Evolving internet technology has brought about changes in consumer lifestyle and increased online shopping. Grounded in the theory of technology readiness (TR), this study aims to examine the effect of factors such as optimism, innovativeness, insecurity, and discomfort that may motivate consumers’ adoption intentions towards online food delivery ordering (OFDO) services. Additionally, this study intends to investigate the moderating role of situational influences (COVID-19) in affecting such an online behavior. By using survey methods, a total of 439 usable responses were gathered through an online survey. Data were analyzed by using Partial least square (PLS) and multigroup analysis (MGA) techniques. The results revealed that optimism and innovativeness have positive influences on adoption intentions while insecurity and discomfort have negative influences on adoption intentions in the use of OFDO services. The results also supported the moderating role of situational influences such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the PLS-MGA results indicate that the effects of optimism and innovativeness are stronger in demographic variables, i.e., young, male, high income, high education, etc. On the contrary, the effects of insecurity and discomfort are stronger for the opposite, i.e., elder, female, low income, low education, etc. Finally, this paper depicts remarkable insights for researchers, practitioners, service providers, and marketers.

Purpose This paper aims to investigate the moderating role of co-creation in the implementation of servitization strategies in the pharmaceutical industry in a business-to-business (B-to-B) context. More specifically, this investigation explores the impact of different levels of services (base, intermediate and advanced) on servitization and on performance by using co-creation as a moderating factor. Design/methodology/approach A research framework was developed and empirically tested in the pharmaceutical sector. Data collection was conducted through the online distribution of questionnaires. The final sample included 219 pharmacy stores, and the data were analysed using structural equation modelling. Findings Main findings suggest that when the level of co-creation of the design of services is high, there are significant effects of servitization on firm performance. The moderating effect of co-creation is illustrated in regard to intermediate and advanced services, but results referring to the impact of intermediate services on servitization appear non-significant with a low degree of co-creation. No significant effects could be found for the impact of base services on performance and servitization for both high and low degrees of co-creation. Findings show an impact of advanced services on performance through the mediating effect of servitization when the degree of co-creation is high. Originality/value Most research concerning servitization has been done from the perspective of manufacturers and service providers. This study adds value to the literature because it was designed from a customer’s perspective. Moreover, it contributes towards the conceptualization of the servitization research strategy and business models in a B2B context. This is accomplished through the investigation of the moderating effect of co-creation on the impact of the different levels of services on servitization and on performance.

This study develops and empirically tests a multilevel model of cross-level interactions between leadership style and ethical decision-making at the individual level. The study also examines the moderating role of strategic thinking support in the proposed cross-level relationships. Data were collected from 389 managers of electrical and electronic (E&E) companies in Penang. These data were evaluated using a partial least square-structural equation demonstrating via SmartPLS. Results confirmed the relationship between leadership style and ethical decision-making. Additionally, strategic thinking was found to perform the moderating role between leadership style and ethical decision-making. This research contributes to the literature on leadership styles and ethical decision-making. In recent times, no such study in (E&E) manufacturing context has been reported in Malaysia. Also using strategic thinking as a moderator is another novelty of this research.

The high Employee Turnover Intention (ETO) is a prevalent issue in the contemporary world of business, which is, directly and indirectly affecting organizations. The TC of Pakistan is the fastest-growing sector; however, if Talent Management (TM) is not properly managed, it results in Employee Turnover Intention and reduces Organizational Efficiency (OE). This study is carried out to examine the impact of talent on OE and examine the moderating role of ETO in the Telecommunication sector (TC) of Pakistan. The study is carried out using structured questionnaires as distributed amongst 125 employees of cellular service providers working in franchises, regional offices and business centers operated in Lahore- the second- largest hub of mobile users in Pakistan. Regression and MODGRAPH were used to check the effect of moderating variable, ETO. The findings of the study indicate that managing talent has a significant role in improving OE. In addition, ETO moderates the relationship between TM and OE in the TC of Pakistan.

The current study tries to understand the diverse nature of relationship between personality Big Five Model (PBFM) and student's perception of abusive supervision in higher education institutions of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Pakistan. Data was collected in dyads i.e. (supervisors were asked to rate their personality attributes while student were asked to rate the supervisor behavior) through adopted construct. For this purpose, data was collected from three government state universities and one Private Sector University. The focus was on MS/M.Phill and PhD student and their supervisors of the mentioned universities. After measuring normality and validity regression analysis was conducted to assess the impact of supervisor personality characteristics that leads to abusive supervision. Findings indicate interestingly that except agreeableness other four attributes of (PBFM) are play their role for abusive supervision. The results are novel in the nature as for the first time Neuroticism, openness to experience, extraversion and conscientiousness are held responsible for the abusive supervision. The study did not explore the demographic characteristics, and moderating role of organizational culture, justice and interpersonal deviances to understand the strength of relationship in more detail way.
