The development of the savings and loan business is currently growing rapidly as a financial institution in alleviating poverty . BumDes is a business owned by a village or sub-district that is engaged in lending or channeling funds to people who need to develop their business. The BUMDes conducts deliberation meetings in determining loan granting. There is often disagreement between the parties that will borrow. This resulted in unequal distribution of loans to BUMDes members. Although the determination of the granting of the loan amount is fully determined by the BUMDes However, this Decision Support System will display the highest to lowest priorities of the prospective customer , so that it will facilitate and assist the BUMDes in making decisions. TOPSIS uses the principle that the chosen alternative must have the closest distance from the positive ideal solution and the longest distance (farthest) from the negative ideal solution to determine the relative proximity of an alternative to the optimal solution.

The Happy Savings and Loan Cooperative is one of the non-bank financial institutions in the form of cooperatives that serve the needs of its members in lending services with collateral in the form of member deposits, land or building certificates, books for motorized or automobile owners (BPKB) with the aim of providing services and facilities for candidates creditors in the economy. needs Lending funds to prospective creditors must also with the approval of the head of the cooperative / cooperative council. The agreement generally requires considerations such as analyzing the ability to pay prospective creditors. Because each prospective creditor has different economic conditions, it must be observant in making decisions. In determining whether a loan recipient is appropriate or not, there must be an assessment of the criteria established as a reference for decision making. TOPSIS is one of the multi-criteria decision-making methods first introduced by Yoon and Hwang (1981). TOPSIS uses the principle that the chosen alternative must have the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution and the longest distance (the farthest) from the negative ideal solution from a geometric point of view using the Euclidean distance (distance between two points) to determine the relative proximity of an alternative to the optimal solution. Analysis and design of a decision support system aims to deal with problems in selecting the best supplier which is a problem at PT. Independent male star. PT. Bintang Putra Mandiri is a company engaged in the subsidized housing contractor and developer. With the existing problems, we need a system that can help companies to help determine the best supplier. Then produced a system that can help companies by using the TOPSIS method. TOPSIS uses the principle that the chosen alternative must have the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution and the farthest distance from the negative ideal solution from a geometric point of view using the Euclidean distance to determine the relative proximity of an alternative to the optimal solution. As a result, PT. Bintang Putra Mandiri can determine the best supplier precisely. And the TOPSIS method is able to support supplier selection decisions by ranking

The paper proposes TOPSIS method for solving multi-objective multi-level programming problem (MO-MLPP) with fuzzy parameters via fuzzy goal programming (FGP). At first, - cut method is used to transform the fuzzily described MO-MLPP into deterministic MO-MLPP. Then, for specific , we construct the membership functions of distance functions from positive ideal solution (PIS) and negative ideal solution (NIS) of all level decision makers (DMs). Thereafter, FGP based multi-objective decision model is established for each level DM for obtaining individual optimal solution. A possible relaxation on decisions for all DMs is taken into account for satisfactory solution. Subsequently, two FGP models are developed and compromise optimal solutions are found by minimizing the sum of negative deviational variables. To recognize the better compromise optimal solution, the concept of distance functions is utilized. Finally, a novel algorithm for MO-MLPP involving fuzzy parameters is provided and an illustrative example is solved to verify the proposed procedure.

- Determination of outstanding teachers at Pondok Duta Islamic Middle School has been applied every year. This process is very important to improve the quality of human resources in the progress of Pondok Duta Islamic Middle School. In its implementation, the determination of teachers with pretensions is still considered subjective, because it is only based on personal opinions and is not based on certain criteria. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is often known as the weighted sum method. The basic concept of the method of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is to find a weighted sum of performance ratings on each alternative on all attributes. While the Technique for Order Performance of Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method uses the principle that the chosen alternative must have the longest (farthest) distance from the negative ideal solution from a geometric point of view using the relative proximity of an alternative. The two methods, namely the Technique for Order Performance of Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method can help in the process of determining the teacher to be prescribed who recommend results based on the main criteria that have been determined.

Properly evaluating the overall performance of tubular scraper conveyors (TSCs) can increase their overall efficiency and reduce economic investments, but such methods have rarely been studied. This study evaluated the overall performance of TSCs based on the technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS). Three conveyors of the same type produced in the same factory were investigated. Their scraper space, material filling coefficient, and vibration coefficient of the traction components were evaluated. A mathematical model of the multiattribute decision matrix was constructed; a weighted judgment matrix was obtained using the DELPHI method. The linguistic positive-ideal solution (LPIS), the linguistic negative-ideal solution (LNIS), and the distance from each solution to the LPIS and the LNIS, that is, the approximation degrees, were calculated. The optimal solution was determined by ordering the approximation degrees for each solution. The TOPSIS-based results were compared with the measurement results provided by the manufacturer. The ordering result based on the three evaluated parameters was highly consistent with the result provided by the manufacturer. The TOPSIS-based method serves as a suitable evaluation tool for the overall performance of TSCs. It facilitates the optimal deployment of TSCs for industrial purposes.

Large number of franchises that will be selected as well as indicators of many criteria, it is necessary to build a decision support system that will help decide which franchise to choose. The model used in the decision support system is a Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) and to perform calculations on the case MADM method in finding the best alternative based on the criteria specified use traditional methods TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) to perform the calculations. TOPSIS method is chosen as the method is based on the concept that the best alternative was chosen not only has the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution, but also has the longest distance from the negative ideal solution.

The distribution of scholarships is carried out to assist in the determination of recommending someone who deserves to receive a scholarship, a Decision Support System is needed because the system for selecting scholarship candidates is still manual, and has many weaknesses. The large number of scholarship participant applicants makes schools having difficulty handling manual data processing so that software is needed to simplify the data processing. There for not all students who apply to receive scholarships can be granted, because the number of students who apply is very large, it is very necessary to build an SPK with the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method which can help provide recommendation for scholarship recipients. Based on the analysis of the DSS with the TOPSIS method, it was carried out by means of a questionnaire, interview observation and system implementation. In the assessment of scholarship acceptance, it can be used as a basis for facilitating decisions on scholarship recipients because the system will process data and provide information quickly, precisely and consistently to the principal of students to receive the best scholarships to be awarded. Can form a decision that is right, effective and efficient in managing data on student recipients who are truly entitled to receive the scholarship. The TOPSIS method can be used to determine scholarship recipients, SPK in the assessment of scholarship acceptance can facilitate decisions in grade 7 students of SMP Negeri 17 Padang proportionally based on the results of student data processing including family cards, parents 'jobs, parents' income, number of dependents of parents and age parents accurately and accurately because the system can minimize errors in the process of calculating data normalization

Higher education is an education unit that able to carry out academic, professional and / or vocational programs. Lecturers are professional and scientific educators with the main task of transforming and developing, and disseminating science, technology and art through education, research and community service. The performance evaluation applies seven criterias, namely: attendance, teaching, research, dedication, loyalty, cooperation and responsibility. The problems are; the lecturers’ performance evaluation is not optimal yet because there is no specific method to implement it. Therefore, it is necessary to build a decision support system by applying the Technique For Others Reference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). This system will later help us in determining the best lecturer in accordance with the regulation. The TOPSIS method uses the principle that the chosen alternative must have the longest (farthest) distance from the negative ideal solution from geometric point of view using the relative proximity of an alternative. The alternative means the lecturers’ performance with predetermined criterias. This method produces a lecturers rankings based on the best performance on numerical scores and sorted by the greatest preference scores. The particular study used 5 lecturers as alternative to be tested. They were Lecturers 1, Lecturers 2, Lecturers 3, Lecturers 4, and Lecturers 5. The results showed that Lecturer 1 was the best lecturer with the biggest preference score of 0.612.

The desire to have a dream house makes people consider of the criteria of the house they will be lived. Many developers offer a variety of house alternatives ranging from price, location, design, building area and land area. Customers are pleased to choose their dream house as their desired. Based on that situation, this research is conduct to create a web-bases application for home selection that consider the useful criteria to help consumers choose a decent home by using the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The TOPSIS method has the concept that the best alternative has the shortest distance from a positive ideal solution and also has the farthest distance from a negative ideal solution. This TOPSIS method is applied to provide recommendations on the choice of home decisions in the South Tangerang area based on predetermined criteria. The results obtained in the TOPSIS calculation are the housing recommendations that are closest to the value of the calculation result.
