The objectives of this study is to find out the influence of good  corporate governance (GCG) towards the corporate performance. Independent variable in  this research is good  corporate governance.  This variable is measured with an instrument developed by  IICG in the form of corporate governance perception index (CGPI). CGPI contains the score of the survey’s result related to the application of corporate governance by the Companies throughout Indonesia. Meanwhile the dependent Variable of this research is the Performance of the Company on their finances measured with “return on equity and Tobin’s Q. The Sample of this study is company which is registered in Indonesian Stock Exchange and joined CGPI Programs in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 taken by using purposive sampling method. This study used simple linear regression analysis method. The result of this study : (1) Corporate governance has a positive impact on ROE (2) Corporate governance has not an impact on Tobin’s Q

This research aims to find out the effect of corporate governance, company size and capital structure on profitability and firm value in textile and garment industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Corporate governance variables are measured by independent commissioners. Company size variable is measured by SIZE. Capital structure variables are measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). The profitability variable is measured by Return on Equity (ROE). The population in this research is the textile and garment industry sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. The sampling method used was purposive sampling method. Data sources are secondary data collected by documentation techniques. This study uses descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with a quantitative approach and uses panel data regression techniques assisted by the Eviews version 9 program. The results showed that first, the independent commissioner had a positive and not significant effect on Return on Equity. Second, SIZE has a negative and not significant effect on Return on Equity. Third, Debt to Equity Ratio has a positive and significant effect on Return on Equity. Fourth, independent commissioners have a positive and significant effect on tobin’s Q. fifth, SIZE has a positive and significant effect on tobin’s Q. sixth, Debt to Equity Ratio has a negative and significant effect on tobin's Q. seventh, independent commissioners have no effect on tobin’s Q through Return on Equity. eighth, SIZE has no effect on tobin’s Q through Return on Equity. ninth, Debt to Equity Ratio affects tobin's Q through Return on Equity and Tenth, profitability has a positive and significant effect on tobin’s Q

This research examines the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on firm value by using profitability as intervening variable.  Profitability is proxied by Return On Asset (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE). This study used a quantitative approach and path analysis. The population consists of 35 firms that were listed in Banking sector of Indonesian Stock Exchange over period 2013 – 2015. There are 34 firms are choosen as samples which has published GCG composit index throughout observation years and has not done corporate action that could affect the stock price directly. The findings show that GCG has positive and significant direct effect on firm value. Furthermore, ROA has positive impact on firm value; meanwhile ROE has negative impact on firm value. The results also show that the better the implementation of GCG the higher the Return on Asset. Moreover, the indirect effect of GCG on firm value through profitability is not significant. Keywords: GCG, profitability, ROA, ROE, firm value.

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability and good corporate governance on earnings quality in food and beverage companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2015-2018 period. Profitability is calculated using Return on Assets (ROA). The proxy of Good Corporate Governance are institutional ownership, managerial ownership, audit committee, and independent commissioner. The dependent variable in this study is earnings quality measured by discretionary accrual using Modified Jones Model to detect earning management. This study used secondary data from the official website of Indonesian Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id) and the sampling method in this study uses purposive sampling method. The data analysis in this study using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that profitability and audit committee have a positive effect on earnings quality, while the independent commissioner has a negative effect on earnings quality. Other independent variables i.e. institutional ownership and managerial ownership have no significant effect on earnings quality

ABSTRAK Sejak krisis ekonomi tahun 1997 pelaksanaan tata kelola perusahaan yang baik, atau lebih dikenal dengan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) menjadi isu yang mengemuka di Indonesia. Akibat buruknya tata kelola perusahaan di Indonesia pada masa itu, menyebabkan perekonomian jatuh. Sehingga setiap orang setuju untuk mengcover kesulitan indonesia dimulai dengan tata kelola perusahaan. Objek dari penelitian ini yaitu dampak dari penerapan good corporate governance terhadap ROE. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tentang pengaruh penerapn good corporate governance pada kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor perbankan yang terdaftar di BEI (Bursa Efek Indonesia) dalam periode 2009-2013. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 16 perusahaan yang diambil melalui purposive sampling. Metode analisis dari penelitian ini menggunakan regresi berganda dan regresi sederhana program SPSS 20. Kata Kunci: Good Corporate Governance, Profitabilitas  ABSTRACT Since the economic crisis 1997 the implementation of good corporate governance being an issue in indonesia. The bad thing of governance’s company in those days causing indonesian economy being slump. So, every one agree to recovered from adversity, indonesia have to start with governance good corporate. The main objective of this research was to determine the effect of implementation of good corporate governance (GCG) to return on equity. The purpose of this research is to know about the influence of empirical evidence of Good Corporate Governance practices to the company's financial performance. The independent variable in this research is the implementation of GCG and the dependent variable is the financial performance using a ratio of profitability. The sample in this study were banking sector companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in the periode 2009-2013. The number of sample used were 16 companies listed were taken by purposive sampling. This study describes the relationship between corporate governance with corporate performance and learns about the development and implementation of GCG in Indonesia. This study uses regression analysis to determine whether corporate governance has a positive influence. Sampling of Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) for 2006 to 2009 from The Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG) was used to measure the influence of corporate governance with Tobin’s Q on the performance of the enterprise market and Return On Equity (ROE) was used to measure the operational performance of the company. This study used a sample of 40 companies surveyed by IICG from 2006 to 2009 and included in the top 10 corporate governance ranking index released by IICG and the companies’ financial reporting are also listed on the BEI (Bursa Efek Indonesia) as well. The sampling method is purposive sampling. The result of this study indicate that there is no significant relationship between corporate governance with Tobin’s Q (market performance) but there is a significant positive relationship between corporate governance with ROE (operational performance).

Corporate Governance is a system that regulates and controls the company that is expected toprovide and enhance the company’s value to its shareholders. This study aims to determine the effect of theimplementation of good corporate governance (GCG) to the value of state-owned banks companies listings inIndonesia stock exchange (IDX) with the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a moderatingvariable. This research is a quantitative, analytical models using classical assumption test consists of a testheterokedastisitas, non-autocorrelation test and normality test, followed by analysis using regression analysismoderation. The results showed that, application of good corporate governance is proxied by ManagerialOwnership (X1), Proportion of Independent Commissioner (X2), Audit Committee (X3), Independence of theAudit Committee (X4), Frequency of Audit Committee Meetings (X5) and the frequency of Board Meeting(X5) simultaneously significant effect on firm value (Tobin’s Q). With the results of R Square of 61.1% meansthat the variable Tobin’s Q (Y) in the six variables explained by the moderating variable of Corporate SocialResponsibility (Z). While the remaining 38.9% is explained by other variables or independent variables outsidethe regression equation.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh good corporate governance terhadap kinerja perusahaan dan nilai perusahaan yang dapat dijadikan acuan manajemen dalam menggunakan tata kelola yang baik dan tepat sehingga dapat menguntungkan perusahaan secara keseluruhan. Populasi pada penelitian ini menggunakan seluruh perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan sampel perusahaan yang masuk dalam indeks CGPI dengan jumlah sampel 91 perusahaan. Variabel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu good corporate governance yang diproksikan dengan CGPI, kinerja perusahaan yang menggunakan proksi Return On Assets (ROA) dan Return On Equity (ROE), sedangkan nilai perusahaan menggunakan TOBIN’S Q dan Market to Book Value (MBVR). Penelitian ini menggunakan alat analisis regresi linear yang berfungsi untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara good corporate governance, kinerja perusahaan dan nilai perusahaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa good corporate governance berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan, good corporate governance berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan yang diproksikan dengan MBVR sedangkan jika diproksikan dengan TOBIN’S Q tidak berpengaruh, pengaruh kinerja perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan memberikan beberapa hasil, ROA berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap TOBIN’S Q kemudian ROE tidak berpengaruh terhadap TOBIN’S Q dan ROA serta ROE tidak berpengaruh terhadap MBVR.   Kata Kunci: good corporate governance, return on assets, return on equity, TOBIN’S Q dan market to book value

This research is done to know effect of financial performance toward corporate value by using of Good Corporate Governance as a moderating variable. ROA,ROE, And Leverage as an indicator of financial performance is known as the dependent variable. Good Corporate Governance (GCG )is a moderating variable.The companies that are in the research are manufacturing companies which are listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX), published financial statements ending December 31, and had complete data of Good Corporate Governance. The data is then processed by using statistical appliance that was called regression with interaction.According to the research financial performance (ROA, ROE and Leverage) by simultan show has an effect on corporate value (Tobin’s Q). Good Corporate Governance (GCG) hasn’t an effect the financial performance (ROA, ROE Leverage) toward the value of the company (Tobin’s Q). The result of coefficient of determination test indicate that all independent variables (ROA, ROE Leverage) can explain the variation of dependent variable (Corporate Value) amount to 44,8%. The result of coefficient of beta test indicate that ROE is most dominant influence to corporate value.

Economic growth according to business field said that financial sector in 2016 to 2018 were decreased year by year. It indicates that there was a financial performance’s decline in financial sector’s companies. In order to increase financial performance, we need to find out factors that could accelerate financial performance’s potential. Internal audit, capital structure, and good corporate governance are independent variables that will be tested in this research for their impacts on financial performance. This research uses ROA, ROE, & NPM combination as internal audit’s proxies and DAR, DER, & LDER as capital structure’s proxies which are still minor in prior researchs. The purpose of this research is to test how far internal audit, capital structure, and good corporate governance could affect financial performance partially. This research was tested on financial sector’s companies that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016 to 2018 with 129 samples using purposive sampling method with judgment. The results of this research proved that internal audit had insignificant positive impact on financial performance, capital structure had significant negative impact on financial performance, while good corporate governance had significant positive impact on financial performance with significant level 0,005 which is had not reach the maximum standard 0,05 yet.

This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual capital on the company's financial performance. The independent variable used in this study is intellectual capital. The dependent variable used in this study is the company's financial performance as measured by Return on Assets (ROA). Return on Equity (ROE) and Growth of Revenue (GR). The research sample is a pharmaceutical company that is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with a study period of 2010-2014. Data was collected by purposive sampling method, based on these criteria, as many as 8 companies were selected as samples in this study. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis using SPSS v.20 software. the test shows that (1) intellectual capital has an effect on ROA, (2) intellectual capital has an effect on ROE (3) intellectual capital does not affect GR.
