While extracting meaningful information from big data is getting relevance, literature lacks information on how to handle sensitive data by different project partners in order to collectively answer research questions (RQs), especially on impact assessment of new automated driving technologies. This paper presents the application of an established reference piloting methodology and the consequent development of a coherent, robust workflow. Key challenges include ensuring methodological soundness and data validity while protecting partners’ intellectual property. The authors draw on their experiences in a 34-partner project aimed at assessing the impact of advanced automated driving functions, across 10 European countries. In the first step of the workflow, we captured the quantitative requirements of each RQ in terms of the relevant data needed from the tests. Most of the data come from vehicular sensors, but subjective data from questionnaires are processed as well. Next, we set up a data management process involving several partners (vehicle manufacturers, research institutions, suppliers and developers), with different perspectives and requirements. Finally, we deployed the system so that it is fully integrated within the project big data toolchain and usable by all the partners. Based on our experience, we highlight the importance of the reference methodology to theoretically inform and coherently manage all the steps of the project and the need for effective and efficient tools, in order to support the everyday work of all the involved research teams, from vehicle manufacturers to data analysts.

Industrialization can benefit individuals, communities or states as it opens new opportunities for economic, social and human development. The stream of globalization is impelling Bangladesh to adopt the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Bangladesh has pursued export-oriented industrialization, with its key export sectors include textiles, shipbuilding, fish and seafood, jute and leather goods etc. Communication system plays a very important role in accelerating the place of industrialization of a country. Along with the industrialization, communication system of Bangladesh has also been greatly improved. Various major projects have already been implemented and many more new projects have been under taken. Even then various unplanned developments are creating traffic congestion on our highways which become a big problem for us. Factories are being setup on both side along the highways in an unplanned manner to accelerate the pace of industrialization. As a result, roadways cause a slew of issues, including reduced capacity, increased travel time delays, queue length, increased fuel consumption, and roadway accidents, all of which result in unrecorded economic losses. So, it is vital to investigate and measure the traffic impact of industrial installations along highways in order to achieve long-term sustainability. Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) is a technical examination of traffic problems and safety concerns associated with a particular development. In this study, we have assessed the traffic impact due to setting up a new industry along the Dhaka-Aricha Highway(N-5). It is mainly focused on the impact of the new generated traffic will have on the Dhaka -Aricha highway’s traffic system after the installation of an industry.  Furthermore, the findings may be used to take the anticipatory role in the future for becoming a beneficiary to set up a sustainable industry along the highways.

This study investigates the impact of creativity as a predictor of business performance of undergraduate entrepreneurs in Nigerian universities. Survey research design was used. A sample size of 120 respondents was selected while only 100 of them actively participated in the study. Research questions were set with one main hypothesis that was formulated and tested. Descriptive statistics comprising the simple percentage and tables were used for detailed presentation and analysis of data. The Pearson product moment correlation coefficient was adopted to test the hypothesis. The study reveals that there is a positive relationship between creativity and business performance. The researcher concluded by recommending that young entrepreneurs be more creative, attend more business seminars, invest in reading wide, scanning the environment regularly, and identifying society problems as well as customers’ needs and wants. It was also recommended that universities should widen their curricula to include core courses that encourage creativity, lateral-thinking, brainstorming, and problem solving as well as entrepreneurship development. In addition, universities should set up programmes to encourage the commercialisation of student’s business ideas and possibly self employment scheme.

There is a trend that recently the effectiveness of the Environmental impact assessment (EIA) has been called into question throughout the world, and this is especially evident in the Arctic region. We identify, reveal and actualize the priority areas in the field of Arctic EIA. To one of the areas under consideration we assign the development of more meaningful and re-gionally specific social and economic indicators to support the practice of EIA. In addition, we indicate the need for increased attention to the direction consisting in a thorough study of the working and administrative relations between agreements concluded privately (for example, agreements on the benefits of exposure) and the processes governing EIA. We state that despite the fact that the eight arctic states adopted the Guidelines for EIA, they were not fully integrated into the national EIA systems. A separate area should be the study of the consequences of recent changes in the processes, regulations and legislation in the field of EIA. We conclude that environmental assessment should play a key role in planning the impact of environmental, social, and economic changes and in developing response measures that will allow Arctic communities in the best way take into account new opportunities and deal with the inevitable major changes.

This paper investigates the organizational challenges raised by Big Data and its impact on the business environment with a focus on performance management. We investigate managers’ perceptions, understanding, and attitudes relating to Big Data and its analytics, in terms of opportunities, extent, limitations, challenges, and implications, with specific reference to performance management. The research methodology we adopt is grounded theory: we develop a reflection guide based on research questions covering the impact and challenges of a data-driven culture on business, and the impact on performance management and the decision-making process. The results obtained from senior executives from 21 Romanian companies leads to a conceptual model that distils the major areas arising from the responses and the interrelationships between them. These reveal several key areas of managerial relevance and suggest fruitful action. In particular, we find that the most critical areas requiring intervention lie in the area of awareness and understanding, goal setting, assessing benefits and limitations, learning to trust data, and commitment to an embedded data-driven culture. In addition to changes within organizations themselves, there are also implications for other stakeholders, such as education providers.

Nombreux sont les apports envisagés de l’Intelligence Artificielle (IA) en médecine. En orthodontie, plusieurs solutions automatisées sont disponibles depuis quelques années en imagerie par rayons X (analyse céphalométrique automatisée, analyse automatisée des voies aériennes) ou depuis quelques mois (analyse automatique des modèles numériques, set-up automatisé; CS Model +, Carestream Dental™). L’objectif de cette étude, en deux parties, est d’évaluer la fiabilité de l’analyse automatisée des modèles tant au niveau de leur numérisation que de leur segmentation. La comparaison des résultats d’analyse des modèles obtenus automatiquement et par l’intermédiaire de plusieurs orthodontistes démontre la fiabilité de l’analyse automatique; l’erreur de mesure oscillant, in fine, entre 0,08 et 1,04 mm, ce qui est non significatif et comparable avec les erreurs de mesures inter-observateurs rapportées dans la littérature. Ces résultats ouvrent ainsi de nouvelles perspectives quand à l’apport de l’IA en Orthodontie qui, basée sur le deep learning et le big data, devrait permettre, à moyen terme, d’évoluer vers une orthodontie plus préventive et plus prédictive.

Today, young men and women have a tendency to be less prepared to enter the home life, they are only ready to marry (ready here can be interpreted, maturity in terms of financial, understand what the meaning of marriage according to marriage law) is the bond of inner birth between a man and a woman as husband and wife for the purpose of forming a happy and eternal family (household) based on the Supreme Godhead while they are not ready to set up a home, whereas to build a household requires preparation both physically and spiritually . The purpose of this study to determine the motives underlying adolescents to make early marriage and the impact caused in the household as a result of the marriage.
