A large number of researches on the electroless plating of carbon nanotubes and their applications after plating have emerged, which has attracted more and more attention. In this review article, the existing electroless plating methods for carbon nanotubes were briefly summarized, and the surface coatings were listed and analyzed in detail. At last, the related applications after electroless metal/alloy coatings of carbon nanotubes were discussed in detail. This study aims to provide a reference for the research and improvement of different electroless metals/alloys coatings of carbon nanotubes. After a clear understanding of the electroless metal/alloy coatings of carbon nanotubes, the appropriate coating can be selected according to the actual situation, so that the carbon nanotubes after plating can be used as reinforcement and modification materials for better satisfaction of the needs, and the application of plated carbon nanotubes has reference significance in more fields.

The implementation of nanomedicine not only provides enhanced drug solubility and reduced off-target adverse effects, but also offers novel theranostic approaches in clinical practice. The increasing number of studies on the application of nanomaterials in kidney therapies has provided hope in a more efficient strategy for the treatment of renal diseases. The combination of biotechnology, material science and nanotechnology has rapidly gained momentum in the realm of therapeutic medicine. The establishment of the bedrock of this emerging field has been initiated and an exponential progress is observed which might significantly improve the quality of human life. In this context, several approaches based on nanomaterials have been applied in the treatment and regeneration of renal tissue. The presented review article in detail describes novel strategies for renal failure treatment with the use of various nanomaterials (including carbon nanotubes, nanofibrous membranes), mesenchymal stem cells-derived nanovesicles, and nanomaterial-based adsorbents and membranes that are used in wearable blood purification systems and synthetic kidneys.

: Multivalent carbohydrate-mediated interactions are fundamental to many biological processes, including disease mechanisms. To study these significant glycan-mediated interactions at a molecular level, carbon nanoforms such as fullerenes, carbon nanotubes, or graphene and their derivatives have been identified as promising biocompatible scaffolds that can mimic the multivalent presentation of biologically relevant glycans. In this minireview, we will summarize the most relevant examples of the last few years in the context of their applications.

Different pelvic floor therapy strategies have been adopted by physicians, urologists, gynecologists, and physiotherapists. However, the concept of pelvic floor physiotherapy is not yet clear for the majority of professionals, who continue to suggest activities that can actually be more harmful to the patient than beneficial. Consequently, the aim of this review article was to present the concept of pelvic floor physiotherapy, from its origins to its current principles, so that healthcare professionals can apply the therapy to their patients based on a clear understanding of the approach.KEYWORDS: Pelvic floor therapy; Physiotherapy.
