Principles of good corporate governance can strengthen the relationship between the effect of Tax Avoidance, the Board of Commissioners and Managerial Ownership of the Cost of Debt on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The hypothesis in the study uses the Eviews tool, tested 3 models 1) approach before using partial moderating (2) approach before using simultaneous moderating (3) The moderating growth opportunity.Samples consist of purposive sampling model with multiple linear regression analysis methods. The data used is the company's financial statements for 2015-2019. Research was taken from 28 selected manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and found samples 140 financialstatements.The results of observation were obtained partially by Tax Avoidance has a significant effect on the Cost of Debt, the Board of Commissioners has not a significant effect on the Cost of Debt, and Managerial Ownership has a significant effect on Cost of Debt. While simultaneously Tax Avoidance, Board of Commissioners, and Managerial Ownership influence the Cost of Debt. The moderating of growth opportunity strengthens the relationship between Good Corporate Governance and positive coefficient on the cost of debt, strengthened by the Leverage and Size control variables

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas, kepemilikan keluarga dan good corporate governance terhadap penghindaran pajak dengan berfokus pada perusahaan-perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode tahun 2011-2014. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan sampel dari 30 perusahaan selama periode pengamatan 4 tahun berturut-turut sehingga menghasilkan total 120 sampel. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa laba atas aset sebagai proxy dari profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap penghindaran pajak. Kepemilikan institusional dan proporsi dewan komisaris independen sebagai proxy dari good corporate governance juga menunjukkan pengaruh positif terhadap penghindaran pajak.                                                                                          Kata kunci: profitabilitas, kepemilikan Keluarga, tata kelola perusahaan, penghindaran pajak ABSTRACTThis study aimed to examine the effect of profitability, family ownership and good corporate governance on tax evasion by focusing on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2011-2014. This study is aimed to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance on profitability. Good Corporate Governance consist of three variables, which are independent commissioner, managerial ownership and institutional ownership. While profitability is measured by Return on Equity (ROE). The population of this research is manufacturing companies that listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. There are 43 companies as samples in this study which were obtained by purposive sampling method. Data collected by combining cross-section and time-series data. Furthermore, panel data analyze by multiple linear regression analysis by using EViews software. The findings show that independent commissioners, managerial ownership and institutional ownership has no significant effect on profitability

The objective of this research was to prove empirically the factors affecting the good corporate governance and the return on assets onthe tax avoidance of the manufacturing companies indexed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2014-2016. The independent variables of this research werethe institutional ownership, the managerial ownership, the proportion of independent board of Commissioners, the audit committee, the audit quality, the return on assets; while, the dependent variable of this research wasthe tax avoidance. The data collectingtechnique used in this research was the purposive sampling. The number of sample used in this research was 57 manufacturing companies indexed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2016. The data analysis technique used in this research was the multiple linear regressionby using IBM SPSS Version 20 program. The result of this research showed that the managerial ownership, the audit quality, and the return on assets affected the tax avoidance; while, the institutional ownership, the proportion of independent board of commissioners, and theaudit committee did not have any effect on the tax avoidance

Introduction: This study examines the effect of good corporate governance on the profitability, either directly or through CSR as an mediating variable in manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2008-2012.Methods: Sampling method used is purposive sampling by using a balanced panel of data to obtain a sample of 135 companies. Good corporate governance as independent variables were measured usingfour internal mechanism that institutional ownership, managerialownership, board of directors, and audit committees.he research hypotheses were tested using path analysis model.Results: This study found that only institutional ownership had direct and significant impact on profitability. CSR disclosure only proven to be an mediating variable in the relationship between managerial ownership on the profitability of the company. Conclusion and suggestion: Companies should pay attention in the form of social responsibility to the environment and society.

This study aims to see and obtain empirical evidence regarding the effects of Tax Avoidance, Revenue Management and Managerial Ownership Against Debt Costs. This research was conducted at the manufacturing sector company consumer goods listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. Population in this study were 51 companies listed on the Stock Exchange Indonesia se;ected using purposive sampling method, namely technique taking data sources with certain considerations. Data analysis method this research uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the research results show that Tax Avoidance has no effect on the Cost of Debt, Earning Management affects the Cost of Debt, and Managerial Ownership has no effect on the cost of accounts payable.

This study aimed to examine the effect of good corporate Governance against tax avoidance peroxided by the book tax gap and corporate governance is peroxided by institutional ownership, managerial ownership, independent board, audit committee and audit quality. This study was performed on companies listed on the Stock Exchange on the observation period 2011-2014. The method used is purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 10 companies. The data used is secondary data that can be downloaded through www.idx.co.id and www.sahamok.com.  The results showed that the variables of the board of managerial ownership, independent directors, audit committee, and audit quality effect on tax avoidance while institutional ownership variable has no effect on tax avoidance. It is suspected that institutional ownership as a monitoring tool in any decision taken by the manager does not support an optimal oversight of management performance related to tax evasion.DOI: 10.15408/etk.v15i2.3541

This study aims to determine the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Total Assets (DAR), and Corporate Governance (CG) on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2015-2019 period. Corporate Governance is proxied by the Composition of the Independent Commissioner, and Tax Avoidance is proxied by the Effective Tax Rate (ETR). The population in this study were 179 companies listed on the IDX. The sample selection used purposive sampling technique and the research sample was obtained as many as 60 companies. The data in this study are secondary data obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The data analysis used is descriptive analysis followed by the requirements test including normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The statistical method used to analyze the data uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that Return on Assets (ROA) had a significant negative effect on tax avoidance. Meanwhile, Debt to Total Assets (DAR) and Corporate Governance (CG), which are proxied by the composition of the independent board of commissioners, have no effect on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2015-2019 period.

The aim of this study is to test the influence of tax avoidance towards the cost of debt moderated by institutional ownership. In this research, tax avoidance measured by proxy of Book Tax Different (BTD) and Cash Effective Tax Rate (CETR). The population in this research is manufacturing firms that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with 2015-2017 time periods. The amount of sample before outlier is 198 datas collected with purposive sampling method, then the amount of sample after outlier is 187 datas for first model and 186 datas for second model. Cross section data is used in this research. Multiple linear regression, determination coefficients, and partial test (t-test) is used with some help of programming data using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 23th version to analize in this research. The result of this study indicate tax avoidance has not significant influence towards the cost of debt, and institutional ownership can’t moderate the relationship between tax avoidance and the cost of debt.

Earnings management is a manager's deliberate action to manipulate financial statements with permissible limits with the aim of providing incorrect information for users of financial statements. The variables tested in this study consisted of independent variables and dependent variables. The independent variables tested in this study consisted of independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, audit committee, and board of commissioners. While the dependent variable is earnings management as measured by the modified Jones model discretionary accruals. This study uses 52 data on manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2019. Sampling using the purpose sampling method. All data obtained from the company's annual financial statements. The results of this research show that partially independent board of commissioners and managerial ownership have no effect on earnings management, while the size of the board of commissioners and audit committee has a positive effect on earnings management. Independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, audit committee, and board of commissioners simultaneously have no effect on earnings management.   Keywords: Good Corporate Governance, Earnings Management, Board of Independent Commissioner, Board of Commissioner, Audit Committee, Managerial Ownership

The purpose of the study was to test the influence of Political Connections, Good Corporate Governance, and Financial Performance on Tax Avoidance. The research method used is a quantitative method. The study used data of 45 manufacturing companies listed Index Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2014 to 2018. Samples are taken by the purposive sampling method and which meets the criteria for sample selection. Data is processed with Version 9 Eviews software using the Generalized Least Square (GLS) method. Results show that Political Connection and Financial Performance have a positive influence on Tax Avoidance, this suggests that there are still companies that practice tax evasion. Corporate Governance has no effect on Tax Avoidance, meaning the existence of Corporate Governance is effective in attempting to prevent tax avoidance practices.
