Smart, pervasive devices have recently experienced accelerated technological development in the fields of hardware, software, and wireless connections. The promotion of various kinds of collaborative mobile computing requires an upgrade in network connectivity with wireless technologies, as well as enhanced peer-to-peer communication. Mobile computing also requires appropriate scheduling methods to speed up the implementation and processing of various computing applications by better managing network resources. Scheduling techniques are relevant to the modern architectural models that support the IoT paradigm, particularly smart collaborative mobile computing architectures at the network periphery. In this regard, load-balancing techniques have also become necessary to exploit all the available capabilities and thus the speed of implementation. However, since the problem of scheduling and load-balancing, which we addressed in this study, is known to be NP-hard, the heuristic approach is well justified. We thus designed and validated a greedy scheduling and load-balancing algorithm to improve the utilization of resources. We conducted a comparison study with the longest cloudlet fact processing (LCFP), shortest cloudlet fact processing (SCFP), and Min-Min heuristic algorithms. The choice of those three algorithms is based on the efficiency and simplicity of their mechanisms, as reported in the literature, for allocating tasks to devices. The simulation we conducted showed the superiority of our approach over those algorithms with respect to the overall completion time criterion.

In this work we propose a method for organizing multipath routing for SDN networks. It have two main parts. The fisrt one is a routing method based on modified wave algorithm for finding paths, and second one is load balancing method based on ECMP algorithm. Combination of these methods can optimize using of network resources and provide a more optimal load balancing of network. The basis of routing algorithm is the search and use partially-overlapping routes. The basis of load balancing algorithm is equal distribution network load between all found routes. A comparative analysis with an existing algorithms for routing and load balancing was conducted and the advantages of this development are presented.

In the past few years, network requirements have been changing frequently as the amount of data traffic increasing exponentially so it is difficult to utilize the full capacity of network resources. Software Defined Networking (SDN) is emerging as a new networking technology which decouples the control plane from the data plane in the network devices. Separation of control and data plane allows a network administrator a better control over network management and also enables new development through network programmability. Presently Open-Flow is the most popular SDN protocol which provides communication between network devices and controller. In this paper, the Round Robin algorithm is compared with the Dynamic load balancing algorithm using the OpenFlow protocol in SDN under varying load conditions of TCP and UDP traffic. Experimental analysis shows that the dynamic load balancing strategy works better than the Round Robin load balancing.

Trends in technology lead to an increasing of their role in the development of humanity. Exactly “cloud technologies”, which are the basis for the technological development of the information society now, also they play the role of the leading tool of informatization of education, especially united with “edutainment”.During the development and implementation of software and network technologies in professional artistic education, the following issues remain unsolved: the provision of modern computer equipment and software, technical support for the stable work of information products, and the provision of selective authorized access for students to specific network resources. The methodology based on “cloud calculates” technology provides an opportunity to overcome these difficulties. And the last, but not at least, students may be attracted to the most promising areas of the development of modern information products.Actuality, practical significance, and insufficient development of these problems caused the choice of the topic of our research: “Terms of use of “edutainment” and “cloud technologies” in professional artistic education “.The aim of the research is to determine the conditions of the use of “edutainment” and “cloud technologies” in the preparation of future teachers of musical art. Methods of research: analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature in order to determine the state of development of the problem; synthesis, comparison, generalization for justifying the concepts of “edutainment” and “cloud technologies” and methods of their use in the educational process. This article deals with issues of the use of edutainment technologies and “cloud technologies”. It is offered conditions of using edutainment and “cloud technologies” in post-nonclassical professional art education on the example of subject “Musical Art”. Actual “cloud” services are analyzed and examples of their integration to educational process of professional art establishments are proposed.

The article considers the possibility of introducing digital and intelligent systems in the electric power industry, including the analysis of the consequences after the introduction of new technologies on the economic, social and technological side. Currently, the concept of distributed generation is being used more and more often in the global energy arena. This is certainly a trend in the energy sector. The current level of technological development in the energy sector is quite high, but in order to continue to increase competitiveness, we need a further transition to digital and intelligent energy systems that will increase the reliability, quality, environmental friendliness and automation of energy supply.

AbstractTo a large extent, the load balancing algorithm affects the clustering performance of the computer. This paper illustrated the common load balancing algorithms and elaborated on the advantages and drawbacks of such algorithms. In addition, this paper provides a kind of balancing algorithm generated on the basis of the load prediction. Due to the dynamic exponential smoothing model, such an algorithm helps obtain the corresponding smoothing coefficient with the server node load time series of current phrase and allows researchers to make prediction with the load value at the next moment of this node. Subsequently, the dispatcher makes the scheduling with the serve request of users according to the load predicted value. OPNET Internet simulated software is applied to the test, and we may conclude from the results that the application of such an algorithm acquires a higher load balancing efficiency and better load balancing effect.
