interpreting services to the Police, the prosecutor’s office, and the courts in criminal proceedings in the following aspects: ensuring safety in the course of the activities, expectations of foreigners and authorities’ representatives towards the interpreter, preparing the interpreter’s work station and ensuring appropriate working conditions, as well as agreeing upon an appropriate remuneration for interpreters. A total of fifty-five sworn interpreters who regularly provide interpreting services to justice authorities took part in the survey. Their task was to complete a questionnaire consisting of fourteen questions, half of which were closed single-choice questions and the rest were open-ended questions.

PT. ABC is a company engaged in the manufacture of Dolomite Fertilizer. The number of requests is greater than the amount of production. Due to fluctuations in the number of requests that tend to increase, this occurs due to a lack of capacity at the workstation. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the capacity requirements planning analysis for each work station to know the company's capacity needs. The research aims to identify the shortage/excess production capacity and provide proposals for the balance of production capacity at PT. A B C. Production capacity research was conducted using the Capacity Requirement Planning (CRP) method. Results and Discussion, comparison of available capacity and required capacity (load) are as follows, work station jaw crusher available capacity 36.74 hours/week while required capacity (load) 36 hours/week, work station bucket elevator available capacity 36, 74 hours/week while the required capacity (load) is 14.4 hours/week, work station ball mill available capacity is 36.74 hours/week while the required capacity (load) is 45.6 hours/week, and work station silo flour the available capacity is 36.74 hours/week while the required capacity (load) is 51.59 hours/week. In conclusion, two stations experience excess capacity, namely the jaw crusher work station with an excess capacity of 0.74 hours/week and the bucket elevator work station with an excess capacity of 22.34 hours/week. The other two work stations experienced a lack of capacity, namely the ball mill work station with a capacity shortage of 22.34 hours/week and the silo flour work station with a capacity shortage of 14.85 hours/week. Efforts to balance capacity by scheduling overtime and adding equipment (machinery) to work centers that lack capacity, so that the company's production targets are achieved.

The development of the industrial world is getting tighter, making each company must be able to overcome productivity to meet consumer demand. In increasing productivity, of course, you must make the production process efficient. One thing that can be done is to make line balancing. The purpose of this study is to identify and propose a track balance to make the production process more efficient. The data used in this research is in the form of the initial conditions of the work station and the type of work. The method used to identify the optimal trajectory balance is the Ranked Position Weight (RPW). From the results of data processing, it is known that the initial conditions of work stations on the control panel assembly are 5 stations and 16 types of work. From the results of the calculation of cycle time and the number of stations, the optimal number of stations is reduced to 3 work stations. After calculating using the Ranked Position Weight method, it is known that the 16 types of work can be grouped into 3 work stations. Then the balance delay is obtained after reducing the work station, which is 5.48% from the initial condition of 43.29%. Then the line efficiency after station reduction is 94.52% from the initial condition of 56.71%. Then the smoothing index after improvement was 0.983 from the initial condition of 6.128. From the results of the three indicators, it can be seen that the reduction of the station gives better results.

Working long hours on certain job sequences can lead to complaints on the operator like musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). The UD Karunia Sentosa Utama is a manufacturing company that specializes in sock production. Observation on the UD Karunia Sentosa Utama found that the work station of the som engine section had a narrow, less-ergonomic area for the operator. The study aims to find out how much risk and risk factors an operator might be able to experience at the sock som work station section. Research based on its properties includes quantitative work in which research involves quantifying or quantifying data. Based on an analysis of the Nordic body map (NBM) questionnaires, from the scoring already done the results of a total individual score of 51. Based on the percentage of complaints from histogram processing obtained 39.3% point of no pain found, 39.3% found little pain, and 21.4% found pain. From the final scor for RULA, score was obtained by 6, whether it was from the ergofellow software or from the calculations. 6 the most high-risk points include (occipital, left shoulder, back, waist, hip, buttocks).

Konveksi memiliki peran yang besar terhadap peningkatan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat. Akan tetapi, proses kerja di industri konveksi memiliki risiko kesehatan dan keselamatan terhadap pekerja. Hasil observasi pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa pekerja konveksi X bekerja lebih dari 12 jam per hari. Diketahui pula bahwa tempat kerja (work station) yang digunakan kurang ergonomis. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi yang relevan terkait aspek ergonomi terhadap pembuat tas. Pemberian informasi ergonomis dilakukan terhadap 6 orang pekerja konveksi PT. X. Advokasi melalui diskusi langsung dilakukan terhadap pemilik konveksi. Pre-Test dan Post-Test diberikan kepada pekerja yang menunjukkan peningkatan skor setelah dilakukan pemberian informasi. Pemilik konveksi X bersedia untuk mengubah work station dan penyesuaian tugas para pekerja. Diharapkan dengan peningkatan pengetahuan pada pekerja sekaligus penyesuaian work station dan tugas dapat menurunkan risiko keluhan musculoskeletal pada pekerja PT.X---It has been known that convection industry has the big impact to improve the social and economic aspects among society. However, the work processes in the industry have the health and safety risks. The preliminary observation shows that the workers of Convection X work more than 12 hours a day. It also been observed that the work station was lack of ergonomic aspect. The ergonomic information and knowledge were given to 6 workers. The advocation was conducted to the owner. Pre-Test and Post-Test was conducted to the workers and show the score improvement after the counselling was delivered. The owner agreed to change the work station and adjust the workers’ tasks.

We encountered a case with sudden and complete interruption of fresh gas ow in anesthesia workstation. On inquiry, it was found out that there was water in the medical gas pipeline system and a simultaneous malfunction of the dryer mechanism that lead to this condition. This case report emphasizes the importance of understanding the capabilities and limitations of the drager machine as well as of any anesthesia workstations being used to administer anaesthesia. In addition, this demonstrates the importance to being able to provide immediate backup ventilation in case of 1 ventilator failure.

Pengukuran sudut lumbosacral merupakan salah satu parameter dalam mengevaluasi kemungkinan etiologi dari nyeri punggung bawah yang disebabkan oleh degenerative disc disease. Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) Score digunakan untuk mengukur disabilitas pada nyeri punggung bawah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada korelasi antara sudut lumbosakral  berdasarkan MRI Lumbosakral dengan Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) Score pada degenerative disk disease. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional yang dilaksanakan di Departemen Radiologi RS dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar mulai bulan Mei sampai September 2020, didapatkan sampel sebanyak 67 pasien dengan keluhan nyeri punggung bawah dan telah mengisi kuisioner Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) Score serta menjalani pemeriksaan MRI lumbosacral. Pengukuran sudut lumbosacral dilakukan pada irisan mid sagital di work station MRI, derajat degenerative disc disease dinilai berdasarkan klasifikasi Pfirrmann. Metode  yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi Spearman dan Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi antara sudut lumbal lordosis (p=0,014), sudut sacral inclination (p=0,002), sudut sacral horizontal (p=0,034), umur  (p=0,0001) dengan degenerative disk disease. Tidak terdapat korelasi antara sudut lumbosacral disc (p=0,250), jenis kelamin (p=0,796), index massa tubuh (p=0,707) dengan degenerative disk disease. Adanya korelasi antara sudut lumbal lordosis (p=0,046), umur (p=0,0001), index massa tubuh (p0,0001) dengan ODI score. Tidak terdapat korelasi antara sudut lumbosacral disc (p=0,072), sudut sacral inclination (p=0,090), sudut sacral horizontal  (p=0,143),  jenis  kelamin  (p=0,337)  dengan  ODI   score. Adanya korelasi antara derajat degenerative disk disease dengan derajat ODI score (p=0,0001)

Abstract. CV. X is a textile company that manufactures sarong, napkin rags and other fabric materials. The core production process is carried out by the company with several process elements carried out by the company's business partners (subcontract). The fabrication process of a sarong product is carried out with a semi-automatic machine that is operated by an operator with some process elements that are carried out by a conventional operator. Based on the identification of work risks using the Quick Exposure Checklist (QEC) questionnaire, that operator works in a limited body posture condition so as to produce a score of more than 50% and the need for action in the near future. These results indicate how high this risks experienced by finishing work station operators. The condition of the operator working in a folded or squatting sitting position, forearm reach, dynamic hand movements plus limited operator motion because sitting without proper facilities is a major problem. If this is not treated as soon as possible it can have a negative impact on the operator such as physical fatigue, decreased operator performance to skeletal muscle injury (mosquletal disorder). Quick Exposure Checklist show that the occupational risk level of work is at level 3 (three) which shown a high score level that action is needed as soon as possible to minimize the risk of work. The proposed action to minimize the risk is to design an ergonomic work facility in accordance with the needs of the operator at the finishing work station using the Anthropometry method. Abstrak. CV. X merupakan perusahaan tekstil yang memproduksi kain sarung, lap serbet serta bahan kain lainnya. Proses produksi inti dilakukan oleh perusahaan dengan beberapa elemen proses yang dilakukan oleh mitra usaha perusahaan (subcont). Proses pabrikasi produk kain sarung dikerjakan dengan mesin-mesin semi otomatis yang dioperasikan operator dengan beberapa elemen proses yang dikerjakan operator secara konvensional. Berdasarkan identifikasi dan observasi resiko kerja menggunakan kuesioner Quick Exposure Checklist (QEC), operator bekerja pada kondisi postur tubuh yang terbatas sehingga menghasilkan hasil skor lebih dari 50% dan diperlukannya tindakan dalam waktu dekat. Hasil ini menunjukan besarnya resiko kerja yang dialami operator stasiun kerja finishing. Kondisi operator yang bekerja pada posisi duduk terlipat maupun jongkok, jangkauan tangan kedepan, pergerakan tangan yang dinamis ditambah terbatasnya gerak operator karena duduk tanpa ditunjang fasilitas yang layak menjadi faktor masalah utama. Jika hal ini tidak ditangani sesegera mungkin dapat mengakibatkan dampak negatif terhadap operator seperti kelelahan fisik, penurunan kinerja operator hingga cedera otot rangka (mosquletal disorder). Hasil penilaian resiko kerja Quick Exposure Checklist menunjukkan bahwa level resiko kerja pekerjaan berada pada level 3 (tiga) yang menunjukan level skor tinggi sehingga perlu dilakukannya tindakan dalam waktu dekat guna meminimasi besarnya resiko kerja. Tindakan yang diusulkan guna meminimasi resiko tersebut yaitu dengan merancang fasilitas kerja yang ergonomis sesuai dengan kebutuhan operator pada stasiun kerja finishing dengan menggunakan metode Antropometri.

Intellectually challenged children needs lot of effort to put things together and builds meaning in order to operate well in the environment. Low cognitive abilities becomes restrictive and thus develops either dependency on the care giver or negative behaviors among children. The current study aims to evaluate the fact that whether an effective structured teaching method, based on the components of TEACCH programme for Autism Spectrum Disorder can bring the same sense of independence and positive behaviors, as with children with other intellectually challenged children or not. For this a sample of 23 intellectually challenged children with different intellectual level and diagnoses other than ASD were evaluated on few standard structured components based on TEACCH methodology, on tasks which they have already mastered when presented in practice area i.e. independent work station. The present study indicates that previously students were becoming prompt dependent but after the introduction of structured teaching, they can function well independently. Some other aspects were also being noticed which can open areas of further research.
