The system supports the company's performance appraisal using the AHP (Case Study: PT. Andhy Putra) method, one of which is to find, select, assess and determine the best employees every year to match the abilities and assessment criteria applied so far. PT. Andhy Putra while assessing employee performance, especially in CME and OSP, still experiences shortcomings and weaknesses in determining qualified employees. This employee performance system has problems in assessing the performance appraisal data that is less accurate, which is carried out on a paper-based basis and requires less efficient time and large costs. For that, we need a decision support system in helping PT. Andhy Putra to conduct a performance appraisal every year. The method used in this employee assessment is AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process), which is often also known as the weighting method. The process hierarchy analytical method is one of the methods used to find weight values based on existing criteria and helps facilitate the ranking of alternatives based on the distance between the positive ideal solution and the negative ideal solution. There are 5 (five) criteria as a tool to assess employee performance, namely commitment to the company, desire for achievement, cooperation, leadership and discipline accompanied by the results of the implementation of this process hierarchy method in the form of ranking the alternatives used. This decision support system is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database

One of the crucial projects underway in Egypt is the lining of watercourses to withstand the outflow of water through their beds and flanks. Various materials have been used in this project, including limestone, sandstone, basalt, and dolomite, along with other building materials. This study focused on the evaluation of rock characteristics to determine their suitability for the construction of a canal lining. All rock characteristics should be classified in terms of technical and economic concerns related to mining rock specifications, such as mechanical and physical properties, and evaluated according to their weights and ratings. As a rule of decision making, management stakeholders select the rock types. The primary purpose of canal linings is to reduce water loss due to seepage. Methodologically, we adopted the technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS), and derived an improved TOPSIS method based on experimental testing. This study attempted the first application of TOPSIS to canal linings and relevant construction materials. The analysis shows that limestone L1 is the best rock-building material for canal linings in Upper Egypt. Limestone L1 has the shortest geometric distance from the positive ideal solution and the longest geometric distance from the negative ideal solution. The results provide decision makers with strategic indicators to select among different rock types based on the total points assigned to all rock specifications.

Owing to vague concepts frequently represented in decision data, the crisp values are inadequate to model real-life situations. In this paper, the rating of each alternative and the weight of each criterion is described by linguistic terms which can be expressed in triangular fuzzy numbers. Next, we focus on fuzzy TOPSIS (FTOPSIS) method. We show that, however, the conventional FTOPSIS is interesting, but it suffers from some flaws. The shortcomings of classical FTOPSIS are shown and some solutions are given. Further, a new similarity index is proposed and then is illustrated using numerical examples. By treating the separations of an alternative from the fuzzy positive ideal solution (FPIS) and the fuzzy negative ideal solution (FNIS) as “cost” criterion and “benefit” criterion, respectively, we reduce the original fuzzy multiple criteria decision making (FMCDM) problem to a new one with two criteria. Illustrative examples are given to show the advantages of the proposed approach.

Padang State Polytechnic (PNP) is one of the state universities located in the city of Padang, which has 39 Learning Laboratory Institution Functional Officials, who were later told by PLP. PLP is a Civil Servant (PNS) who is given the task, responsibility, authority and right to carry out activities in the field of learning laboratory management. The problem that occurs is that the PLP does not know the exact time of application for promotion and functional positions of each. Some of the difficulties occur in managing the sub-division of personnel in finding archives. This article is always increasing and accumulating each period of acceptance. So this research aims to process this staffing data to make it easier and to accelerate the promotion process. The method used is the Decision Support System (DSS) in identifying priorities for proposals for functional promotion. The DSS method used is Technique For Order Preference By Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The results of this study have the reliability in considering the shortest distance to the positive ideal solution and also the longest distance to the negative ideal solution. The alternatives and criteria used in this study consisted of 5 alternatives and 3 criteria. The value of ideal positive and negative solutions has a maximum value of K1 which is 0.66, K2 is 0.022, K3 is 0.05 and a minimum value of K1 is 0.1, K2 is 0.017, K3 is 0.022. The highest score in ranking is 2 people with a score of 1 and the lowest is 1 person with a score of 0.0008. So this research is very helpful in identifying promotion priorities appropriately

The development of the savings and loan business is currently growing rapidly as a financial institution in alleviating poverty . BumDes is a business owned by a village or sub-district that is engaged in lending or channeling funds to people who need to develop their business. The BUMDes conducts deliberation meetings in determining loan granting. There is often disagreement between the parties that will borrow. This resulted in unequal distribution of loans to BUMDes members. Although the determination of the granting of the loan amount is fully determined by the BUMDes However, this Decision Support System will display the highest to lowest priorities of the prospective customer , so that it will facilitate and assist the BUMDes in making decisions. TOPSIS uses the principle that the chosen alternative must have the closest distance from the positive ideal solution and the longest distance (farthest) from the negative ideal solution to determine the relative proximity of an alternative to the optimal solution.

Determining which housing to choose by consumers is influenced by many factors, including price, location, facilities, environment, and house design. The housing selection process is very important so that prospective buyers do not make the wrong choice. In this study, an assessment of housing selection load was carried out based on four main factors used as a reference in decision making, namely price, location, facilities, house design, and environment. One method that can be used to solve problems in housing selection is the TOPSIS (Technique for Orders Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method which is a multi-criteria decision-making method that applies the principle that the chosen alternative must have the closest distance to the ideal positive solution and the farthest distance. with a negative ideal solution. With this method consumers can make choices or make a decision by determining the weight value for each attribute, then proceed with a ranking process that will provide the best alternative from a number of alternatives, the alternative that has the highest weight value is the alternative option that has the highest priority value. Based on this method, the ranking results will be obtained which will be used as a reference in determining decision making. The result of the calculation process of the TOPSIS method is in the form of housing selection information that is closest to the choice desired by consumers who want to have an ideal home. Keywords: housing, assessment weight, topsis

Chen [24] introduced the extension of TOPSIS in the fuzzy structure, while this article stretches the modern approach of TOPSIS to the intuitionistic fuzzy framework. Linguistic terms are used in this study to evaluate the weight of each criterion and the rating of alternatives in the context of a triangular intuitionistic fuzzy number. A new intuitionistic fuzzy positive ideal solution (IFPIS) and intuitionistic fuzzy negative ideal solution (IFNIS) are proposed in this model of extended TOPSIS. Euclidean distance is introduced between two triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers to calculate separation between each alternative to both (IFPIS) and (IFNIS). The proposed model’s mechanism is presented with the help of an algorithm, and then it is applied to the personal selection problem. Finally, a comparative study is given between this model and other TOPSIS techniques.

The purpose of this study is to develop an extension of CODAS method using picture fuzzy sets. In this respect, a new methodology is introduced to figure out how picture fuzzy numbers can be applied to CODAS method. COmbinative Distance-based Assessment (CODAS) is a new MCDM method proposed by Ghorabaee et al. Picture fuzzy sets (PFSs) are a new extension of ordinary fuzzy sets for representing human’s judgments having possibility more than two answers such as yes, no, refusal and neutral. Compared with other studies, the proposed method integrates multi-criteria decision analysis with picture fuzzy uncertainty based on Euclidean and Taxicab distances and negative ideal solution. ERP system selection problem is handled as the application area of the developed method, picture fuzzy CODAS. Results indicate that the new proposed method finds meaningful rankings through picture fuzzy sets. Comparative analyzes show that the presented method gives successful and robust results for the solutions of MCDM problems under fuzziness.

To prepare for the wedding, it takes energy and enough time for the program to work as it wishes. The dream of having a beautiful and exciting wedding is every couple's dream. Surabaya was one of the towns with the heavy population. Surabaya was one of the towns with the heavy population. Such conditions are problematic because if couples who are going to celebrate the wedding don't have enough land to host a wedding venue in Surabaya. Gathering information regarding a wedding venue takes a long time. On the question of obtaining it, a wedding venue customization system was developed to make it easier for the tenants to select the appropriate venue. One algorithm that can be used to make recommendations with multiple criteria and alternatives is Technique For Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solusition (TOPSIS). TOPSIS is an algorithm with the highest alternative proceeds to have the shortest distance from the ideal positive solution and the farthest from the negative ideal solution to the criteria used by wedding venue elections to include rent costs, the sum of housing, facilities and the exact distance from the tenants' location to the building. To design this recommendation system, SDLC development methods are used that have grooves of grooves at every step made. Results obtained through two testing stages are functional and non-functional testing. At functional testing were black box testing techniques and 100% obtained results. Non-functional testing is done to shift from system recommendation output to manual calculating output. Results derived from non-functional testing by 100%.
