The garment manufacturing industry is a labor-intensive industry, with one of the slowest transitions to automation. Hence, it is essential to build a smart factory based on automated systems to improve productivity and allow responsive production in the market. In this study, the manufacturing processes for a smart sports bra were established and optimized using various automated machines. For this system, computer-based 3D virtual design software, a technical embroidery machine, an automatic cutting machine, an industrial robot arm with gripper, and an industrial pattern sewing machine were used. The design and materials of the sports bra were selected considering embroidery, cutting, robot gripping, and sewing processes. In addition, conductive thread and light-emitting diode (LED) sequences were used to implement smart functions to the sports bra. Transport of intermediate materials, work orders, and process conditions were optimized to improve the flexible connection of each process and the quality of the final product. This study suggests the concept of the automated manufacturing system that minimizes human intervention by connecting the processes needed to produce a smart sports bra using various automation equipment and programs already used in the industry.

Background: In this study, a machine vision–based method was developed for automated in-process light-emitting diode chip mounting lines with position uncertainty. In order to place the tiny light-emitting diode chips on the pattern of a printed circuit board, a highly accurate mounting process is achieved with online feedback of the visual assistance. Methods: The system consists of a charge-coupled device camera, a six-axis robot arm, and a delta robot. The lighting system is a critical point for the in-process machine vision problem. Hence, designing the optimal lighting solution is one of the most difficult parts of a machine vision system, and several lighting techniques and experiments are examined in this study. In order to commence the mounting process, the light-emitting diode chip targets inside the camera field were identified and used to guide the delta robot to the grabbing zone based on the calibrated homography transformation. Efforts have been focused on the field of machine vision–based feature extraction of the chip pins and the holes on the printed circuit board. The correspondence of each other is determined by the position of the chip pins and the printed circuit board circuit pattern. The image acquisition is achieved directly online in real time. The image analysis algorithm must be sufficiently fast to follow the production rate. In order to compensate for the uncertainty of the light-emitting diode chip mounting process, a visual feedback strategy in conjunction with an uncertainty compensation strategy is employed. Results: Finally, the light-emitting diode chip was automatically grabbed and accurately placed at the desired positions. Conclusion: On-line and off-line experiments were conducted to investigate the performance of the vision system with respect to detecting and mounting light-emitting diode chips.

The company's commitment to implement Six Sigma has been said to fail, as a quality management strategies, as expected to lead to continuous improvement. This study has its objective to identify the use of Six Sigma as a tool to improve cost management strategies in the production of LED (light emitting diode) on PT TMJ. It uses a case study approach to non-mainstream. The unit of analysis done on the application of six sigma strategies to evaluate quality management performance on the cleaning process of the LED light top-ring used in this study. The result of the evaluation measure phase, generally, informs that the company has increased sigma capability of the base performance so that the company's efforts to reduce the level of disability in circumference above the cleaning process should be defect-free LED light wrinkle, wave and widened in accordance with the target. All these can be said to be successful. The result also informed that at the stage of evaluating the attributes of data processing capability, informed that the company is in the process conditions. The fairly stable production, production process capability are quite capable to meet the specifications of the desired target customers.

Chaos synchronization of delayed quantum dot light emitting diode has been studied theortetically which are coupled via the unidirectional and bidirectional. at synchronization of chaotic, The dynamics is identical with delayed optical feedback for those coupling methods. Depending on the coupling parameters and delay time the system exhibits complete synchronization, . Under proper conditions, the receiver quantum dot light emitting diode can be satisfactorily synchronized with the transmitter quantum dot light emitting diode due to the optical feedback effect.

The smart store system (F3 Storage System) provides an inventory system function, and is supported by voice recognition for items searching purpose in the warehouse. This system is aimed to improve effectiveness in item searching process for the warehouse management. An inventory system structures is employed in this system to enable items management. Voice recognition facility helps the worker to search item in an effective way. Worker can use voice recognition function to search the item in the warehouse, and searched information of the item will be displayed in the liquid crystal display (LCD) screen. Meanwhile, the location of the item will be physically indicated by the light emitting diode (LED) light function. The developed system also contains a barcode system to enhance the process of scheduling warehouse activity. Such facilities will enhance the capabilities of existing inventory management systems in warehouses. Prototyping model is used to assist project development. Arduino technology is used to enable integrated hardware and software to read data or input. With Arduino technology, traditional search items by using text and search functionality are enhanced to allow speech functionality. This functionality makes the search process faster and more efficient.
