In this rapidly changing global environment, the need for communication skills (CS) and emotional intelligence (EI) has become important to today's leaders, in addition to knowing other technical and conceptual skills. Although many universities and management institutions around the world have studied the impact of CS and EI on organizational performance, there are still numerous gaps in the research approach, results and conclusions. Most people are confused due to complex information that lacked impeccability in past studies. This study aims to identify the significance of CS and EI that influence leaders and organizational performance and examine how the contributions, evaluations, opinions and ideas of previous researchers have been related and biased. This is an independent article based on a literature review conducted using the electronics databases such as EBSCO, DOAJ, RESEARCH LIFE, EMBASE and Google Scholar. The variables explored in the present review include effective communication skills, leadership emotional intelligence and organizational performance which are also the guiding framework of the review. The present review shows that CS and EI may be combined rather than separated to develop the potential of a leader to achieve organizational efficiency and success. Both CS and EI are the prerequisites of an effective leader to manage others and build long-term relationships. The review recommends that leaders receive the appropriate training in public speaking, negotiation, emotional management, and organizational efficiency to improve their CS and EI.

Professional sport have been developing dynamically in the last few decades. This is evidenced in particular by the growth of its income. The last one is directly related to a quality product produced by a professional sport – a spectacular competition. In particular, in the last few decades, the system of competitions in professional sport has acquired an updated form, significantly changed both quantitative and qualitative indicators of it held. Purpose. To identify key factors in the organizational effectiveness of modern competition systems in professional sports (for example, North American (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS), European (UEFA, FIBA / ULEB) and global organizations (ITL/ATP, PGA)). Methods: data analysis and generalization; theoretical interpretation and explanation; analysis of documentary materials, system analysis. Results. Modern systems of professional sports competitions in North America (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS) operate according to similar rules. Changes within these systems today are primarily due to public demand. In some leagues (NFL, NHL, MLS,) there has been and continues to be an expansion of teams. In fact, all of these organizations today focus on competitions and in the international sports arena, although until recently the domestic market was more important for them. Due to the development of technology, the leadership of the leagues is increasingly focused on the e-sports market. They develop their own competition systems in a virtual environment and use the latest technologies in conducting and broadcasting real matches, bringing the viewer and the player closer. In Europe, organizations such as UEFA, FIBA/ULEB are also experimenting with changes in the number of teams (increasing in some and decreasing in other competitions) and the format of key tournaments. The professional sports organizations such as ITL/ATP and PGA also impresses with the number of tournaments today. In addition, these organizations are characterized by unique systems of competition, which were also formed as a reaction to external factors (economic, social, informational, etc.). Conclusions. The key factors of organizational efficiency of modern competition systems in professional sports are the level of economic development, technology and information spheres, the level of interest of the international community in kind of sport, the social position of leagues, and most importantly today - development in a pandemic condition.

With the aim of achieving a global ranking and academic distinction, a large number of universities have decided to focus on competition and greater academic quality on a global scale. During the course of such a journey, universities have to face numerous challenges, including the enhancement of organizational efficiency. In the context of organizational efficiency, the most significant pillar supporting this drive is recognized as being digital transformation. It is widely accepted that digital transformation allows electronic systems to be used in the process of teaching and learning. These electronic systems (e-services) enhance universities’ operational efficiency. Keeping this in mind, this research paper aims to analyze the impact of digital transformation on the organizational and spending efficiency of universities, with a special focus on one particular e-service provided by the Saudi University. For this, the study examines the effort made by the government to spread the culture of rationalization and improve the efficiency of spending through a case study involving a statistical analysis of real data from an electronic system. The results of the study state that an increase in the number of subject withdrawals will weaken the spending and organizational efficiency of the University.

The main idea of this research is to examine how teleworking has affected employee perceptions of organizational efficiency and cybersecurity before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research is based on an analytical and empirical approach. The starting point of the research is a critical and comprehensive analysis of the relevant literature regarding the efficiency of organizations due to teleworking, digital information security, and cyber risk management. The quantitative approach is based on designing a structural equation model (SEM) on a sample of 1101 respondents from the category of employees in Montenegro. Within the model, we examine simultaneously the impact of their perceptions on the risks of teleworking, changes in cyber-attacks during teleworking, organizations’ capacity to respond to cyber-attacks, key challenges in achieving an adequate response to cyber-attacks, as well as perceptions of key challenges related to cybersecurity. The empirical aspects of our study involve constructing latent variables that correspond to different elements of employee perception; namely, their perception of organizational efficiency and the extent to which the digital information security of their organizations has been threatened during teleworking during the pandemic.

Abstract Starting from the premise of the complexity of the management process, it is essential to approach the fulfillment of the organization’s objectives in terms of the leader’s personality, taking into account the influence of his character on those he shepherds and who contribute earnestly to the success of the organization. Without being a coincidence, the specialists were interested in what motivates people to follow leaders and especially what traits of leaders make them to be appreciated and exert their influence casually, in order to achieve organizational efficiency. Onto exercising true leadership, beyond rigorous knowledge of principles, rules, modern leadership methods and styles, require a formidable, beautiful character, meant to achieve the cohesion of the community and its influence in achieving the purpose for which the organization was established. The character traits of the leader must be persuasive for the disciples, especially when we talk about an organizational climate prone to personal and professional development of each of the team members, and implicitly of the organization.

To improve warfighter performance, medical science seeks pharmacological, surgical, genetic, and neurological technologies to make soldiers smarter, faster, stronger, and more alert. The sought after soldier is a gladiator or Jedi knight. Scientific research, however, is unwarranted if superfluous, and there are grave doubts about the usefulness of super soldiers in modern warfare where warfighters need language and cultural skills rather than strength and endurance. Beneficial enhancement research, therefore, focuses on learning, information analysis, and organizational efficiency that do not require invasive, irreversible, or surgical interventions. Utilizing noninvasive technologies such as wearables or neuroplasticity training carry few risks and enable research subjects to give fully informed consent. Nevertheless, medical scientists are not conducting therapeutic research to ameliorate pain and suffering. They are building weapons of war. As a result, enhancement researchers and providers jeopardize their immunity on the battlefield and leave themselves liable to defensive killing in war.

Purpose This paper aims to highlight the importance of implementing green training as a part of green management practices in organizational operations by building the arguments through the lens of Ability–Motivation–Opportunity (AMO) theory. In this regard, the mediating impact of green competencies on the association between green training and organizational efficiency is determined. Design/methodology/approach The research followed a quantitative and cross-sectional approach. The study involved ISO-14001 certified textile manufacturing organizations to better serve the research purpose. The responses were collected from 235 managerial-level employees through purposive sampling. The data analysis was performed by using structural equation modelling to examine the interrelated dependence of the variables. Findings The findings of the study reveal that green training is essential for environmentally responsible organizations to attain their goals of efficient resource consumption in addition to serving the greater cause of environmental protection. There is a dire need to impart environmental-friendly competencies to the employees who resultantly become able to adopt eco-efficient ways of doing business. Research limitations/implications This study also has limitations regarding the generalizability of its results. It is primarily because of the limited sample size and restricted geographical domain. Additionally, AMO theory has not been empirically tested in this study. Practical implications Progressive textile manufacturers need to incorporate a consistent policy for green management practices to meet the expectation of their international clients and to remain competitive in international markets. It is equally important for the governmental authorities to design such environmental policies which necessitate the need of incorporating pro-environment business practices and measuring their outcomes. Originality/value This study will contribute to enrich the literature by offering an empirical analysis of green training for achieving the organizational efficiency in textile manufacturing sector. It will be a novel context to contribute to the literature of green management practices and its related fields. Moreover, the study is one of its kind that uses the AMO theory to identify the mediating role of green competencies for understanding the association between green training and organizational efficiency.
